This arena is quite a sight. Outside is plenty of restaurants and bars to fill up on before entering. Landscape is beautiful with big fountain in front. Food condor selection is decent what you would expect from a stadium. The seating however is what makes the place stand out. The seats are designed in such a way that there is not a bad seat in the house. No matter your view, you can see the ring or stage very well. This is a great arena and look forward to any concerts shown

Staff was incredibly friendly, and the show was great. The seating was probably the most uncomfortable I've ever endured. I think I'd rather sit on an 18 hour flight in the middle of a non-stop talker and someone who hasn't bathed in a week than sit in those tiny, no leg room, blood-clot-in-the-legs inducing "seats" for one minute longer.

Excellent clean arena, easy to access, good food, courteous workers, just wish my team would've won!

Love the Coyotes and the Gila River arena. Always fun when we come here and the have a great sound system so even when someone's on a mic it doesn't sound distorted

A wonderful hockey arena, comfortable seating. Located in a very nice outdoor mall, with a plethora of places to eat as well.

Love the arena went this time for a concert and seating was great. Work hockey you don't want to be obstructed by the glass so pay attention to where you get your tickets.

First hockey game with my son. Even with "nose bleed" seats, they weren't bad at all. I would say that it is hard pressed to find a "bad" seat at this arena.

Went here for a hockey game. Love heading out here to see the games. Despite the long drive from Chandler, there's always something to do or a place to go eat for everyone.

Great location and the area is set up well for family fun on game day.

The hallways get a little crowded but it's usually clean and easy to find your seats.

Had an awesome time here! Easy to navigate through inside and outside the arena and with traffic. It was easy to find seats and did not seem too crowded when sitting. It is a very clean venue with nice staff. And a bonus for gluten-free hot dogs! Prices are what's to be expected, but a better selection. It is worth getting here early and parking at Westgate, which had many food options and a beautiful layout. That lot was right next to the venue. The $10 parking fee can also be credited towards a restaurant. Definitely coming back for another Coyotes game!

We go to hockey there and it sucks now that they charge for parking.

Horrible seating. The worst arena for seating that I have been too. The arena stairs are so steep it's like hanging your seat from the wall.

Nice venue and they keep it super cool for the muscians and crowd alike. If you get to Gila River too early there are plenty of places to grab some food and drinks.

Area is OK, but I feel that there is poor service during events.

Went here for a Panic! at the Disco concert. The venue itself was clean, the event was organized, and the staff was friendly and answered my questions (mostly directions lmao) without a problem; even if someone didn't know something, I was courteously referred to someone else. Lots of security, too. Felt safe :)

Very, very expensive. Nine dollars for a Diet Coke that should have cost $4.00 at most is robbery. $25 dollars parking fee in order to park in Handicapped spaces should be criminal.

Make sure you bring a water bottle if you are going to a concert because standing in the sun kills

Good concert venue- parking and traffic getting out is a nightmare. Lots of other things to do at West Gate as well.

Good place to see hockey game. It was cold in arena so plan ahead. We had light blanket and gloves.

Was there for ace comic con. Loved the panel seating for the big panels. Did not like the layout for the rest of the show to much. I spent alot of money anyhow.

Want to rate higher since it's the home of the Coyotes but this place is just OK. There's not really anything wrong with it, it's a nice facility but we all know it is far and they could improve the fan experience

Easy access from the highway. Simple parking. Good sound in the building for concerts.

Concert
On December 26, 2016 we took my wife's family to the Gila River Arena to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. We had pretty good seats in section AAA row 14. This was my 2nd time seeing TSO, but 1st time at Gila. The experience was very good. The staff and security was professional and friendly.

I love the fact that it's right on the side of Westgate! You can go to an event there and come out for drinks, or food, right after!

I visit regularly. Good crowd. Happy people. As usual.

Went for a coyotes game and then stayed around to enjoy the Holidays decorations. We had dinner in restaurant close by and then head back to Phoenix DT. Fun spot, perfect for after a game.

Phoenix coyotes are nice/good team.. there new goley is.good smith is good to tho

Great arena to watch icehockey even from the higher level seats. Pre-game show wasn t so spectacular than some other NHL teams.

This place is amazing! Not only is it a fun place to walk around with great restaurants and bars near by but as an avid hockey enthusiast it s great for games! I was able to attend my first NHL hockey game ( Nashville Predators vs. Arizona Coyotes) for $20! and this place is crazy fun! Ticket prices are great and reasonable for the seats given. The seating is nice and comfortable and surprisingly enough compared to other arenas I ve been to this place had the best handicap accessible seating and veiwing sections. The bathrooms are kept quite clean for a sports arena. The employees servicing during games are great, real quick to help and very kind. If you want something fun to do as a date night out or fun night with the whole family this is the place to go! The atmosphere here during a coyotes game are so much fun for everyone and as someone whose traveled here for work this place is definitely in my top 5 favorites.

This place is amazing, very clean, easy to find. I went to see a Lorde concert and really enjoyed everything. It's also the hockey arena for Arizona. The employees are great and helpful. I totally recommend this place for seeing great events of all types.

Great arena for Yotes games! Food and drink overpriced, but thats to be expected. No re-entry, and be prepared for metal detectors at the entrances. Great restaurants around the arena!

This place isn't very cool. It reminds me of going to Grandma's house for dinner

Great place for hockey games and concerts. Parking can be frustrating since it shares with a shopping center. As always, outrageously overpriced drinks and most food. Nice layout with shops to buy sports gear and plenty of spots to buy food/drink or use restrooms.

Surrounded by many little shops...Family friendly during the day..partying alot at night

Enjoyed the show I attended. However, there was a football game in a neighboring location at relatively the same time. Traffic was at a standstill and parking was atrocious. Poor planning on the event part.

Parking was purchased for $15.00 for the TWO and because there was a Crdinals game we were turned around in the parking lot twice .....result.....1hour and 15 minutes late for concert and parked very far from Venue......what a joke.....whoeber scheduled this should be fired!!!!!!

A great place to watch Coyotes play. Nice views, decent food and drinks. Nice experience.

Great Arena for hockey. More food choices would have been nice. Not close to how great Chase Field conncessioners are.

Always enjoy the Coyotes games. Building is clean and well kept.

Terrible box office service. Waste of time. They can only give you "the best available" tickets. Hey, if the side of the stage is the best, which it wasn't, then great. Oh ya, I was the 15th person to be helped. I guess all the 3rd party ticket sellers make out better than the band. What a joke to get tickets these days. Legal scalping. Thanks Vivid etc!!

Not cool that I had to pay 25 dollars just for parking close to the Arena. There is free parking just 7-8 minutes walking distance at the Tangers Shopping place. Had I been aware of the same, would have parked at Tangers on the first place. Anyways was expecting the parking charges to be max 10 dollars. They charged 25 and that's totally not cool. The arena itself is quite a decent place to hang out and attend sporting activities like Ice Hockey. Good place but parking was a farce.
