Waiting for rattlets game and making everone wait unless your a season ticket holder. Never stated this when got the tickets. Now were waiting outside in the freaking heat with kids and this is so miserable. Worst experience ever kids are complaining and hot. So lets get some heat stroke and see what happens then. This is by far the worst thing ever. Never again

********Update arena staff realised that kids are getting heat exhausted and made an great choice and brought them water and gotnthem insidebout of the heat. Thank you**********

The place is nice, can be a little daunting if you don t know where to go. The seats up high are steep and may be uncomfortable for those with uneasy balance and/or afraid of heights. However, I am a huge Coyotes fan, which they are doing AWESOME this year, but it is pricy. So make sure you save up some money for concession services! Other than that, it is a wonderful place to hangout and catch a game!

The new poutinerie is terrible and with no timbits, Dunkin doughnuts has yet to step up literally the stations are not set up just empty stands with logos. If I could give it zero stars I would.

We love coming to the hockey games other than the drive time and the drink prices. The games are great and the facility is nice. I would even say the tickets are reasonable, but the drinks seem to be high in comparison with some other events we have gone to.

Good arena. Rarely sells out because people would prefer to watch all the other sports that are offered on Phoenix area. Had they built the arena in Scottsdale then it would be packed because all the Canuks live there. Oh well. The seats are very very reasonable. They also put on a good product.

I go to Gila River arena many times every week, and have been going there my whole life to watch hockey games. Gila River Arena is an ice hockey arena where the Arizona Coyotes play their games. The plaza directly outside the arena is filled with restaurants and entertainment, I would suggest eating in the plaza and not inside the actual arena if you want a nice proper meal. There is also a hotel next to the arena where you get drinks, watch the latest shows, or stay there as an actual hotel guest. There is also pretty decent parking. Overall, it is an amazing place to go on a Saturday to watch hockey games and to relax with your friends.

The Arena is a little confusing. We paid for parking but had we gotten a warning beforehand we would have just parked in the general Westgate parking to avoid the $25 they charge for a college hockey game. It's an interesting arena. It seems like for bigger events it would be a better experience. Most of the stands, outside of your basic concession, were closed and they staff just kind of seemed to be around. The seating is comfortable, overall ok.

Home of the Arizona Coyotes can be a drive for most of the Phoenix sports fan but it's beautiful. Plenty of thing to do pre and post game. Locals should experience it a few times a year and more if you love hockey!

The outside area is festive. Lots of restaurants and entertainment. Inside, is nice. Surprised to see they had kosher food available which I supported. Nice to have diverse menu options. Wish the team played better yet It was still fun to be at the game and the arena.

After I got inside it was great.Having something at Cardinals stadium next door at the same time made parking really confusing. The ticket line needs a dedicated line for will call.A single ticket line would be good also. The buying process is slow.Too many steps involved. Then people buying tickets need to know what they want by the time they get to the window.

Awesome place to watch a hockey game. Glad they have vegan food options and at every customer service stand they have a print out showing you where you can find them. Only downside was 1 hour before the Yotes Wild game on saturday they only had 3 beyond sausages left. Luckily another fan donated one of his to my wife so she could have one.

Love coming here to watch the Coyotes play. Everyone is usually super friendly and helpful. Concessions are pricey but that's typical anywhere. Only drawback was at last night's game... the main security guard hasseled my daughter because my granddaughter had a small backpack that wasn't allowed. My daughter wasn't happy about it but took it to the car and when she came back... he sought her out and asked her what happened to the bag. Totally uncalled for but besides that... the game was awesome!

TSO was GREAT, but $20 to park was OBSCENE. Will take that into consideration next time I think about seeing an event there! (All of the staff that I encountered there were SUPER nice.)

I live in Chandler so only dare to attend Coyotes games on the weekends. I have a broken ankle but didn't want to miss the game. They provided me with a wheel chair and an attendant to push it to help me get to my seat and back to my car. Totally unexpected but equal appreciated.

A large location with a lot to do near it. Parkong was expensive ($15) due to the Coyotes Hockey game. Beer was $10+. Wetzela Pretzels, Dunkin Doughnuts, & general concessions were expensive too but you have to expect that at a venue like this. Sat in section 110 row T and had a great view of the teams.

The arena was wonderful but they need to do a better job of getting large crowds out of the parking areas while having crowds coming in for next show. Horrible. Waited over an hour. Meanwhile the cars coming in blocks traffic for the people trying to get out. Massive mess.

I had a great time watching the game, in spite of the outcome. My only issue is they turned off the escalators as we were trying to exit the arena. I didn't appreciate walking down the stairs on a bad knee. The elevators were jammed.

Bottom line: think about people with ailments prior to shutting down the escalators.
