Even though we are from the Toronto Area, my son loves the Coyotes. We went to our first game Christmas 2015. We return to Phoenix this year and decided to go to another game. All seats have a great view. Last time, we were in the upper bowl (200s), this time we decided on lower bowl. Great time.

With all the high rated reviews, our expectations were high. It was our first time here and we were excited to see Disturbed. We intentionally missed the warm up band and when trying to get to our seats, we were told they were moved (upper down to lower). We went to see who the security guy told us to see and they pointed at another person who we couldn t find. Meanwhile Disturbed has started. We were really frustrated; couldn t find anyone to help. Seemed they moved seats around, most likely just to lessen their expenses (at our expense), but it was last minute with no communication and no good process. TicketMaster had our email. Why not just send new tickets ahead of time? It ruined our night. We never did see the band just listened outside the #$%^ curtains. Wasted a lot of money. We won t ever attend a Gila River event again.

Went to see the Post Malone concert lines for drinks weren't too long. Did not have to wait to use the rest rooms. The staff was friendly and fast. I recomend concerts here. Parking cost $15.00.

We went to see a Coyotes game and it was so great. The stadium is top notch. They were playing the Predators. The only thing I can detest is that I wish it was a little closer to Phoenix. But all in all it was a great event. The stadium was top class. Very clean and spacious, the staff was very friendly and courteous. Food and drinks are a little expensive but it is too be expected, as is any sporting event. All in all great game, great experience and great arena.

Saw the Smashing Pumpkins here. I am not sure if it was the arena or then band's fault, but the acoustics were horrible. Could hear EVERYTHING clear as day with ear plugs in... Even clearer than without. Too Loud? I'd say.

The concert was awesome though, even though I am now slightly deaf.

Love this arena and Westgate. Great view of the hockey action even from the cheap seats but OMG the parking and traffic during an event is atrocious. I know that's pretty standard for an arena but this is just crazy.

Every seed in this place is good seat the sound system is good no matter where you said you have a good few for whatever you're there to watch whether it's UFC the coyotes Oar concert I've had a good experience every time I've been here the only drawback is they need to do something about those beer prices those prices are crazy

For all you Canadians or there who are missing home, this arena has a Tim Horton's stocked with coffee, French vanilla, Ice caps, and Tim bits. It's not exactly like home, but if you've been away for a while then go and watch a hockey game and grab some Timmie's. It should tie you over until you get to Canada again.

The butter cookies are great. I liked the Chinese cookies, but at 3 bucks a piece they are a bit pricey. Getting into the parking lot is tricky - you need to in the side. Definitely stop by for a treat.

My ticket lady had been calling me. Don't know why she's my ticket lady or why she calls me but I have family in town so I pulled the trigger. She sold me this "family pack" from PepsiCo. Spent 10 minutes in two lines (each) and was told in both that I'd have to wait 10 more for a dog. That's a lot of hockey. I was pretty drunk by then, bought a beer at every place I tried to get a dog, so I found two Gila River employees and told them these PepsiCo tickets are a joke. They laughed, got a manager, he laughed. (Not mad at them I was some drunk guy pissed off about hot dogs) $12 dollar beers, they moved those like hot cakes. I know I'm $100 lighter today and that was a portion of our tab. Really nice establishment, they have great restaurants all around. Nothing is free at these places and I'm an idiot for thinking there could be. At least I get to yell at my ticket lady next time she calls me. I can't wait for that. Anyways if you have a group go eat at one of the great places around or near the arena or get there way early. I started my hot dog adventure 1st period, missed the first goal and the tie goal standing in line trying to trade these stupid tickets for dogs.

Fun

Gila River Arena is a decent spot to see a game...parking was a breeze, the base in the sound system is legendary and the sight lines for the game were amazing, but access to the building through security took a long time and concessions were scattered... definitely down the list on NHL rinks I have been to...

Just went to see KISS in concert, the time on my ticket said it started at 7:30pm but started a little later, fine, whatever. Then they had some painter do the warm up! This is KISS and that's all you could get? Which lasted maybe 30 mins, but KISS did not come on until 9pm! That is an hour and a half of sitting there, that is ridiculous, I've never experienced that long of a wait between acts before! I was so close to leaving when they finally came on. Not to mention, this arena is the smallest I've ever been too! The seats are right on top of each over, there is barely any walk room when getting or leaving your seats. Oh and there was hardly any concessions open, I would not go back to this arena ever..

Fun.
