One of my favorite music venues, hard to have a bad seat.
We have been visiting the Coyotes Arena / Gila River Arena for years for live music performances. This place has wonderful acoustics and allows for multiple stage options. Just saw Trans Siberian Orchestra. All I can say for their Stage and light show is WOW! Never the same year to year and never disappoints.
Excellent arena and the staff was amazing! Went to see the Coyotes vs New York Rangers on 12/29/16 (flew in from out of state just for the game). Being HUGE NY Rangers fans and sporting our Rangers Jerseys we were in "enemy territory." The staff was kind, the ushers and security were fun friendly, and helpful. The BMW lounge was beyond what I expected the staff was also very accommodating, and the food was delicious. We will be back next year to see the Rangers beat the Coyotes again
First NHL game and it was fun. Very cold. Place is clean.
Had a wonderful experience at a concert here. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Saw a concert, great venue with easy parking and quick access routes
Great place for hockey. GO COYOTES! there is a Poke place in the arena,,,tuna, spicy tuna on greens,,so good and 0zero carbs.
Love coming here! Ive been to about 5 games since I moved to Arizona and its been something new and fun to discover every time.
Awesome place for a hockey game. Food choices could be more varied though.
It's definitely an older venue, and if you get nosebleed seats, just pray your view isn't cut off by the ...I'm not sure what it is, sportscaster boxes? Besides that, it definitely gets the job done, and visibility over the person in front of you is awesome.
It is a great arena. I love that they have hockey in the desert.
The place is pretty great itself. Only problem is the customers that aren't the brightest of all people.
Excellant hockey facility. Good sightlines. Great restaurants and other stores right next to arena. Good to come couple of hours early to enjoy the ambience surrounding the arena
Big venue, decent sound. Saw the Pumpkins for their tour opener.
Love the hockey, the ambiance and the venue. Concerts are great as there isn't a bad seat in the house.
Great ti.e,daughters AZ and I dancing and singing at Cher
Great seat for a great game....Only complaint is the prices of concessions. Even though we won the game I felt like I lost $6 for a bottle of soda is absolute robbery. $14 for a beer! I mean why do we let accept that. If you attend an event here I highly recommend to eat and drink before hand and boycott the outrageously priced concessions.
Always a good time & plenty of great seats available.
$6.50 for one bottle of water!! Gulp . Suggestion - bring your own. Otherwise experience was enjoyable.
Great place to see concerts and hockey games. Plenty of parking in the area and plenty to do before or after your event.
Very nice arena for the concert we saw. Traffic and parking were a headache.... nice conglomeration of restaurants and shops in the area.
Went to see childish gambino last week. Great parking and great seats. Even if you had a bad seat it was still a good seat. Everything overpriced but what u expect from an arena lol
The arena was excelent. But getting robed just to park your car sucks.
Best place to watch a great hockey game. No bad seats in the house. Dress warm....one of the coldest arenas I have been in
Wow alway impressive how they keep this place so clean
Fantastic venue, staff, accommodations. The location couldn't be more convenient.
Overpriced alcohol is nothing new at an arena, but dang. Dang.
What a great facility there is here by the arena. A nice plaza and multiple restaurants. The arena itself offered really good seats for the Blake Shelton concert which was a great show.
We went for the TSO concert in early December. Because I am disabled, there is always a concern as to how easy getting in and out of our seats will be. Fortunately, our seats were awesome. From the doors we entered, we had to go down about 1 or 2 steps, and we had the first 4 seats in the row. It turned out perfectly. We enjoyed the concert very much. Originally, a lot of people, us included, had lined up at the wrong entrance. We just sort of migrated to the first entrance we came to from the parking lot. We were not in line there very long when a couple of nice young men who worked at the arena came and told all of us that there was another entrance just up the sidewalk a bit with little to no waiting. So my party decided to go to this new entrance. We had to wait to get into the building for just a moment, but the line kept moving forward the entire time. Turned out our seats were right at the door we entered. Very convenient.
The accoustics inside were good as well. The only complaint I would have about the place was there weren't a lot of concession stands right where we entered or close to our seats. I am sure that had I walked around a bit, I would have been able to find whatever I was looking for. I just didn't take the time to wander. We were cutting it a little close on time and I didn't want to miss any of the show.
Overall, the experience was quite positive and one I hope to be able to make a tradition. I would highly suggest to anyone to go see TSO if they ever get the chance. If it happens to be at Gilla River, all the better.
Well managed, polite security personnel, good views, comfortable seats.
Great place to watch a NHL game. Friendly staff and clean facility. This was our first hockey game and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We'll definitely be going back again.
Went for a concert it was nice. Bathrooms were clean parking was fine. Nearby food was excellent we didn t eat in the arena but the food looked good.
Need to have ALCOHOL beverages and better food then hot dogs...
The concert was great!
Great venue for hockey. Just wish the locals supported the team more. Need to bring back more of the free parking.
Sat front row at the game it was a blast had BMW tickets as well that was pretty cool all-you-can-eat drinks and food love
Wonderful stadium and they put on a great show. The stadium staff keeps you entertained during the dead time and in between periods. It was one of the best sporting events I have ever been a spectator for in person.
The acoustics are ok, but too compact for music venue. You are literally sitting on the edge...
Went to the Queen+ Adam Lambert concert here. It was terrific.
Overall a very nice arena. The seats on the top section are a little cramped and tight.
Now I thought the employees were Great. I went to a Hockey game and they were super curious and seem to really care to do what ever they could to help you as needed.
we were there for the mercy me concert on Thursday. We are both blind. The staff there was excellent! They helped us with absolutely everything, from food, to souvenirs, to whatever else we needed for the evening. It was an excellent, amazing evening! The band just keeps getting better and better every time we see them. We did this as a trip for our anniversary this month and it was a wonderful wonderful evening. just wonderful! I would highly highly recommend this venue if you are blind, they would treat you very very well there is nothing too LOL.
If it wasn't for the our drive and the $15 parking I would have given it 5 stars. Great venue, lots of options for food and beverage inside and out.
My friends and I purchased EXPENSIVE tickets for a music concert to be next to the walkway stage that extended into the audience so we could see both the stage and the artists perfroming down the walkway. However, when we got there, the venue moved all the chairs back so that we were about 15 rows further back and we ended up BEHIND the sound board!! We couldn't even see the artists--then they had technical problems with the screens, so we couldn't even see those. Do NOT trust the Gila River Arena seating chart on the ground floor!!
Hockey....LA Kings Hockey !!! We beat your Coyotes 3-2 , 13 seconds into OT
Parking is a poop but overall clean and seats aren't bad
Wow I had such a good time that I can't remember the end of my night ;) always good times at the rink.
Great venue, NHL in the desert what more can you ask for. Everything food, beer, snacks is priced outrageously high, but that's what you would expect. Parking is always fun.
Lack of drink service. Blackjack tables denominations are not selective.
No one will answer the phone during business hours.
Gila River Arena itself is clean and staff is friendly. We went to see the Toby Mac Concert. Probably the best Concert I have ever been to. Lot G parking is right next door to the Arena. Lots of fun nightlife around the arena. We were in the upper level but could still see the venue well! We had an amazing time.
Concert... was way too loud! You'd also think by now that stadiums would actually staff better when it comes to serving alcohol. Do they hire trained bartenders because it takes way too long to get drinks. Maybe it's just me but you'd think they'd be about $$$$ and if so they'd staff up the alcohol servers!
Maybe not the best arena for hockey but the place was clean and the fans were nice enough
I love coming to coyotes games, even if there one of the worst NHL teams out there (-53) woww.. But they put on "a show" and it's neat that people can see some actual good teams come through and play! Thank you for bringing hockey to the desert. The yotes play pretty well when it doesn't really matter.. Maybe next season Got some really good young players, Keller for example. Hopefully they don't get dragged down with this franchise, lots of potential.
