Poor service at the bar and generally unfriendly staff all around. On top of that fairly expensive for a beer and burger. Maybe that explains why the place was empty. As a frequent business traveler to the area I won't be back.

Incredible! The food here is amazing. The wait can be a little long and their only able to seat you if your entire party isn't present. If you are looking for great BBQ in CA, this is the place to go! The service is good and the food is even better!

Enjoyed a tasty meal tonight... Service was fast and friendly even though it was busy! All our plates were presented well... Pretty cool vibe to the restaurant, close to the airport too.

Food was pretty tasty and the view of the bay was pretty for how steep the burger prices were, but the service gets my review only 3 stars. We went for a walk to wait out the 45 minute wait but returned when we got the call that our table was ready, only to find that it was not ready yet. Another ten minutes went by until we could be seated. Our orders were simple but several still came out wrong. That wasnt too bad, it happens. However, 20 minutes for 6 waters is ridiculous on a warm day. Our server was not busy as we could see her section had cleared out from the lunch rush. She gave us one quality check the whole meal and it was literally as our food was dropped by the runner, as if we would know before eating how our food was going to taste. I am a server myself and gave only 10% (for me that is bare min) for such poor service. This was a75th birthday for my dad as well as my parents anniversary, and we just felt neglected our entire meal. If management reads this, get your lunch crew together, I was embarrassed for you. To end on a positive note, the calamari was amazing and aside from the restrooms, the place seemed very clean.

My favorite location for delicious American food. Super savory. The staff was friendly and observant. Bring your appetite because portions are filling. Mood here reminds me of Colorado Springs area.

Not too impressed with this place. The sliders were dry the beer tasted watered down. I had a stout and a blonde that were very bland. The chili was decent as well as the chicken sliders, but nothing was great. The price is what brings this rating down more. Definitely overpriced for what you get.

We have looked forward to ribs here once a year for the last few years. We travel here from Vermont once a year to fish. Unfortunately ribs have been removed from the reasonably priced happy hour menu. $40 bucks! Byebye Jimmy's

What a pleasant surprise on the harbor- Jimmy s is well appointed, new, with very good food and plenty of close free parking. Right on the yacht club with good views. And the patio is fantastic, even at night in the winter. A little expensive, but that s San Diego for you. A good place for medium sized groups, as well.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I love how their service is always fantastic and they keep the place neat at all times. Prices are fair and they serve sizeable portions.

The food was amazing there and they give you a good portion meal, there is a large variety of food and the drinks aren't just cheap to produce ones
I would come again and I suggest the steak cause it was fantastic

Great food and great happy hour! You can walk, drive or boat over. This is a classic American Pub with pub food and lots of choices on beer, cocktails, etc. Breakfast is outstanding here although I think it's a little pricey. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Patio area with great views of the bay.

Just moved in the neighborhood about a week ago and decided to take an unpacking break with family and walk over to JFAT's, the burgers were absolutely delicious! I can already foresee this as a great happy hour hangout with friends.

The burger was bigger than my face and tasted delicious. The onion rings and fries were really good, the onion rings were pretty greasy though. The view is really nice, you look right over the bay. I would highly recommend this place.

Wow. I know what you're all thinking and yes that beyond burger is beyond anything I have tried. My burger was massive. Wished I had pictures but we ordered there and ate in the car. Staff very friendly and order was fast, like lightening. I did not finish my burger. My mate had the chicken sandwich and I started to ask him how it was but he was devouring it. Really good fries too. Nothing bad to say about this spot. First time here and definitely want to venture out again soon. 10 stars worth the price! And the drive

This is 4.5 stars, not 4. Went here for brunch today, had a reservation for 11:30 am. It wasn't busy, so wouldn't have needed reservations any way. They seated us right away. It's located on the promenade, so view of the boats, the clear sky and the water is quite pretty. We were seated close to the heating system, which was good, cz it was slightly chilly.
The food is good! I ordered southern comfort and my friend ordered the veggie beenie. Both plates came with a healthy portion of tater tots. And I mean healthy - just enough to make you believe you can finish them, unlike a lot of brunch places that put heaps of tater tots on your plate that you never ever finish!! Such a waste of tater tots.
Southern comfort was very filling. I should've asked if they could switch out poached eggs. I can't stand poached eggs. But I finished it all, so that says enough about the taste. The biscuit was delicious. Def recommend sausage gravy.
The veggie beenie was delicious. And again extremely filling.
I ordered a mimosas, which was great! Just strong enough that you label it a mimosa, not orange juice.
It is on the pricy side (we spent around 50 bucks with the above 3 orders), but it is on the promenade! There's parking which is awesome. Recommend getting here before 12 or making a reservation as the place starts filling up after. Will come back and on my go-to brunch places list.

My hubby and I went there for our anniversary -- we like Jimmy's because it's friendly, we love being on the water and the food is always good. There was a small issue, but when brought to manager Katie's attention, she remedied things graciously. The server was new and Katie's care for both customers and employee was nice to see. Made me wish to work there!

We heartily recommend and will definitely be back!

The baby back ribs were outstanding, and my ahi tuna sandwich was terrific. Katie suggested a wonderful tequila for after-dinner drink (casa amigos) which we thoroughly enjoyed!

Great harbor view.

Great harbor view.
We were there for brunch today, this in not said with malice. Our party had more than 60 years of service industry experience combined.
Mgmt should reevaluate there service training or retrain their front of the house staff.
Our meals were not as ordered and quality was not as advertised.
