This is 4.5 stars, not 4. Went here for brunch today, had a reservation for 11:30 am. It wasn't busy, so wouldn't have needed reservations any way. They seated us right away. It's located on the promenade, so view of the boats, the clear sky and the water is quite pretty. We were seated close to the heating system, which was good, cz it was slightly chilly.
The food is good! I ordered southern comfort and my friend ordered the veggie beenie. Both plates came with a healthy portion of tater tots. And I mean healthy - just enough to make you believe you can finish them, unlike a lot of brunch places that put heaps of tater tots on your plate that you never ever finish!! Such a waste of tater tots.
Southern comfort was very filling. I should've asked if they could switch out poached eggs. I can't stand poached eggs. But I finished it all, so that says enough about the taste. The biscuit was delicious. Def recommend sausage gravy.
The veggie beenie was delicious. And again extremely filling.
I ordered a mimosas, which was great! Just strong enough that you label it a mimosa, not orange juice.
It is on the pricy side (we spent around 50 bucks with the above 3 orders), but it is on the promenade! There's parking which is awesome. Recommend getting here before 12 or making a reservation as the place starts filling up after. Will come back and on my go-to brunch places list.
