We went on the haunted - house/ski lift~Adventure("13 nights @Jiminy PEAK)-HAD an ABSOLUTE BLAST!!worth every PENNY
Been coming to this mountain for 7 years my favorite place to go snowboarding can't wait till next year
ALPINE SLIDE!!!!!!!!! This makes my 10th slide. Good track, very smooth. Very long lift ride to the top and good track layout with plenty of turns and drops. They do need to get some new carts as most of the ones I used and saw were old and slow. Would definitely recommend a visit. Also have Alpine coaster but it's just not as fun if you can't hurt yourself.
Great family mountain with a terrific adaptive ski program.
Walk out the door to the lift, nice place! Trails were a bit icy at first, next couple days were better.
It's a perfect getaway during any season. The outdoor, heated pool and hot tub are the perfect addition to each day. Staff is efficient and friendly, and there's plenty to do yet a variety of places to relax.
Passes taken away because my 12yr old step son followed some kids onto a non open trail and then got stuck in deep snow. He called me so I went and got him and the ski patrol saw is and took our passes. Even though they seen he was walking. No warning no nothing!!
Family stayed in 2 different room types. First was in the main Lodge with free WiFi. It felt like a long walk to get to our room, had to walk through 2 or 3 other buildings to get to the buildings bewe were staying in The first room type was a 1 bedroom with a king size bed, a pull out couch in the living room and a small kitchen that had a small fridge, microwave and single serve coffee maker. Other unit was in country village and was 3 bedrooms without WiFi. Repeat NO Wi-Fi. Unit came with a full size kitchen though. Outdoor pool was nice. Note, if you forget a tooth brush your only option on-site is the country store on-site, which of course overcharges for pretty much everything. Free coffee and tea are available in the main lobby.
We had an amazing day at the adventure park! Having a limited number of tickets available per day made for low crowds, and safe social distancing! We did everything that was open in both the Mountain Adventure Park & Aerial Adventure Park multiple times and enjoyed our day immensely!
While I appreciate that the park is taking extra steps to clean and to protect everyone from COVID; I am disappointed that the chemicals being used to clean the sleds for the mountain coaster and the alpine slide ruined the clothes we were all wearing. It would have been nice to have been forewarned that bleach products were being used or at least if staff let the sleds dry before placing them back in rotation. Our already expensive day out cost double replacing ruined clothing which is disappointing!
Went to the 13 nights of Jiminy it get better every year there since the Halloween theme is different every year. However i went 2 times this year once on a staturday the first time i went there it was great the second time i went there was a friday and lets just say they seem very short on staff that friday night and this was the friday before halloween.
Love that they try to replicate the look and feel of the resorts out west with the "village feel". Slopes are well maintained, all the areas are clean. Wish they had more and better food choices.
i go to this place every march with my family and is very nice. there is so much to do there and you are never bored. :)
The ropes course was incredibly cool and the support staff are super friendly, helpful and love being there.
It's a beautiful place to enjoy your day with a lot of entertainment for grade prices
Family friendly, fun, fireplace in lobby, fire pit outside and lots of skiing of course.
Wonderful mountain to learn or take family ski trips to. Plenty of mellow long runs and a good set of intermediate trails. Top lodge for food the cinnamon buns are delicious and the view is beautiful.
Nice small ski resort. Good for beginners and kids...btw, No cellphone reception if you use T-Mobile.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The room we rented is a two bedroom apt with kitchen, jacuzzi, two bathrooms, and livingroom, etc... Good food at the Christianson tavern.
Room had a lot of amenities like kitchen and cook ware, dishwasher. But it's in desperate need of an update. The ceiling and floors are so thin you can hear people moving and walking above you clear as Day. Has great potential but over priced and noisy
Been coming to JP since I was a kid. It s a decent east coast ski resort and far enough from NYC not to be overcrowded with buses from NYC day tippers. Lodging is a bit dated but good for families, and the ski lessons (GET program) is a value for the amount of instruction over a 3 day weekend. Good place to bring the kids to learn to ski.
Great slopes, great staff, best kosher food, worst elevators in the history of elevators
Great family resort. They make tons if snow to help out mother nature.
Good classes for children, and even better for children with special needs thanks to the Stride program for adaptive skiing
It's cheap to get one ticket for the day, and the trails are great!! Such a fun time here, great atmosphere!! The food is way too expensive though so bring your own food!!!!!
Haunted house was a fun adventure, the only con was we spent hours waiting in line. Would do again though
I always have a good time and been coming here for years
I loved it my grade went and it was a blast. All the attraction were great so fun
Nice mountain! Great food and lifts and nice ski village.
Was only here for the mountain coaster. Lots of fun!
Awesome year round ski resort in the Berkshire Mts..
Great place to ski. The trails are well maintained. Short lift lines. I purchased twilight ticket (3pm to 10 pm) plus rental for $98.
Jiminy peak has a lot of fun thrill rides, lines were not long and the rides are very fun. Mountain coaster, Alpine slide, giant swing and Zipline. Worth the money for a fun day
Awesome! So worth the money. Can't wait to go back and ride the coaster and slide again.
Jiminy is by far my favorite ski resort local to Fairfield County. It's a little over a 2 hour drive and you have to watch out for speed traps on the Taconic, but it's well worth it. There are some great intermediate to advanced runs as well as lessons for the children and newbies. I've been to many of the other resorts in the area and Jiminy had won my vote.
Parking is horrible, and bad enough to minimize anything positive.
The location wasn't difficult to find, the facility was great despite the coditions of the ski/snowboard season have been this winter. Faculty was great and very friendly, especially the repair shop. Food prices are a bit overpriced, entertainment was nice though. I would happily return every year
Peed a little. Not only is there no snacks or beverages, there's no candy! #13nights
I was there for a wedding, it was a lovely spot for the wedding, there is during Spring, Summer and Fall a really fun activity park with rides for children and adults alike, the food was excellent, the surrounding nature is absolutely gorgeous.
Had a great time!! The rides are fun! The rooms arent exceptionally special, BUT they're roomy, with a kitchenet, and beautiful bay windows....Will definitely be back!
A nice resort. Employees will either be good or have no clue. Aerial adventure course is good but little creativity and older safety gear make it less interesting than RambleWild or adirondack extreme adventure.
Staff excellent. Management very rude, particularly Mark. Won't be coming back.
Just the right place off season to gat away from it all. Relaxing and tranquil especially if you want to get away from it all.
Went to the Mountain Adventure Park for the day. Staff was nice but uninformative and standoffish. Tickets were expensive and rides not clearly marked
Amazing resort - we went in the summer and loved every minute. The rooms are awesome and the rides are so much fun! Great for kids and adults alike. Would definitely go back.
It's our go to ski resort. Lines are usually short and terrain is great. Something for all levels.
Got there first thing in the morning and Jericho was in great shape
No crowd and impeccable grooming make for an incredible morning of skiing. With the exception of very few icy spots, the trails that were open were in great shape!
Had an amazing time at 13 Nights at Jiminy Peak. Can't wait to come back next year! Beautiful resort.
Lunch was busy and slow. I put my name in for a table, was told it would be an hour and a half. We never got called and ended up eating at the bar, four people sharing three seats. Meanwhile there were tables open, and two people taking up a table for six.
Many different trails for different skills. Well organized and many coaches available. Great place for family fun. Food could be better.
Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort is a great place to go with your family in the summer. I have an 18 and 20 year old who had a blast with their parents. There is stuff for families with kids ages 3 years and up.
They have a "Mountain Adventure Park" with a mountain coaster, alpine slide, giant swing, rock climbing wall, soaring eagle, Euro bungy trampoline, scenic chair lift rides, bounce house and kid climb area.
They have an aerial adventure park with 7 different courses ranging from easy to extremely difficult. They have zip lines as a part of the courses and also a separate zipline course with three ziplines and the leap of faith. The black course's (the most difficult course) fourth element is the hardest part of any of the courses. I worked hard to complete this element. The person after me had to be rescued.
I was happy to see that they had plenty of free water stations around the courses, and they encouraged you to stay hydrated. They also have a free playground perfect for the younger children.
The mountain also has hiking and mountain biking as potential activities for visiting families.
The employees renting the boards had no idea what they were doing.
I had to go back to the shop multiple times do to a broken snowboard, it literally wasn't holdiny bindings properly. So I lost time I could have been snowboarding, and they weren't listening when I was telling them what was wrong.
The lifts were great, and they actually slow them down for you to get on, so that's awesome. But I won't be going back to this mountain again until they properly train their employees instead of hiring a 15 year old who has no idea what he's doing.
Tons of fun, but brakes on the Alpine Slide are a must!
I visited the Inn at Jiminy Peak for a professional event. The facilities were clean and we'll kept. The staff there was very curtious and helpful. Jiminy Peak is a lovely resort that I would be happy to visit again.
Pull out couch was very uncomfortable and the pillows in the closet were not washed. Rooms need renovation and a deep clean. The bathrooms are clean for the most part but could still be cleaned more. Nice views and restaurant.
I've only been here in the summer, but my family loves it! Way better than an amusement park! (No junk to buy). Between the moutainside rides, and the aerial adventure Park, you can easily enjoy an entire day here!
I went for the first time in years last week. The facilities are clean and up to date, and the RFID lift tickets are really convenient, I haven't seen those anywhere else yet. Coupled with being more convenient than going further north, I'll be back again.
Just skiing. Christmas Evening with night skiing. Not crowded tonight so it makes for a great skiing experience.
Great mountain slopes and amenities. Loved walking up the gravel roads by the ski trails in September
Excellent ski resort for the Berkshires with night skiing and great lounges
Stayed at a condo right next to the mountain with easy walking access to ski! Everything was very nice and convienent!
Great local mountain with moderate lift ticket prices and night skiing available.
Jiminy does a great job on many levels. Their grooming is excellent and better than most in the northeast. The lodge, food and service is a step up from many of the alternatives and worth it. They've got plenty of extras from the mountain coaster, in door / outdoor pool and some accommodations right on the mountain if you need them.
