I ve been a State Farm customer since 1986 and currently my agent is Jeremy Fulkerson. His office is always eager to help answer my questions and resolve my issues. My recent encounter with the office involved a car loan. Ashley handled the entire process with me and had everything under control. She even met me at the dealership to sign the paperwork while I purchased my car. I ve always received fantastic service with Jeremy and his staff.

I would like to update my below experience with re...

I would like to update my below experience with regards to the branch of State Farm.

My situation was straightened out and State Farm did take care of my coverage issues. It did take me going above the local branch to get this resolved.

Myself and my family have been with State Farm for a very long time.
When I moved to Charlotte from Ohio, I was transferred over to Jeremy s office. For the most part things were fine. I pay my auto pay online, so there really aren't too many times where I had to interact with Jeremy and his team.

Until recently. I received a letter in the mail stating I would lose the collision coverage on my vehicle, due to a ticket I had received 2 years prior (70 in a 90 which in NC is grounds for an automatic 30 day suspension which a) I had no idea was the law b) didn't expect it to happen 2 years later), so when I received a letter saying my license had been suspended I had no clue it had even happened. When I called Jeremy s office, I was instructed to get it settled at the DMV and to send in my new license. So I did immediately. I sent the document straight to Jeremy with a recap of the situation and noted that I wanted to make sure my collision coverage would be reinstated. He replied and said everything was good to go and I didn t need to do anything. So I trusted that I was all set.

3 weeks later I am involved and at fault for an accident. I call to put a claim in and I am informed by the claims agent that I show no collision coverage on my account. WHAT?!?!?! How is this so? Jeremy said everything was fine?!?!? So the agent calls Jeremy s office and speaks with one of the employees there. The employee then confirms that I show full coverage. The claims agent says to me that EVERYTHING IS GOOD TO GO ..

That same night I get another call from State Farm notifying me that I have been denied coverage?!!?! WTH? Back and forth with the agency for 2 days and then with the claims reps, and now I am waiting for the adjuster to let me know what is going on.

Let s just say this was not the customer service I would expect from a local agency. I did feel mislead and uniformed by this agency. It wasn't until I took the issue above them that things were escalated.

They are the ONLY business that I know that cares about it s customers... they cut our bill in half nobody did that ...... all anyone else does is increase prices be mean show hate and put more fear in us!!! I call you and you there go it me every time not try o mention excellent rates... thank you for not following the hate and showing love instead

I ve had nothing but positive experiences with this group. As a long term State Farm user I got used to a certain standard of service and responsiveness from my previous 10+ year agent in SC. Jeremy and his associate Megan made my transition easy and fun. If you re looking for a new insurance agent make sure you check these guys out!

I became uninsured twice due to an awful experience with my agent Jeremy Fulkerson in Charlotte, NC in September & November 2013. Prior to the past few months, I have had a flawless experience with State Farm for over 10 years. Jeremy's office was updated by me of a banking change back in August 2013 and due to their inability to apply my correct bank account information to payment for my account, I went through two insurance lapses. I was lied to by his employees ensuring my payment information was correct in their system and that my automated payments were being made. The truth was they did have my correct information, what was not happening was the automatic withdrawal for my monthly payments. I have letters written by Jeremy admitting their fault as well as printed statements of my account activity interactions with their office showing my bank information being correct. My insurance lapse is completely at fault of State Farm agent Jeremy Fulkerson and his employees. This is a real life situation, meant to be informative of a real experience had with his office. I was insured through State Farm via Jeremy for two years, and before that for 8 with another agent in NY. I would not recommend Jeremy Fulkerson to anyone after my experience with him and his employees.

Current client. Things were great for the first year but over the past 6 months, I've had nothing but headaches in dealing with Jeremy's team. There is a lack of personal accountability from the staff and when I try to address the issue, I am usually told it is something I caused (ie: auto billing falling off my account from one month to the next). Tired of the attitude and lack of service, considering the commoditization of the insurance industry

Alex and his team are fantastic. Everyone with his group is eager to help and very responsive to emails and phone calls. Alex makes sure that you are comfortable and that you understand the entire insurance policy that you are purchasing. I would strongly recommend him and his team.

Moving from MA to NC was already a stressful event for my husband and I. Alex Esping was so helpful with all of our insurance needs. He was very responsive, kind, and professional and made the process of getting new renter s insurance and auto insurance so easy. We highly recommend State Farm!

You find out what customer service really is when ...

You find out what customer service really is when a bad situation happens and how a company handles it. We had multiple policies with this agency for 5 years and during the the last six months, we were split between 2 states and moved all of policies except our home policy to another State Farm office in the new state. During a storm in late June we experienced damage to our home. I filed the claim over the weekend. On the following Monday, your agent is suppose to call and check in. No phone call from their office. So, I called to them to see if they could call the main State Farm office and expedite a claims adjuster to come out that week because I was relocating in 7 days. The individual was like, I don t know if there is anything I can do, she said she would try. I asked her to call me back. She called me back and said she couldn t do anything because a claims absent wasn t assigned to the case yet. So, I called my other State Farm agent even though he did not own the policy. He had someone on the line in 10 mins and a we had an adjuster apptment set up within 3 days. I decided to move my homeowners policy to another State Farm office in Charlotte due to this lack of customer service and sense of urgency. I requested that it be done immediately and this office dragged their feet for over 20 days before doing it. They didn t notify me it was done or the new agent. I just happened to find out by looking at my home claim on line. Since I ve been with my two new agents, the service has been great! FYI word of mouth is everything, I was chatting with a girlfriend about my experience and she began complaining about her agent and we find out that we were both complaining about the same agent. I hope that this serves as feedback for positive change.

My family recently switched our insurance to Jeremy's office. Steve Carpou made it a very seamless process. I then switched to my own insurance, which to be honest was a nerve wracking experience. Steve however, made it very easy for me. He made sure that I understood everything that we were doing and that I felt comfortable throughout the process. Once everything was completed I had to reach out for another question and it was so easy to get in touch with Steve, which means so much! I would highly recommend the Jeremy Fulkerson office to anyone looking for a friendly and reliable insurance company!

I have been with State Farm Insurance for 41 years...

I have been with State Farm Insurance for 41 years, in several states and through several agents. I have my auto, home, and rental policies with State Farm. Jeremy's team was wonderful at helping me make the necessary changes when I moved to the Charlotte area, explaining what they could and could not handle for me, etc. They always take my calls, listen well, and call back when they say they will -- with insurance, response time and follow-up are vital. Tyler has gone above and beyond to assist me as I tried to find coverage for my employer for motorcycles, vans, and farm warehouses. He made sense of stuff and stepped me through the process. I have never felt ignored, neglected, or marginalized by Jeremy or his staff. Jeremy was also wonderful when I lost my job. He met with me to explore job possibilities within his circle of contacts -- how awesome is that?!

Jeremy's team does a great job of making you feel taken care of. A quick phone call regarding a change of address lead to unexpected help with providing documentation of my new residence.

It might not be much but when you take care of people like this, it deserves recognition.

This location is by far one of my favorites. If you were to call in please request Amy Graham, she was by far the best rep I have ever worked with. On day we were dealing with a client of mine and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with the account. After a few minutes of brainstorming, instead of her giving up she asked to call me back to investigate the matter a little further. She went well above and beyond for me and that's what matters most! Thank you so much Amy for giving wonderful customer service every time I call in : ) You truly are the epitome of what wonderful customer service displays!

Not only was the process easy from start to finish, but Jeremy was extremely personable, helpful and responsive through the whole process. So my wife and I have been with State Farm for many years and a number of people ask us why We don t go with other cheaper options in the insurance market.. it might sound cheesy but honestly it s the customer service we get from our local rep Steve Carpou that keeps us from entertaining other quotes. He s helped us with everything from claims, business property insurance , to even automobile financing (my wife and I financed both of our cars through State Farm) and time and time again Steve goes above and beyond. At this point Steve s like family and having that piece of mind is worth the few extra bucks we pay for all 5 of our policies.

I didn't ask for them to be my agent. State farm made the choice for me. Heather was pushing me to make a double payment. I really didn't understand why. I started my insurance online an never knew, I has to deal with a local agent. I hit someone I the back, switch to progressive, because didn't understand why would I make a double payment when, I had not had to before. I was with them from May 2015 tell October 2015. I feel like because I went to another company now the are giving me a $ 50 lapse in coverage fee. I feel like had a paid the double payment this wouldn't have happen. I never went a month without paying my insurance. When I spoke to a young lady today from the office she said she can't call every customer every month to remind them to pay. I'm a mom i am busy, I never ask to call I ask for a simple text only got a text in the month of October that when they want the 90 dollars. I'm going to pay the fine I have know choice. I funny hoe now I have to pay a fine for a lapse in coverage from the month of July, When it's November an I changed over last month. I hit someone in October also. So know they are punishing me for a lack of communication. I would never deal with state farm again. They are all about money not about help there customers. I'm a single mom with three girls they are taken my kids Christmas money from them. They don't care I'm 4 centimeters dilated my mom just had breast cancer surgery yesterday an all this is happening today but they care about there customers. Please I beg you don't be fooled like me .

We were with Nationwide forever and were very frustrated with the rising rates. We contacted Jeremy because his office was just down the street, and have been so happy with him and his staff. Their service is impeccable, he was able to reduce our home and auto and gives us sound advice on any additional coverage we may need, not overselling on needless policies. Whenever I have a question he is quick to call and talk me through the answers, without making me feel ignorant. I would recommend this group to anyone, I so appreciate not having to call an 800# in India to try to get answers, instead I just call right down the street!

I switched to Jeremy's office for my auto insurance since I had renters through him. He personally called me to welcome me and to answer any questions I may have had. Thankfully, I needed to add a second vehicle on and that was so easy to do. Very personable! The staff are also courteous and will help in any way needed to get your questions answered. I plan to keep my policies with this office for as long as possible!

Jeremy is very personable and professional and we are so happy to be his clients. We recently moved to North Carolina from Virginia, and as a previous insurance agent myself I had very high expectations for our new agent and the insurance company itself. Jeremy followed through with every step from start to finish and made the transition from one company to another practically seamless. I was very pleased with our savings. He saved my family hundreds of dollars on insurance and we were so happy that we recommended him to our in-laws. He saved them over $800 a year! They had been over paying for auto and homeowners for years in North Carolina. I highly recommend Jeremy for the customer service and the great savings!

I've been a customer of this State Farm Agency for a while and I have multiple policies with this office.

At one point, there was a bit of an accounting error at State Farm on two of my rental units. Because of this, I wound up having to go to the office in person to figure out what happened. That's when I met one of Jeremy Fulkerson's agents, Alex Esping.

Alex is rock star. He found out where the error was in the billing and quickly solved the issue. Since then, he's been my go-to guy every time I need a new policy for myself or my renters. His insurance advice has been on point and invaluable.

Alex's customer service has been so exceptional, it really needed to be recognized.

State Farm and in particular this local office with the help of Alex not only worked with me on my home policy but bundled my 2 vehicles with it. They helped answer all of my questions and found me discounts to lower my quote. About a year ago I was looking to refinance my car to save a little bit of money each month. Lucky for me I went to Steve Carpou at State Farm. From the second I started talking to him I knew I was in good hands but he absolutely blew me away! He managed to save me about $130/mo on my car payments which is way more than I thought would be possible going in! He never made me feel dumb and answered every single question I had and I'm so grateful! Sometimes choosing who to trust help you make big decisions or plans can be very overwhelming but I never doubted that I chose exactly the right person. That's why Steve Carpou also handles my renters and car insurance as well. Very thankful for good people!

Ashley called me to advise that we could increase our life insurance policy coverage for a small Increase to our premium. We recently had some wind and hail damage from a storm. My agent, Steve Carpou was easy to get in touch with, the adjuster was friendly and knowledgeable, and the company we chose to work with did a beautiful job with a full roof replacement. The three of them working together made the repair process easy and seamless. I knew there was a reason I chose State Farm for my auto, home, and life insurance- even our car loan banking. They were the first company I used when I got my license, they were my first choice when insuring our first and second home, and I've been a loyal client for over 20 years!

I have never really paid much attention to my insurance... It was just another bill until I moved to Charlotte and was transferred to Jeremy's office. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They made sure I understood my policy and my coverage limits. Whenever I've had to make a change it has been handled immediately. I even enjoy stopping by their office to discuss my policy face to face. They go above and beyond to make you feel like a friend. Jonathan is always a pleasure and makes insurance talk as painless as possible. I'd give Jeremy Fulkerson State Farm Insurance 5 stars a day, everyday! :)

Excellent service! I recently moved to Charlotte and Alex went above and beyond. He set up my policies the same day I called-- and even gave me some restaurant recommendations. He is very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. My sister referred me to this office --as she has insurance with Jeremy Fulkerson-- and sis didn't lead me wrong this time. Very happy with my choice.

I work with Alex Esping and he is the absolute best. As a consultant I travel constantly and hardly have time to get things done for myself. Just recently I was in the process of buying a new house and Alex could not have been more supportive. He is very responsive and helpful. I feel valued as a customer, and really I don t care that much about comparing cost. As long as I get the guidance and information I need when I need I ll be a loyal customer.

I am looking to switch my agent after 2months of working with them.
Relocated and called Fulkerson's which was not a good decision from my end which you will not know until after you give them your confirmation.

The help with relocation process was not helpful.

Fulkerson's staffs do not have reliable policy information and even reluctant to share the basic office's standard procedure to request the policy update or cancellation which were checked before I continued my policy at this office. I found out their informations are wrong when double checked with StateFarm's agencies. Fulkerson's staff who promised to confirm with me to be sure the switch of agency gets completed smoothly has not been done for over 3+weeks following the agency change request with the relocation. We received the new ID card after with the previous agent in Raleigh until April.

I requested policy cancellation and it was not taken care correctly and they still attempted to charge my payment twice from Danny Newton Jr. agency and I had to take care of this discrepancy through customer care center and complaint department which may not be helpful with their organizational setting. Because the SF corporate will not be able to see the correspondence between you policy holder and your local agent even if you the policy holder is play by the rule and the local agent is not. When they are not treating you as they should and a hint of refusing to provide insurance for no obvious reason, do your research to find a good responsible agent in your local area and then file a lawsuit if you have to, there are many good attorneys who can freely consult with you for your protection and legal right if violated.

Their staffs boorish and loud when discussing about the policy detail and making necessary updates over the phone. If you are not patient you will not be able to deal with their overdone and archaic administrative methods/process.

This agent Alex Esping does not carry through any multiple step administrative work that requires return calls and does not double check for the completion of an inquiry. For instance, he emailed, "Our agency does not pay anything to the State of DMV towards your policy. North Carolina does charge a Recoupment Fee and that is included in your premium. We do not calculate the short rate refund either." Other SF local agents said this is wrong policy information. Their staff also said, "You are behind" and that made me laugh because that tells me he is not informed about my communication with Jeremy as I was disconnecting with Alex because he was keep giving wrong policy information and does not do his job correctly.

Overall, this 2month of working with this agency was less than unpleased. Other local agencies can assist you better with your policy questions and administrative errors resulted and carried over from a previous SF agency such as claims error which you did not receive. The owner Jeremy has not been available since the first day that is already a red flag. Do not recommend Jeremy for your local SF agent.

Alex, Ashley, and Jeremy have caused lots of grief and time which they will need to improve for others who are oblivious to these situations. We do not live in 1980's which is how they run their office. Need to improve their mannerism, policy knowledge, administrative work efficiency, and synchronize their oddly complex "office standard" and expecting us to resolve the claims error issue without department phone number.

FULKERSON HAS PROVEN HIMSELF TO BE AN ARROGANT, UNINTERESTED, AND MISLEADING PRESENCE IN A VERY SERIOUS SITUATION WHERE AS I NEEDED A SURETY BOND DUE TO A TRAGIC DEATH; SIMPLE PROCEDURE TO OPEN AN ESTATE .. 6 MONTHS REMAINS UNDONE. TODAY I MADE MY FOURTH REQUEST FOR REFUND.

FULKERSON MAKES PROMISES TO COLLEAGUES & CLIENTS WHICH ARE VOID OF SINCERITY AND CONTENT, ULTIMATELY JEOPARDIZING CASES, LIVES AND FUTURES OF THOSE WHO REQUIRE SERVICES FOR WHICH ST. FARM, FULKERSON'S FIRM DOES IN FACT DOES OFFER.

JEREMY FULKERSON HE DOES NOT HONOR NOR SEEM TO BE AT ALL CONCERNED WITH MUCH MORE THAN HIS OWN ACCELERATION IN THE ST. FARM ORGANIZATION, AND SERIOUSLY LACKS INTEGRITY SKILL, AND MANNERS WHICH I DEEM REASONABLE, NECESSARY AND "REQUIRED" CONSIDERING THE NATURE OF HIS POSITION WITH STATE FARM INSURANCE GROUP.

MY COMMENTS IN NO WAY REFLECT UPON ST. He was very detailed and answered all my questions that way. I would recommend this office to anyone for their insurance needs. Great service! I switched my Auto & Homeowners insurance from Progressive to Jeremy at State Farm a few months ago and I am absolutely satisfied with the service. Not only did he find creative ways to save on my monthly premium, you cannot beat the service you get from a local agent. I wandered in to this location a year or two ago and I have been welcomed and helped every since. No policy is minuscule and their communication with me has be outstanding. I am the type of person that avoids long phone calls and meetings if I can and they actually have it set up to where I can text them. And they respond, not a robot! I love it.

Moving from Boston into an apartment in Charlotte ...

Moving from Boston into an apartment in Charlotte was already a stressful situation. Once my wife and i found a new house and needed to get home owners insurance and switch our car insurance. I did a lot of research especially moving from another state. When i reached out to other insurance companies. I felt the run around and didn't feel comfortable.

I decided to walk into Jeremy Fulkerson State farm office to get some basic info. As soon as i entered the office. I met Alex and he was so knowledgeable and professional. There was no pressure or stress. He listened to my needs and my budget. He found what worked best for me. Plus, he knew exactly the forms i needed to bring to the DMV to change my license and register the car. Plus, he set up my escrow for my home owners insurance.

From A to Z this guy was the best and I'm so happy I decided to walk into that office. State Farm rates were well below the national average and their competitors. I highly recommend going to this particular State Farm office and personally ask for Alex. The guys is the best in the business. Down to earth and easy to talk too overall. I guarantee after you leave his office. You will have a sense of relief and peace of mind. Trust me and don't waste your time or energy with other insurance companies. Alex is fantastic! I moved to Charlotte from another state and had a lot of questions that my previous insurance agent seemed to brush off and not explain to me. Alex took the time to explain everything perfectly to me and was extremely patient with all my questions and multiple calls. He also took a look at my previous policy and made some changes to it that saved me some money. He made this one step of moving so much easier for me. I highly recommend using them!

Jonathan is great!!! I would definitely recommend State Farm. The prices are great! Johnathan even came out to my house and protected my family with life insurance! If you need insurance this is the place to go! He didn't force any policies on me like most insurance companies, he allowed it to be my decision. I've had absolutely no issues with this insurance company.You guys have 5 stars with me!

Jeremy and his incredible staff cover both my auto and renters insurance and I could not be more thankful for their thorough and personal service!

The entire office, particularly, Jeremy and Jonathan, have impressed me with the way in which they continually go above and beyond! I initially brought my business to their office because they were able to save me on my monthly insurance, as compared to Allstate. They have worked diligently to keep my deductible down over the years and when there have been changes they have worked tirelessly to personalize my experience- emailing and calling instead of just mailing me notifications. Their sincerity and honesty won me over as well, and I truly feel as though I can trust their office with any matter!

You'd be hard pressed to find more personalized customer service or a kinder office in Charlotte! I assure you that you won't be disappointed by Jeremy Faulkerson's State Farm Office.

I was having issues with my current insurance carrier and decided to search for quotes for Auto Insurance. I contacted Jeremy's office and spoke with Jonathan from his office. He got me a quote in 5 minutes, and explained exactly what was covered, and more importantly what was not covered. I felt like the whole time I could trust him, and trust Jeremy's office and State Farm. I have been with Jeremy's office for about 6 months now, and the excellent customer service has continued. I have since purchased health, and life insurance from them, and I feel like I am talking to my family when I talk to them. They always have a cold beverage for me every time that I walk in there. I have had multiple Insurance Agents in my life, but Jeremy and his office are by far the BEST. If you want great customer service, and a great price, give Jeremy's office a call.
