AVOID Jasco's enbrighten Mini Plug-in Wi-Fi Smart Switch

Bought the Jasco enbrighten Mini Plug-in Wi-Fi Smart Switch this afternoon. Will be returning it to Lowe's this evening. What a joke and a waste of time. For me this product is a huge disappointment in terms of user friendliness. Getting this product to actually function apparently requires a Ph.D. in computer science (or an age of under 14?). I will be replacing this product with an old school style manual timer that requires nothing but outlet electricity-- no iPhone, no Wi-Fi, no "close proximity to the router" (really?), no 2.4GHz router and no technobullshit. This is my first AND LAST customer experience with Jasco/enbrighten. From a customer standpoint, this product is a TOTAL FAIL.

Bought a LED night light and the product is stampe...

Bought a LED night light and the product is stamped with 0.5 watts. Upon testing, that is not correct. Contacted Jasco and eventually returned the product to Jasco for testing. The whole process was dragged on with excuses that they are moving etc etc for almost 2 months now. Tried calling the manager and her superior and sending emails but no response.
This is ridiculous, especially it is part of General Electric.

Poorly organized. Dock/loaders have no clue what's going on. Contract says trailer will be loaded at 3pm for a 4pm pickup. I'm now sitting here at 6pm and still waiting.
2 weeks later: Things seem to have improved, but some days are better than others. Most reps are polite & apologetic, however, some of the younger ones can be very rude & angry. I think things, I hope things, will get continue to get better.

Horrible company. We purchased 2 pricey surge protectors from this company...then when a power surge came at our home..and nearly all of our electronic devices were destroyed, they did not honor the listed warranty. They told us one of the surge protectors was completely destroyed, so the surge had to be more than the protector is made to protect from...and said the other protector was working properly...and said something else must have destroyed our things. If it was working properly, our things would have been protected. I will never purchase another Jasco product and will recommend my friends and family not do it either. Shame on you Jasco....that is very unethical and shady business! DONT OFFER A WARRANTY IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF HONORING IT!

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...Four under cabinet lights ordered (2-24 and 2-18 ) on 8/12/20, received incorrect order (4-24 ) on 8/21/20, sent email to customer service support detailing problem, on 8/26/20 left voice mail detailing problem with cust support rep Suzie Ray, received email from Suzie on 8/28/20 stating to let her know what wasn t received and they will ship, replied to Suzie on same day. Asked for update on order on 9/2/20 via email to Suzie Ray, no response. Left voice message for Suzie twice and spoke with operator once to get contact other than Suzie since 9/2/20 and have not received product nor reply to voice mails nor from operator. Filed complaint with BBB on 9/30/20 stating that I would like to return incorrect products and get correct products that were ordered. BBB received response from Jasco on 10/7/20 stating Jasco Products Company has resolved the issues set forth in the complaint and has closed its file. I replied to BBB on 10/7/20 I am rejecting this response because: I have not heard from the business nor have I received the correct order. Received message from BBB on 10/27/20 The business maintains its original response to this complaint or has not responded to your rebuttal. The BBB states Unfortunately, your BBB cannot pursue the matter further. This complaint has been closed as unresolved.

Funny, Jasco had their own employees do reviews. The bad reviews are accurate. This place has been declining for awhile. Easy fixes, lack of motivation to get it done. Sad to see a company be more concerned about short cuts when it's a consumer driven business, whatever happened to quality and American made? It may cost more but it will be worth it to buy from somewhere else.

I purchased 2 sets of cafe lights about 5 years ago, the sets that are sealed and never need replacement. In April I contacted them, as both sets have bulbs out, and multiple bulbs with water in them. The bulbs don't screw out, so you can't replace them. So the woman who answered told me to email with pictures of each set and the date code tag. Which I did the next day, pointing out each set and the issues with each one. They have a lifetime warranty. They ended up sending me one replacement set. So I emailed and explained that I had 2 set that should be replaced. They tried telling me that on the call and my first email only mentioned 1, which is not right I responded back with the original email. They then told me that model number was on back order. I have not received the replacement set or any response from them as of June 2nd. Now July 19th and today I emailed again and still no communication. I'll never recommend or buy anything from this company again, and I'm probably filing a complaint with the better business bureau. The company has no standard and their customer service sucks

In June 2018 we purchased 5 strings of Enbrighten LED 36 18 light color changing classic Cafe Light sets. In less than month one string stopped working. They replaced it within days. Then within months we had to get replacement for the remaining 4 strings and once again for the 5th string. All were replaced by Jasco. In short time a string stoped working again so I just went and bought another string myself. Well about a month ago when I turned on the lights ANOTHER string was out. I called Jasco and was told the 36 set was no longer made(I wonder why?). Customer support said they would replace my one 36 string with 2-24 ones but they were out of the classic and had vintage in stock. He said with the vintage style I would need to use a different remote for those strings or I could wait for classics which should be in stock in a couple of weeks. I chose to wait as I could use only one remote for all of the lights. They finally arrived yesterday. To my disappointment neither of the new Classic replacements seem to work with my 36 strings but neither do they work with each other. Now I ll have to use 3 remotes to turn on the lights. Called customer service and was told my remote would never work with the new replacements. Ridiculous. Beautiful lights but not worth the hassle and rudeness from the support team. We ve spent over $500 for these lights and learned a lesson. Don t buy from Jasco.

Jasco is a wonderful, christian owned company that shows its values through their dedication to God, and wonderful customer service. Jasco is highly respected by myself, and many others whom I work beside. I am an employee here, but am also a loyal customer.

Well I ordered these lights on October 25 and I just got them today . it took 21 days for them to come from Oklahoma to Pittsburgh, that is just unacceptable to me. And when I purchased them on October 25, it showed them as a WiFi bundle and a smart plug was supposed to be included, guess what?, who would of thought it was not shipped with the lights I had ordered.so I wonder how long it will take to get that lol. I am also very disappointed in the quality of the products , so you have a metal light housing and a plastic stake to attach to them . now does that make any sense? And why wouldn't you get any extra stakes in case one snaps putting the lights into the ground,oh they want you to buy more of course I should have known. So in conclusion I would do your research very carefully and look for a better place to get your lights . I do not recommend jasco ,and therefore i will not be doing any more business with jasco. Maybe they should change there name to crapco.they really do suck!!
