Can't speak highly enough of the guys at The Car Surgery. I bought a car from Nick, the owner who was selling on behalf of his friend, a couple of months ago. I have to say Nick and his team were super helpful throughout the whole process and it was a pleasure dealing with them. I'll certainly be going back to Nick for all my future MOT's and services.

Off-side door mirror broken. Kevin examined the damage and ordered replacement mirror glass. Less than 24 hours later, the following morning he fitted new mirror. All working well.

Just bought one of the best cars I have ever had from these guys. 'Almost' regret knocking him down by 2 grand because the car WAS worth his asking price. The boss and mechanics are all car enthusiasts and knowledgeable. All in all, a little gem of a garage found in a back street but worth hunting out, ARCTIC street NW5/ Within easy walking distance of Kentish Town tube and Queens Crescent buses. Why get robbed elsewhere ?

Been using the car surgery now for 13 years with the first 11 of those with my old rover 600. Nick and the guys know their stuff and are 110% honest. The mechanics are all trained to the highest standard and are all friendly and helpful.
Even though my current car is under warranty I will always return to the car surgery, you trust in their judgement you won't pay over the odds for work done by them.

My Dad and me have taken our cars there for years, always top quality service at a decent price - good people all round and wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Car Surgery if you want good honest work for an honest price.
This is the most honest garage I've come across. I took my car to them twice. Once for an engine light warning. They didn't find anything wrong with the car but didn't charge anything although other garages would have. Have just done my MOT and was nervous because of the financial incentive of garages to charge for needless repairs but car was fine and passed. Kevin and his team seem honest and reliable. They've responded back in reasonable time when leaving the car with them too. They seem to know their cars and are courteous. Would definitely go back to them.
I came in twice with what I thought was a broken clutch/gearbox, the guys drove my car for a few days and couldn't recreate the problem and everyday worked out just the gear lever and linkages needed regreasing, which they did for free! They even cleaned the windscreen for me! Awesome.
I've had vans and cars worked on with these guys- they've always been straight-up with me, and entirely fair in their assessments - the won't let me drive away in an unsafe vehicle, but won't insist on doing work which doesn't need to be done.
What can I say - honest mechanics. I won't go anywhere else now!

I can't recommend this garage enough. I took my car to another garage last week to get a new clutch and 6 days later there was lots of smoke coming out of the engine. Obviously being a female driver I had no idea what was wrong, panicked and called The Car Surgery, having found good reviews online already and realising it was very local to me. I took it in today and Kevin explained fully to me what had happened. The other garage had failed to finish the job and there were various nuts and bolts missing from everywhere which had caused an oil leak! He even took pictures to show to me. Kevin recommended I take it back to the other place to fix the job properly but I was concerned taking it back there as I now could not trust them and asked Kevin to do it instead for me. Have picked it up same day and I have to say the service I received was second to none. Kevin is absolutely amazing, honest and trustworthy. The price also was amazing and I have now got a new mechanic for life - Kevin you won't get rid of me that easily - LOL. So so pleased I found this place. Don't hesitate to use their services. A VERY VERY happy customer

Very honest mechanics. Can't go wrong with them. Their prices are good. They dont rip you off like other mechanics can. They are very good at their work and honest at their work. You dont have to worry at paying prices for jobs that didnt need to be done. If your car doesn't need work or it's a little job, they will be honest with you. They won't make up stuff needs fixing where dont. Not money grabbers. Trusted mechanics. Will definitely be using them as my main mechanics. Maria
