Price is Right for hotel and casino feels pretty good.
The rooms were good. Nobody wearing masks in the casino,
Although I didn't gamble, however we did use the RV park and ate food in their establishment. Covid has put a damper on a some of the amenities but the staff had a positive attitude and where helpful. Thank you for the great stay.
It's not a good casino, it's really tight and the food there is pricey.
After reading the reviews I was a little hesitant about staying here, but those negative reviews in my opinion are not deserved. Didn't have any issues with check-in, room, or the gaming. Only thing is the vending machines where out of order so was not able to expenses one reviewers favorite thing about this location.
Super nice people, awesome food and fantastic entertainment!
Great place to stay. Food needs to be worked on. Truely enjoyed the blue sparrows surrounding the building.
We loved this place not only did we win but it doesn t just suck your money away. I liked the caribou coffee as well the manager seemed very nice. I also lost my keys and the hotel staff had found them and ushered them to the front desk in the matter of minutes. Very nice people even the security seemed nice considering most casinos the security team get this ego and want to check your license and inspect it like your some hoodlum...annoying.
Even though they snaked my 100 and have sbaked plenty of other 100s from still a great enviroment and always fun playing!
Jackpot Junction was fun. I'm all about the slots and I loved the mix of new and classic games. The staff was friendly and everyone had a great time. We had an unplanned overnight stay and headed out early in the morning. No complaints except I wish we lived closer!
Good food at the buffet and restaurant. Clean rooms. Friendly staff.
It did not smell like other casinos! Food was great, room very comfortable, employees very kind and helpful.
Awful when for our anniversary machines tight. Husband put 20 in one machine not even a credit.
Even though it's a long drive from the twin cities, I love going to jackpot junction. They have a beautiful golf course that's not overly difficult for a novice golfer. The food from the buffet is well worth the price, and I love the poker area on the second level. The hotel rooms are on par (pun intended) with other casino hotel rooms. Nothing extravagant, but you don't feel like you're staying in a room with cockroaches and bed bugs either. The beds are comfortable and everything is cleaned well. I will definitely stay again sometime!
I have never had a people at Jackpot, however this past week my family ate at Dacotah Restaurant and we had terrible, rude service.
The rooms in the hotel are really dated. The elevator is very slow in my opinion. I ate dinner at the Players Club restaurant and the service there was beyond poor. I'm very slow and the one guy had no clue how to Bill my ticket to the room. Watched the waiter walk past us several times before he took the order. At times I wonder if he even knew that we existed. The internet at the hotel was also pretty slow.
Decided to stop in on our way through, what a mistake. Only thing we wanted to do, play blackjack. 1 table open and it was $3, with players staying on soft 15 against paint. Asked the pit if another table could be opened, wasn't picky with table minimum. Pit boss said we should have called ahead, they sent dealers home. We'll have another dealer in 4 hours is the only option. What kind of casino can't find a dealer for a second table? They didn't even have a table open in high stakes. At least we know we'll be saving money traveling through Morton in the future. Sorrowful,
Sad Traveler
We had a wonderful time I have no photos though we had a very clean room very polite security
This casino is especially welcoming and has good perks. THEIR food is reasonably priced and some of it is beyond what you'd expect.
The employees are kind and helpful and warm.
ITS A GREAT ATMOSPHERE NO MATTER WHAT MOOD YOU'RE IN.
ITS easy to relax and it's easy to get a little wild.
This review is for the RV Park that they have on their property.
Jackpot Junction Hotel Casino and RV Park
This is a newer park on the property of the casino, with FHU 20/30/50 amp, excellent cable, weak wifi, Verizon 4 bars 4G. The paved pads are very level, nice new picnic tables and fire rings. Most sites are pull-thru, grassy areas are plush and well maintained, utility pedestal is very nice. You easily walk to the casino, which has 2 restaurants. There is some traffic noise. First go into the casino and get a Club card to get a discount on your site then check in at the Casino far end at the Tours and Travel area. Rate for the week, before Club Discount=$251.52, Club rate $213.25. Nice folks there. We were in the back corner in site E6, which was a little more private.
Mediocre at best. Needs update. Buffet is not good.
I left my phone at a machine and i promptly had it returned to me! So grateful to the staff!
I went to the caribou coffee and the service was quality and quick.
Nice clean room. The only complaint I have is that the shower water pressure is very low.
Best indoor air quality casino environment I have experienced.
This is by far the cleanest casino I have been to. Also the air seemed to be fresh not stale like grand casinos
Bad customer service if you get any service at all. It's clear that 80% of their workers don't like their jobs. The hotel room didn't have a fridge and at 2am the fire alarms went off and it was so painfully loud. They said someone opened an emergency exit in the casino which triggered the alarms. Why they need to wake everyone up with fire alarms if someone opens an emergency exit? The new buffet/restaurant was open. They should really out up some signs saying when the buffet is, how the buffet and restaurant are one and the cost. That way the workers wouldn't have to explain it every time someone walks in. There was a wait for the buffet because all the workers were being so slow seating people and cleaning up tables. The restaurant/buffet was half empty with people waiting. I don't recommend this place. The slots are ok, nothing special.
My absolute favorite casino, players club vip has the best rewards, such polite staff, have best luck there for 10 years now rooms are absolutely beautiful, food in several locations throughout casino amazing, bingo is also amazing here!
Never seem too win...But the food is pretty good at the Dacotah
The Seasons buffet was awful but the hotel itself was great! Great employees!
The hotel is your average stay. Nothing special but everything works and is what would be expected
Was only there for their all you can eat lobster night. Selection of the buffet was minimal but good
Fun an pretty nice hotel.beds to me were uncomfortable an buffett was ok.
Clean and friendly staff. Am not a smoker to much second hand smoke.
The room was pretty clean and the casino was fun to visit, it was a fun experience
I won and had a great lunch a a decent price on a room. Met some very nice people there
Its not their fault, but the mask and social distancing sucks
Love the game floor! Many older machines. But the hotel rooms are a nightmare! The rooms are small & dated, run down and long over due for a refresh or facelift! The flooring is shot, the walls are screaming for a fresh coat of paint. The bedspreads are coming apart, and the mattresses are so worn out and hard it hurts to lay on them. The food in the buffet, sportsbar & cafe is great. The public areas are very clean. The empoyees are friendly and very efficient.
My favorite casino! Absolutely.... Best return on free slot play that I ve seen. Not to mention the staff that runs the floor in the evening. Like Damian Busack & and the awesome head of security. Sorry forgot his name but you can t miss these guys... nice suits...
We did have a problem with one of the kitchens general managers yelling at us. But these guys cleared it up and made us feel very welcome...
I would recommend Jackpot to anyone looking for a good time that s warm and inviting!!!!
It's ok, for its geographical location alone, there's not much else out there. Staff if friendly enough. Games are ok. RV camping though is really nice!
Rooms are outdated, one of the few places that allows smoking.
Had a 60th surprise party for my really old oldest sister in one of the banquet rooms. My nieces did great job.we all ended up in casino at one time or another. Great time!
Great place for fun. Alcohol drink cost $$$ little to much
We stayed for 4days and enjoyed the pool, steam room and sauna room , I can't say much for the breakfast buffet. The room was great stay with lots of amenities.
Why would you go there, odds of getting ahead and going home a winner are low.
Well it was labor day so the parking was packed. Lost 450$ myself the machines just ate it without any payback to keep you going. Went to the bar and watched countless others lose just as much while waiting for a machine to open. Doesn't look like the casino follows federal payout laws. Lost a total of 1,400$ in 5 trips here. Never came out even a single time. -5 stars
Jackpot Junction has upgraded their buffet with a downgrade?! (Second time they have reduced the size of their buffet) They combined their buffet with their restaurant (it appears to be permanent) and are remodeling the old restaurant space (looks like it will be a lunch counter type of restaurant) so for now they have one less dining area. I'm not even sure the new buffet would qualify as a buffet. Entree choices were very limited and the dessert choice consisted of soft serve ice cream and two kinds of cake! No pie! No cheese cake! Not even any pudding! This is what I waited 25 minutes to be seated for?!? And to top that off...after my wife and I were seated, we noticed there were literally MORE EMPTY TABLES than there were people waiting to be seated! Tables that were cleaned, reset, and waiting for customers! I thought it might be due to a shortage of wait staff, but like I mentioned earlier, there is one less place for dining, so they should've had enough help. We used to eat here often and I thought it was a very good buffet, but seriously, I will not go there again.
Their slot machines also appear to be in construction mode lately since somebody has to pay for all the new stuff. I don't EXPECT to win at a casino, but being able to play for quite a while or occasionally going home with more money than I came with seems to be a thing of the past.
Had lots of fun did some gambling. Let the kids swim in the pool while adults relaxed in the hot tub. Fun place to be.
A bit out of the way, but great, clean facilities. Lots of events happening on a weekly basis.
The people there are rather stunned then welcoming. Ive been here a couple times and the machines havent really amaze me yet. I doubt ill be back here anytime soon. I enjoyed it while i was in town though...
Great seafood buffet. Stayed in the campsite with 3 other campers. Very nice sites with cement sites and grassy areas. Very clean and friendly casino.
Great place with or without the kids to stay. Great food and service.
We stayed overnight in a non smoking room. Casino was fun. Food was okay. We ordered room service and they made us pick it up and there was a dirty Kleenex under the pillow.
Nice place , friendly employees , helpful all around , security is courteous and not overbearing ...good people
