Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel Review

This casino as well as security is a joke. The staff is rude to people. They just ensured I will never be back and will take my money to any other casino possible. Don t waste your time or money in this atmosphere.

LOVE this casino! Staff is very friendly, the games are a lot of fun and they seem to have a lot of classic games that are some of our favorites which made our stay here a great one. The only downside: you will smell like an ashtray if you stay on the casino floor for more than 5 minutes. The air system in this casino needs to be upgraded so that everyone, including non smokers, can enjoy their time on the floor. All in all, it's a great hole-in-the-wall casino with things to do to keep you entertained if you're around for a weekend. We will return!

Very clean and polite employees, as well as the casino. Fairly good food, and I didn't stay in the hotel yet, but plan to in the future.

We visited Jackpot Junction a couple of weeks ago for a quick "Weekend Getaway" from the Twin Cities. This was a great place to go to get out of the "Hustle and Bustle" of the metro. It's an easy and short drive. The casino staff was very friendly, and they have a lot of the fun classic games you will not find anywhere else. (Such as Mystic Lake). However, if you are an asthmatic, such as myself, remember your inhalers before you drive on down. One of the worst air-handlers I have experienced of late. Gamble in the early morning if you can, before all the smokers awake. By mid-day and almost all evening, the smoke in this place is virtually unbearable.

New updates to the Casino and restaurant really make the property nice

I liked this casino except the smoking. Dealers and pit bosses were laid back and easy to get along with. All table games were hand shuffled and hand dealt - no shuffling or dealing machines that can be manipulated. I lost on the tables but I lost fair and square. I don't play slots.

I went to their new buffet restraunt combo today and never in my life have I seen such a small amount of choices on a buffet of just plain bad overpriced food. Better save some money and drive 6 or 7 miles into redwood and go to pizza ranch. I thought it wasn't the best b4 the change. Now ill never ever come back. Ill tell anyone and everyone that this place has went down hill. I wouldn't even give a star but had to rate to review. The staff is unfriendly and they seem more interested in goofing off with their co workers than to do their jobs. Just plain bad all around. Jackpot if u read these u need to work on this. U used to be good about 12 years ago. Total fail. 0 outta 10 stars.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Slot machines are better than most casinos in Minnesota. Very clean atmosphere

The hotel is alright. The rooms didn't have refrigerators and were very dated.

Playing area was great.,awsome burgers at the lounge.

Stopped for the buffet and the food was mostly cool to cold. Will not go there again.

The jackpot I was once gone to many times about 5 yrs ago and I went back there New year's Eve night it was changed lots and I was so unhappy with the change and the workers there that I will start going to diamond Joe's in Iowa,so so long jackpot

The casino has grown a lot since I was last there a few years ago and it was fun. The rooms were good for a good price.

The Buffett is horrible, expensive and I feel it was all leftovers. Was suppose to be my birthday dinner. Very dissapointed.

This was the best casino hotel I've been to where everybody was polite and my room was made, even though I left all my clothes laying around. House keeping is awesome here. The only issue I had was I took my kids to the pool and let them play in the kitty pool, my kids are three and two, and there were some big kids that were in the kitty area kinda bulldozing all the toddlers over, my two year old got pushed down the slide (possibly on accident) and hit his nose to where we had to rush out of the pool area and contact security where we received really good medical help. Friendly staff, not so friendly other guests though, the mother of the child came yelled at us because we seeked medical attention for our child and didn't find her first to tell her the situation, and to top it off, we weren't worried about getting the other kid out of the pool but the security guard asked us to point out the other child so he could let them know to stay out of the kitty area so the same thing wouldn't happen to other toddlers, so we did and aperrantly according to the other parent I was suppose to look for her first while my toddler is bleeding from his nose to where it looked like it was broken before seeking help for my child. I wasn't worried about the other kid, I was more worried about my baby being okay after that nasty fall down the waterslide. My only suggestion is put a age limit on the kitty area so other babies don't get hurt like my poor little guy did, and if there is already an age limit there have security do a walk through every 15 minutes or so. Great mini vacation and will recommend to anyone who is looking for a little get away.

The standard room rate is a good deal. Especially if you go Sunday through Thursday and get free play etc bundled with it.

Went for Hairball and had a blast. The only complaint is it took a very long time to get an adult beverage.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds with nice flat screen TV's. Wi-Fi in the room was easy to connect to and very fast.

LOVED Dakotah Ridge golf course - one of the best in the state. Will definitely be back and bring golf groups here.

Less than a 2 hour drive from the West metro

Smelled like smoke, but I am glad they had a Caribou coffee, needed my caffeine fix.

Dishonest I couldn't believe it! I was told by staff at rewards counter that if I came back the following day before 8 pm I would receive a complimentary gift which was a cute little leaf blower. The customer service person took my rewards card and typed on his computer to double check that I qualified. He said yes just come back tomorrow and you can pick it up. Which I made a special trip 72 miles round trip just to pick up the free item. When I submitted my players reward card and asked for the item, they told me that I did not qualify for it. I told them that the gentlemen last night ran my card and told me to pick it up today and I made a special trip to do so. So after they wasted my time and money I filled out a complaint form and management or supervisor still did not honor there word. So don't expect the casino to be honest, they are the biggest scam artists and they will lie and cheat and do anything to get you there with your hard earned money just for them to rob you blind. Even Praires Edge is a better ty than Jackpot Juntion. And you should read my review on that place as well.

Most of the staff aren't required to wear masks apparently in the hotel. The buffet is closed and also the pool. If I am forced to where a mask and get my temperature taken every time I enter the building, the employee should have to wear a mask as well.

Food is not good, hotel rooms are nice and the bands they get are good.

Don't waste your time people. This is by far the worst casino I have ever been to. The buffet food was barely edible, the choices of slot machines on the gaming floor is a joke, and the payouts are non existent. Wherever you are, I promise there is another casino that you can drive to that will be a much better option. I can say with great certainty that I will never go back, no matter the circumstance.

Good ambiance. I like the design. My favorite part is the circular bar.

We stayed overnight for a birthday of my mother in law's. Great fun, Even having kids there was plenty of fun to have. Amazing buffet and service.

Would like to see who wins the drawings cars,trips,ice fishing trailer..just fun to see who wins.. always enjoyed my stay. Security are very friendly..

Probably one of the cleanest casinos you'll see in minnesota. Always fun win or lose..

How can this place be so bad on the slots. I got 60 in free play and only got a few dollars off it without any bonuses or good line hits and 40 freeplay from my girlfriend and got 6.00 and then 60 cash of my own and nothing. Looks like we wont be back anytime soon.

Very nice casino. Had close parking. Only bad thing was no food open late. We arrived jus after midnight and the worker at the food booth was about to close up. Made it jus in time!!

Whenever we go through Minnesota we always make it a point to stay at the Jackpot Junction Casino and Hotel. The price is always right the staff is friendly and the hotel is always clean, the restaurant is very reasonably priced and we've always been happy with the food and the service. I would recommend to anyone if you're in the area to stop and stay it's well worth the trip

Ok selection of table games and slots. Hotel room's shower had issues draining.

All employees were super great- could use an update for sure in rooms. No fridge or microwave in a 2 queen bed room. I'd say 3.6 if possible.

Great food, fun gaming, pleasant service, would happily return again. Only downfall is how far away it is from Minneapolis.

Very clean and comfortable room. Shower pressure not great but it is well worth the cost and would definitely recommend staying there.

Attended a meeting. Meeting room was very nice! Would definitely recommend for a conference.
