I've tried a few things and they are all good but my go-to is the Big Sur. Very good espresso and the prices are reasonable. I wish they had a real newspaper to read (sorry ithaca journal).

I absolutely love this place!

Everytime we are in Ithaca, we have to stop in at least once for breakfast and lattes, the service is quick, the staff is welcoming, warm, and friendly and the baked goods are wonderfully decadent.

Live music on some nights beer and wine are also available.

Popular place for breakfast and lunch serving up an number of different sandwich, panini, breakfast and bakery goods options. Place can get pretty crowded so tables are full during peak times. Plenty of options worth trying out. Fairly big parking lot.

Nice selection of sandwiches and baked goods. There are lots of vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options as well as non dairy milks for coffee drinks. The specialty drinks are pretty good but are a bit pricey. It s usually really busy on weekends so it might be hard to find parking.

Honestly unless you re there to ensure that your order Is correct and look through every single sandwich you ask for, the order is going to be wrong 99% of the time. My family and I order from here all the time, especially during the pandemic to support our local business but there isn t an order we ve placed that s been correct. For $10 a sandwich plus tip, you d think they d pay attention to the order.

Food's a bit pricey for what you get but it's rather good. The coffee's excellent and they're generally more generous with their pour than some other coffee shops around. I know some people have problems with their service but I never have. All in all a good spot for breakfast or lunch, if not some place to go every day.

Delicious food. I usually go to Collegetown Bagels but they generally offer an equal experience. I always get the Big Sur from CTB. Today I had the steak and eggs on a cinnamon bag and Java Jolt today. Both were delicious as per usual. Not a long wait today.

We just accidentally found this place and were blown away by the variety of choices. Many kind of pasties, breakfast buffet, yogurt, fresh fruits, egg and omelette, etc... Wow!
Will be back next time we visit Ithaca!

My mom and I were in town for the weekend and we stopped in for breakfast. I ordered a sandwich and she got some eggs and toast. Food didn't take long to arrive but when it did my sandwich was ice cold with a solid frozen lump of pulled pork, and her eggs were room temperature and the toast had no butter or jelly or anything that typically comes with a side of toast. I took my sandwich back to get reheated and the cashier, who had been giving us an attitude the entire time up until then, told me she would have to remake it. When she brought it out again it was completely burned with the cheese stuck to the bread in a solid mass. My mom tried to get some toppings for her toast but nobody she asked had any idea where to get them. It's disappointing after seeing the great reviews but I ended up needing to get breakfast elsewhere.

Ordered the wrong item by mistake. By the time I realized it was done. The owners gave me the order I wanted with no additional charge! She rocks! And it was delicious! But they do need a more systematic floor organization and order system.

Brave the crowd of unkempt beatniks and hipsters - it'll be worth it! Really good selection of sandwiches and the breakfast buffet is unrivaled. They have something for whatever dietary restrictions you have, or whatever recent food fad that makes your friends roll their eyes whenever you order. It's a staple of the City and some darn good food!

This is the downtown version of CTB in Collegetown. This is the one the locals eat at. Great place, fresh food, wholesome ingredients, fresh baked breads, bagels, mini bar inside, outside seating, great desserts, usually busy, wait time is 15min or less. Especially good coffee.

Good place for a made to order (at counter) bagel sandwich, coffee, pastry, breakfast, lunch place. Not cheap. Great bagels and made to order warm sandwiches! This location is super busy during peak times-weekdays and during farmers market rush! It is right on. Route 13 so parking is side street and not easy. Great place to take time and visit for coffee, tea, smoothie and sandwich. Copies of the NY times ate available for sale alomg with the free newspapers.

There are no words to describe how amazing Ithaca Bakery is! They are my go-to bakery for all occasions because they are so easy to work with and their beautiful creations always exceed my expectations. Their COVID-19 precautions make me and my family and team feel as safe as possible, and I cannot thank them enough for all that they do for our community!

I stop here every single time I'm in Ithaca without fail. Bagels are the best in New York that I've had and they have a bevy of othe menu options. Get a quad shot special and a San Diego bagel and you won't be disappointed!

The other negative reviews could be negative Nancy's who've probably never worked the service industry.

Expensive but best bagels in Ithaca by far. Great breads too. Baked goods are A+ and the sandwiches are delicious but very pricey. Coffee is OK but nothing spectacular. You have to come here to get the full Ithaca experience!

My friend from ithaca took me here and I absolutely love the food and feel of location. Bakery with beer is too op and they often hold events such as a summertime BBQ with live music in July. Well done

Excellent selection of coffee drinks, sandwiches, paninis, breakfast and so on! They even have beer on tap and a mini buffet. It s really a unique little joint with a coffee shop vibe. Nice seating indoors and out and they have their own parking lot which can be difficult to find downtown.
My cousin stops here every time she comes to visit and you should too!

We love this bakery! I grew-up in the greater Ithaca area, and a family emergency brought me back with my niece. We stopped for some treats to share; as an eleven year old, she loved the staff and all the treats.

The food is fantastic. It is on the pricier side, which is okay because it is absolutely delicious, but honestly for as nice as the bakery is, their bathroom is one of the worst I've ever used. It's dirty, outdated and smells like a portapotty. Otherwise, the people are nice, the food is good and we left with dessert and some bread.

I loved the vibe of the place, it is close by to the university. I had the veggie sandwiches which were delicious and the coffee was amazing. I would definitely recommend to have a bite for anyone visiting the city

Ordered online, and came to pick it up 30 min later at the assigned time. Had to wait an ADDITIONAL 45 min for food to be ready (a croissant with avocado and a veggie burger). Ithaca bakery is extremely disorganized, they have a lot of employees but this doesn't seem to help. I was hoping after the total 1.15 hr wait, that the food would at least be a redeeming quality, but that was not the case. Took two bites, threw it out, and on my way to a different breakfast place now.

Hands down, the best place for lunch. Just finished hiking at Taughannnock Falls and stopped here after for lunch and it was so worth the short drive! The customer service was fantastic from start to finish and the food was delicious. I got the Laura s Sweet Surprise and the combination of flavors were perfect. My friend got a blueberry muffin, a baby vanilla cheesecake, and the Autum Sky sandwich and she loved everything! Hope you get the chance to enjoy this wonderful place and check out all the local goodies they sell inside!

Simply astounding, the offerings, the quality, the flavors, the energy, the people, the atmosphere, the lighting, the playlists. Blows away any of the hundreds of cafes/bakeries I've been to.

They have a wide variety of options when it comes to food and drinks. For example you can eat pretty much breakfast lunch and dinner there if you wanted. Most of the food is sandwiches (it is a bakery after all) but you can by cakes, cookies, and pastries as well. They offer a small buffet option if that's something you're looking for as well as beer, tea, and coffee. To the best of my knowledge they do not sell fountain drinks. Prices aren't that bad all things considered.
