ITC Welcomgroup Rajputana Sheraton, Jaipur Review

Well-appointed rooms, courteous staff and amazing food spread...worth a visit.

The service offered by the staff is really like being pampered at home by family. The F&B department is the best that I have experienced, it beats any so called speciality resturant hands down including the highly over rated locally popular Niros and Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar.

I felt both Niros and Laxmi Mishthan restaurants are ridiculously over rated and over priced where as Rajputana had excellent food and service and brilliantly priced with large serving portions and reasonably priced despite being a five star.

Met the chief chef of Rajputana who was carrying a food thermometer like a pen. I was amazed to see the amount of care they take to get it just right. At any point if u don't like something u ordered they change it without any fuss or further questions, which I thought was brilliant.

As every ITC Hotel it's truly a A Luxury Collection, The food is great, The accommodation is very luxurious, The staff is friendly and helpful and the Infrastructure is what makes it really subtle and elegant.

Seemed a bit weird walking so much to the rooms through empty corridors and despite clear direction to shift me to another room the girl at the reception lied saying my stuff wasn't packed so they couldn't move it wat a joke , most of the staff at reception are trainees so they take so long and ask you so many times the same thing and donot follow directions. So overall I will not go back again if I am in Jaipur, I had a tight schedule for a flight and they couldn't even help me to send out a courier even when we gave complete information and asked for cash money to do it...very irritating conversation with Yatin and some random lady who was all the more irritating I think she was the floor manager in a saree...very bad experience with my NY colleagues and myself...only saviour was the concierge chap Manoj I think, rest were pretty stupid!

One of the best Lobby in Luxury hotels of Jaipur. Main entry is bit of irritation, inside is all super cool.

One of the best places for Indian food. The Raan in particular is mind blowing. The daal pukhara and the kebab platter are usually phenomenal. They serve hoegaarden as well. You might want to ask them to serve the beer in a chilled glass along with an orange peel at the bottom of the glass.

Experiences make memories. Extraordinary experiences makes incredible memories that are etched for a lifetime and only few extraordinary people create such experiences!! Rooms of this hotel are very gorgeous, neat and clean rooms,bathrooms makes your stay much better.

Mr Dhruv was outstanding at front desk. From our check in to check out. He did amazing work. Right from the check in to send off every moment was made special. Your flawless execution was commendable.

Mr Sujit at restaurant was super awesome. I envisioned a dream that i put forth to you and you made that dream come true by implementing it with such perfection. From breakfast to dinner at Peshawari everything was nicely managed by Mr. Sujit. Very cooperative person. Your smile never faded even a single time i came up to you and readily agreed to complete my needs. Food is the soul and the basis of all happiness and you gave that to us!!

Knowledge of Mr Mahipal at concierge was just outstanding. We were at Jaipur for 4 days and each day s itinerary was very nicely planned by Mr. Mahipal. At which place we should go, at which place we should go for lunch or dinner. He explained us each and every places of jaipur very well. I don t know if he was not there, it could have been almost impossible for me to cover up all this historical places and food places in this short time.

Kudos to the whole team of Itc for making our stay much memorable. Long way to go!!

Rooms are large in space, interior is awesome,...good food ...near to bus stand and railway station...

It was such a excellent experience . It feels great when you entered here . The staff was very polite and humble . Place was so beautiful and so clean . Tried Royal Rajasthani thal which served in a silver thal with silver fork and spoon and everything in it was so lip smacking . It was so big that we couldn't even finish it . But everything was over the top . A must visit place . Highly recommend . Love for ITC Rajputana .

Thanks to Yatin who saved the day otherwise front-desk was hell bent on ruining it.

1. Front desk said they do not accept Aadhaar as ID proofs but PAN is fine!! Really?
2. Bluetooth speakers are not allowed in the hotel, keep it in your car or keep it with the reception. This is the first time it has happened to me!
3. Without asking, we were given 2 smoking rooms with unbearable smell of smoke. A family travelling with 2 ladies given 2 smoking rooms without being asked by an ITC hotel. I would say it's a blunder. Yatin was more than kind to give us complimentary coffee and an upgrade one one of the rooms as an apology.
4. Breakfast at Jal mahal: Better you have breakfast at a street food joint rather than at Jal Mahal. It was nothing short of fish market. Tables with seating capacity of 6 or 8 were vacant but not given to us for no reason (a family of 4 adults, 1 kid). Not even one butler came to us to ask for any tea/coffee/live station order. We had much much better experience at Marriott and Radisson.
5. Wifi is paid if you do not book from hotel's website. Charging Rs. 300 on an 8500/day room is an eye sore.
6. Elevators are too far away from the lobby for elderly.
7. Front desk doesn't take pains to tell you about the property and various facilities. There is no easy map about the property. Most likely you would come back without knowing about the Spa, gym etc.
8. Some basic channels like STAR PLUS were missing.
9. Called housekeeping for a malfunctioning kettle but no-one picked up.

Things that saved the day:
1. Grandest lobby
2. Yatin from the hotel staff
3. Property interiors and amenities in the room
4. Central location

I just loved the hospitality and facilities available there..

Amazingly designed 5 star hotel and well maintained too...gives you a feel of staying in a real palace... Great food spread in sheesh mahal restaurant and very good in room services....indoor games are available and outdoor plat area is available for kids...they have a kids pool and an adult pool...nice seating arrangements around the pool...everyday evening cultural programme is available which is really good ....but above all the staff are really courteous, pleasant and prompt which is a very pleasing experience must visit for a luxurious stay

Rajputana Shereton Hotel by ITC Group is a very elegant place for luxury stay. It has a very good essence of Rajasthani Culture. The place is located in quite busy area but Internal environment is totally detached from surroundings. So, quite good for luxury stay.

ITC Rajputana functions on the principles of royalty and hospitality. They sure know how to keep their guests happy.

We spent our weekend here and the entire team went out of their way to make it a memorable stay for us.

The buffet experience at Jal Mahal was made even better with the amazing staff, specially Thakur ji. It felt like he was hosting us personally. The entire dining experience was marvelous.

Great place to be in for a family break. Amazing hospitality. Inspite of all constraints the hotel team made all the possible arrangements with keeping hygiene and precautions as prime concern. Rooms are old charm design but fresh. Lobby was grand and luxurious. Signature restaurants with one of all time favorite dish Dal Bukhara for dinner. Highly recommend the place.
