Currently it risks closing after the infamous SAGA...

Currently it risks closing after the infamous SAGA management and the crazy expenses for the board of directors and to keep Ryanair with its routes (it costs annually more than 100 euros to Abruzzo to maintain the Ryanair routes) ... having said this the airport it has been renovated but the lobby is still small because it is long and narrow, few shops open only seasonally, the bar and newsstand are passable, parking is expensive after half an hour, connections with non-existent public transport after a certain time, you can only rent a car. The policy of regional subsidies must be strengthened and reviewed, focusing on advertising, agreements with other air carriers and the expansion of services within, especially for tourists from outside who would be happy to use them.

Every time I leave from this airport I never have problems. Given the size, both boarding and check-in are quick. The parking works with a timed ticket that marks the payment as soon as it exceeds 15 minutes.
There are typical shops in Abruzzo passed the check in.

Airport of a dirty that more dirty is difficult, waiting room departure and unpresentable bathrooms! A plant, some extra light and decent bar would make this place at least acceptable !!
Bar hot table from film of terror for rudeness and hygiene
I counted more than 8 security guards to departures were not even in Milan!
(contract)
Less guards and more cleaning and courtesy!
Poor Abruzzo

Abruzzo Airport ... A great name for a mediocre airport at the limits of decorum. It seems to be in a dilapidated warehouse. Untreated and no bias of natural beauty (absent posters or interactive screens ... Present a small, empty and dusty case) ... sterile walls, no duty free, and no kind of minimal modern innovation (electrical outlets, music, etc.). It seems to be in a post office during rush hour rather than in the only airport in Abruzzo ...

Very small airport, always delays which is frustrating as there is little seating and no duty free. The staff are very rude and dismissive, and we always seem to get extra checks whenever we fly using the airport. We avoid is as much as possible.

Well-stocked airport, near a shopping center and with public transport (bus) with the stop directly outside the airport entrance.
Well-stocked parking, availability of cars for rent from the best companies, spotless toilets.

Very basic rural old style regional airport. Walk to pane, no duty free, hardly any services...BUT ... arrival at the airport can be done 45 minutes to flight... parking easy and inexpensive, mall next door provides food option and take out to the flight.

It has large opportunities to improve.
Despite the renovation work, there beams are bad, almost crumbling.
Parking system works in fits and starts. Connections to and from scarce and inefficient airport.
Is there a cult area, Disabled friendly area and a little bar quite sad.
Restaurant on the first floor and conference room.

The ugliest airport I've ever seen, staff don't speak English and very rude. Nowhere do they accept credit cards (out of laziness). Very small and uncomfortable departure hall, 190 passengers in this small room. Very bad

Airport staff rude, not recommended. Unfortunately not a good experience as the staff did not want to talk to me and I could not fly with my plane, even though I had no luggage and was already checked in online.

Small but efficient airport with numerous Italian and European connections. It should be treated more in aesthetics, the walls should be repainted and the bar should be improved. The waiting room in the departure area should be enlarged and provided with more seats. The shops are closed at certain times. Good restaurant upstairs. The first 20 minutes of parking in the large parking lot are free! Overall excellent airport, a few km from the city center, well connected by taxi and city buses.

The flights are now there. Passengers are on the rise. Too bad for everything else: bad services, toilets to avoid for dirt and lack of everything, reports and updates on non-existent flights. Perhaps too many staff, employees and law enforcement and customs, better to have less but polite, welcoming and coping. It is necessary that the staff gentlemen in general travel a bit to see how an airport works and how it behaves. I have been traveling for over 20 years every week and very often also from Pescara, since I live here. Honestly, it is very difficult to find a worse airport in the world. Yet enough of the goodwill of the people directly involved to change. But that's exactly what is missing, unfortunately.

I can finally say that it is a pleasure to start from Pescara. After the modernization interventions, the airport is more welcoming and with many more services (especially after security checks). All the procedures - check and boarding - took place in peace and speed.
We hope to add new destinations!

Comfortable environment, sufficient bars, as well as sanitary facilities, normal checks, peaceful atmosphere. They held back a liter of oil that I could not embark in the hold (only one is allowed) and they returned it to me after a week. Kindness possible only in a small airport.

This airport isn't open to all airlines and is only open to certain international flights at certain times in the year , which means if your trying to catch a flight to Pescara you'll be unable to, closest airport is about 2 hrs away in Rome

Total absence of queue management planning (despite being 10 daily flights): the classic belt separators would be enough (laughable investment and impact on very high travel stress).

Law enforcement officers always present but often chatting with each other behind a parapet
Lack of information in English (flights to London Frankfurt Brussels): staff must travel the whole line (often creative thanks to the usual cunning) to "skim" passengers for the next flight.

In short, a lot to do and ... with few investments ... we hope well

After the restyling and extension work, the airport finally presents itself in a clean, dynamic and welcoming look. I really hope that the new commercial and refreshment spaces will come alive as soon as possible, and that new companies will establish their base in Pescara. Some small suggestions to continue to grow this vital infrastructure: (1) Speed up boarding and security checks by installing (i) self-service check-in (eg Bergamo, Rotterdam or Eindhoven airports) and (ii) automatic turnstiles equipped with an optical boarding card reader before checks; (iii) increase airport revenues and passenger experience by equipping passengers who choose to park at the airport for priority check-in. The new departure and arrival areas are much more beautiful and airy. We continue like this, but with humility and dedication!

This is a small airport but it works just fine. If your plane is delayed there is not much til do. After passing through security there are NO shops and only limited places to sit. All the major Car rentals companies are here the airport is close the motorway

The only airport in Abruzzo open to the public, it is currently served by a few airlines. It appears to be lacking in services such as shops and waiting rooms for passengers (those present are not sufficiently large with respect to the number of passengers). The ongoing renovation work is partly improving the situation. The positive side lies in the absolute ease of movement inside the airport: it is quite intuitive to find what you are looking for.

Very small airport. Once past the hand baggage check, you find yourself in a waiting room not suited to the number of passengers (many people are forced to sit on the ground, so as not to wait two hours before standing on the plane) . In this room, you can find several shops, but all closed (empty, with a simple sign at the entrance announcing "the imminent opening"). Only one bathroom in the whole room, which appears to be "out of order", with a nice bench that blocks the entrance (in order to prevent someone from entering anyway). Only one bar, which is not always accessible. No screen (as well as no staff member) indicating the time or at least the gate number (despite a voice inviting passengers to go to "gate # 2"). Total absence of air conditioning. The only positive note: the airport is generally quite clean.

Very small airport, but this is not the problem: once the checks are done you find yourself in a room with no video or panels indicating exit gates. Friendly staff inside, but luggage is not very attentive. They returned the stroller with grease on arrival. In Cagliari we have confirmed that the responsibility lies with those who stowed it in Pescara. Very bad way of working

The only advantage of this airport is that ... it ...

The only advantage of this airport is that ... it is and that thanks to it you can directly reach Pescara. The building itself is such a larger station P. K. S. Toilets overflowing. Maybe two eateries. A few car rental stations, a chapel and ... so much. From the main exit there are marked colorful lines that lead us to the bus stop (beware, stop in the direction of Pescara is on the opposite side of the street ... directly to the city go 8 and 38 - note on timetables that show the departure times of buses from the initial stops. also note that the fact that "hangs" the schedule of a bus does not mean that it leaves from this stop - it is important whether the number of the given line is stuck at the bus stop and then if there is a schedule .. ot Italy ) and parking lots cars. The whole makes the impression of a great makeshift And it's better not to plan a longer sitting there because the air conditioning once works and once not and at 35 degrees outside the inside is like a sauna . After check-in waiting for us 2 waiting rooms and 2 vending machines with drinks and probably 2 bathrooms which are not in God's mind to serve the passengers of one plane. (The first time in my life I met the queue to the men's toilet ... shock cultural ) Next to the airport is Auchan which has cafes and stores and toilets and air conditioning .. ..

Staff are often rude and there's usually a shortness of them. The last time we flew from Pescara; the check in desk closed 10 minutes early (and there was 0 staff present at the desks), unbelievable to say the least... We would have almost missed or not able to check in our bags if it wasn't for this one poor lady whom we managed to hunt down in the mist of panic. This should never happen and added much stress to your already stressful Ryanair experience.

Absolutely poor organization especially for passen...

Absolutely poor organization especially for passenger handling at arrivals. Practically in single file under the sun, escorted sideways by the police on the red-hot airport apron at 50 degrees, they made us walk all the way to the end of the terminal to detect body temperatures.
A question arises spontaneously: "Who is that genius to say the least, who had such a thought?"
First of all, corridors can be made internally separated by belts that can contain 160/200 passengers and then always arrive entirely at the last room with the thermal imaging camera and then the exit.
It is a question of respect, an unclear concept for those who have had the idea and have not tried this nice and welcoming path, (even under the storms) of the past rounds.
If the situation continues, I will raise a case, giving national relevance to the media.

Pescara Airport: Currently a disgusting national and international airport.
The place is left in absolute neglect.
Departure and arrival indicators not working.
Toilet worse than styes. Non-existent air conditioning. More of a nightmare than a horror movie. Score 2-- (if not zero).
Even in the worst of African airports it is not worse than this.
NOT TO BE ADVISED.

Sad and desolate airport. Not a competent information officer. Check in compulsorily online otherwise you pay 50 euros more to do it at the airport (we are a bit lazy it seems). I am used to going to the airport 1 hour and 30 before but there was no living soul. Food we leave alone. Well done.

A small airport very bad. When I arrived I was at the passport control for 30 minutes ... they were moving extremely slowly. When he left, they kept asking me if I had more than 10,000 euros in cash in Italian because they had no idea about English. The airport is smaller than the train station. It is located in the city which is rare in Europe. Just outside you can take bus 8 or 38 that take you to the central fisherman. They come every 20 minutes. A ticket costs 1.5 euros and is valid for 90 minutes. Of course, at the airport almost everything is closed on weekends. It's a bit modernized but I'm sorry about the space ... well, I'm slow and a few races here. There is no duty free.

Always the same airport, nothing changed since last time I flew (about 1 year and a half).
No air-conditioning, toilet poorly distributed, long queue standing by one in the hope incivility will not prevail and people with just one have luggage can get theirs into the compartments above the head.

Wi-fi zone that is not free, when in the major European airports you always get 60 mins for free.
