Two stars because it's time to renew and grow!
The airport in the region classified as one of the 10 places in the world where people live better (according to Forbes), is a unique comfort but it lacks innovation and now appears dated and poor in maintenance ... and some new connection would not be bad!
We hope something is done about it ...

In short ... I am satisfied also because it is the only airport in the region. Small but basically you go a bit everywhere. The main hall is narrow and there are few services. Outdoor parking is very expensive.

If it were not for Ryanair, we would be cut off ... it would be desirable to increase domestic flights and improve the quality of waiting areas with open stores selling products that can be loaded in carry-on baggage. Bar closed in the evening hours.

The airport of Pescara has been the vacation destination for my children for years.
But it is a pity to see the state of neglect and the inefficient maintenance, which goes on in time, the first air terminal in Abruzzo.
The only positive note to recommend to all is the attached restaurant "Concorde" in the shape of a nacelle overlooking the runway, (on the first floor) where you can eat fish and pizza at reasonable prices served by friendly and professional staff.

It was necessary to renew the gate area.
For now 3star for commitment, we hope continue.

Disgusting airport. Ryanair staff are basically thieves aided by security staff. They will allow some people to go through with all the extra unpaid bags they want and others they will make them waste time and pay extra ridiculous fees. I paid priority plus yet that's just an illusion. Absolutely disgusted with these people. Rome is far but such a better service.

There will be one person at the check in kiosk for a plane of 200 people. ONLY ONE.

The plane never leaves on time. If you arrive late and you rely on bus or train in the other country you will most likely loose them if you get on a late flight.

Bare staircase but with efficient and varied Rentalcars service. Too bad it's only present at the airport and not at the train station !!!

I would like to let the administration know that people need oxygen and temperatures below 100 degrees to live and therefore to adapt their waiting room to the gates because obviously it is not an environment suitable for any form of human life for more than 10 consecutive minutes. Thank you.

Yesterday afternoon, about 14.30, I was at your airport and headed towards the Gate of my flight.
I usually use the Abruzzo airport, especially to do this route.
At the security checks I was stopped by one of the security guards and, very arrogantly, he asked me for the contents of the bag and to open it later. I explain that there is a photographic tripod and various equipment, and I show The content. At the sight of the tripod (the same tripod that travels with me in the cabin for 5 years from any European country, the same tripod that had already climbed into the cabin with me from Pescara at least another 2 or 3 times, the same I had with me cabin 5 days before the first leg with the same airline.) I ask for explanations and the only ones that are given to me are: it is a bat, it cannot jump. In addition, two sheets printed on the wall are shown to me without any official logo or trademark. Where objects are shown that cannot be carried in the cabin.
I read, I can't find a name in the list to associate with my object and I point it out but I am immediately warned that the reference item is bat.
At this point I try to explain that the object is not a club but a work tool bought exactly from that material and those dimensions to be admitted to the travel cabin. (I am also asked the problem of the weight of the object but given that the camera I was wearing around the neck weighs 3 times the tripod and would have gone up with me in the cabin also this was a point that I was not clear at all.)
But, even though in my eyes it seemed uncertain, with an arrogant tone it repeats that it does not interest her and that the tripod cannot go up.
Her superior intervenes, she probably also noticed the arrogance of her colleague and with more education we try to talk to her.

In any case I ask for the names of the people with whom I spoke and not only none of the names were phonitomi ("justifying with: I do not give it my name!") And they were so polite to cover also the cartelllino.

But I think you can go back to the name of the security guards checking who was on duty on the Pescara-Brussels flight of 15.20 on 5/05. In case you still have doubts, I filmed who was there, the only way to protect myself.
Nothing, there's nothing to do. No further checks are made, only closed doors.
My only luck is that I can still make a call.

I have been traveling for so many years, and have never, ever, ever received similar treatment.
I love Abruzzo and every time I try to give my contribution using our airport as often as possible.
I hope you will take serious measures also because it is a prevention to avoid other fools with photographers who come from all over the world to our land.
For now, I will limit myself to never using Abruzzo airport again and I will advise everyone to do the same.

Airport Service doesn't speak English And they're always upset. There is only a cafe that it is open till 8 pm.

Most terrible airport experience i have ever had. Ac doesn't work, very unfriendly staff, wrong information and above all very dirty. Would rather drive home 16 hours than take another plane from this disasterous place.

Sparsely organized, two hours before the flight the baggage boarding is closed and with people already in the queue. There is only one bar in the airport, so you have to settle for what it offers. Wanting close to the airport there is a shopping center where I recommend spending time since there are no shops and even a newsstand in the place reviewed. Once past the gate two rooms where crowded expect the flight, no air conditioning (in summer I leave you imagine the conditions) and two distributors to buy something. The staff in all this is not the nicest, especially at the bar.

Small airport but fine for its function. To better accommodate the tourists, it would be a bit updated and the seats would be made.

The bar point is very poor. There are 4 unkind employees whose cashier eats in front of customers and when asked about the price to be paid he indicates it with his finger, the bartender while talking to him crap with the phone .... No air conditioning as today, gents toilets not properly working, unable to connect to wifi with email address, no souvenirs shop, no sockets to charge your phone. It clearly needs improvement.

Probably one of the worst Italian airports. No air conditioning, no shops, just a small (bad) cafe. 2 stars just because at least it actually does what an airport is supposed to do, but nothing more.

Facilities are ok for General Aviation, AVGas available, taxes are a bit expensive in my opinion.

I went to pick up some relatives, parking outside on the SR5, there are several non-paying places, pay attention to the 30 km / h limit.

Small regional airport, good free Wi-Fi, scarce supply of shops and refreshment points.

Indispensable small hub of connection with internal and foreign routes of mainly tourist interest, with a discrete prospect of further development in the coming years, both in terms of routes and in relation to carriers. Careful organization of airport spaces, good level of safety and comfort for passengers.

Recently, a stopover with some dignity has been recently renewed. The possibility of having a coffee after the security checks and less the feeling of leaving a region of Serie B.

Very old and bad airport. Security went very quickly and staff is friendly, but that's about it. Hardly any ads so that you have little information about your flight. Very slow WiFi and no food options behind the security. Unclear announcements and otherwise poor organization. The problem: there is no other airport nearby.

Abruzzo Airport is (finally) undergoing a major renovation and expansion: the terminal has now a new, larger Arrivals Hall (opened in 11/2018), a beautiful and larger Departures Hall (opened in 01/2019) with shops, cefe' and 2 brand new gates. The terminal offers also a Business Room, a commercial area and a more interesting network of destinations. There is room for improvement but people need to understand that regional airports simply don't have the resources to do miracles. Abruzzo Airport is growing, slowly but still, and its terminal already looks much better than it did few months ago. I recommend the management to install self-service check in desks and boarding pass readers to make operations more efficient and favour the new shopping centre in the gates' area.

Small but nice airport that can be approached cheaply

No information system on flight status, no information on delay given by any mean. Small duty-free zone so coming to the security check two hours before flight may result in being send back with request to return after 30-40 minutes.

Since the last time it has improved a lot, the connection to Turin with Blue Air has returned, Ryanair has added flights to Krakow and Copenhagen and a flight to Tirana with Mistral air. The Wizz Air connection to Bucharest is going very well ... However, the structure remains poorly maintained and the bar is not the best. It could easily be the third airport of Rome but nothing is done to improve.

Comfortable regional airport, perfect for those who want to travel to the beautiful regions of Abruzzo, Molise, Marche and Northern Apulia with several connections to UK, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Malta, Poland, Czechia, Romania and the rest of Italy. The refurbishment of the terminal is almost complete and soon new cafeterias and shops will open also in the Gates' area. The airport has improved a lot in the last years, but I encourage the management to: (i) seek new connections to Northern Europe; (ii) provide the toilets with facilities to change babies; (iii) establish a priority lane for security controls which may be assigned to passengers arriving at least 2h before their flight; (iv) refurbish the toilets in the Arrivals Hall and next to the main bar; (v) improve bus and train connections between the airport and the rest of its catchment area (e.g. Molise and internal Abruzzo). In any case, a great choice for those who want to travel to/from central Italy!

A tiny airport in beautiful Abruzzo. Service and information is nice and speaks english well. The worst, however, I have the impression of staying in the duty-free zone. Apart from a drinks machine (which worked so badly), there was no shop or open cafe. The information boards were not working, the information provided by the speaker was very quiet and one bathroom was broken. The waiting room is small and when there are a minimum of two flights it gets very crowded. On the plus side of the airport (which is practically in the city) and the nearby Auchan shopping center.

Without infamy and without praise, logically not being a "Linate" one cannot expect more, small, well organized and above all convenient for central Italy on the Adriatic side

Everything you need for a small to medium sized airport

Pescara Airport a ***. That's called "Abruzzo Airport". I do not say it for my parochialism, what do you want me to care for, but to make people understand how ridiculous is that of the people of Pescara, who take possession of anything for the subconscious complex of inferiority from parvenu. No controversy, just a simple fact.

No or very bad information about delay flight. Ryanair did send me a message. Not very friendly employees with poor knowledge of the English language. A lot to learn. :)

The worst airport, that i've ever seen. Here is no duty free, here is warm enought but stuff is friendly. If you want to flight cheap, I'l recomend it. If you need more convenience, find another airport

A true ..... m to the output of two car park barriers are planted on four. The call for help has no effect .... back off and the machine inside the airport x pay (now twenty free minutes had expired) rejects the ticket .... and once again the call for help not it gives no result !!! In all, I say everything, the airport there is not a single monitor dedicated to departures and you have to resort to word of mouth. They must sink.

Nice little airport near the city. Urban transport is very well arranged. You can also buy the city ticket from the bus driver.

We have used this airport up to 6 times a year over the past 10 years and in that time there have been many changes the latest of which is a very spectacular refurbishment of the departure complete new bar and duty free shop (of kinds) all very well done and now a excellent environment, air con needs a bit to be desired. It let's itself down completely on the organisation to get through security. On our last visit, this week, there were 4 flights posted the 1st was to Milan, 2nd to Stansted, 3rd to Krakow & 4th to Bergamo. They were scheduled with at least an hour difference. When we arrived, in plenty of time, there was a massive queue to get through security, there are only 2 channels and everyone was in the same queue, that was obviously moving very slowly, if we had not persisted and sought help we were in danger of missing our flight to London. They really need to prioritise the queue through security to allow passengers through in order of their flight times. It is a real shame as the improvements to the airport structure are really good.

Very simple airport. I can t over stress that. Looks like a ghost town. People are not very helpful or in a rush.

Little to no services. Very limited foods.

Pro: You can go from the door of the airport to your airplane in less than 45 min.

A city like Pescara cannot miss a route that connects a Sicilian city, like many other routes that bring a little tourism to Abruzzo, a land full of surprises, very often unknown even by Italians.

Airport of the beautiful town of Pescara, with many services is a pizzeria that cooks a very good pizza. I found work in progress that will definitely improve the structure. Overall the flight experience is good. Direct flights are available with England, Holland, Germany, Spain, etc.
