I was there when Tiffany Couch was an expert witness. Her client lost on every single claim that she was hired to prove. She charged her client over $40,000 to try and ruin my reputation and show that I was "stealing money from my company." When the data didn't support the accusations, she continued to charge her client, going so far as to recalculate every mile I drove for 3+ years to try to prove inflated mileage claims. She is an unethical person and instead of telling her client the truth (there was no money stolen from the company), she fed his paranoia and made a fortune. It is true that I tried to hire her as well because I naively thought if we could review the books with her as a neutral party, then maybe she could convince her paranoid client there was nothing sketchy going on. Instead, she exploited her client and it cost my family a greater price than can be imagined and she walked away a richer woman.

Tiffany Couch was hired by my brother to show that I was a dishonest bookkeeper. He paid Acuity Forensics tens of thousands of dollars to create bogus accounting reports because there was no evidence of his claims. My brother also paid her ($425/hr) to testify on his behalf which she did very poorly and showed she doesn't care about integrity as long as she gets paid. It frustrates me to no end that this woman encouraged my brother to pursue something that wasn't there, only so she could benefit financially from his stupidity. In the end her testimony was a joke and he lost the case as well as the money that he paid her. But she still got paid so she won.
