They called me for the prerovation for a cataract surgery, only realizing now that an examination had been performed, at the time of the first visit, a year and a half ago.
They had the courage to blame all this for the state that causes such long waits, when it was enough to look at the medical record before setting the appointment for the prerovero.
Not even I was asked to do the examination (a bulbous ultrasound so nothing transcendental) during the prerovark but they preferred to cancel everything.

They told him to be fasting since midnight before, for water and food: it's still 15:30 and you do not know when they will operate it. Try to stay without drinking for 15 hours. Most hospitals say 4 hours, some have gone to just one hour.

The nurses are brusque and rude. Nobody prepared us for what would happen or gave us updates during the long hours before the surgery. A person arrives anxious about what can happen during the operation and for them you are only a number. Your name screams here and there as if you were a sheep or a cow. Other than feeling welcomed and helped ... this is the people who must think about your health ???

We have not seen any of the surgical team all the time, to say "how are you? Do not worry ... we will do the surgery later, etc ..." not a sign of respect. We felt completely devalued. Not people but numbers.

Plus there is no soap in the bathrooms. And there is no disinfectant gel in the special containers in the common areas: I tried four and did not leave a drop!

I underwent two orthopedic surgeries in a year: my experience is completely positive, Humanitas is a hospital with good organization in welcoming patients starting from pre-operative examinations, and also at the time of surgery in day-surgery, my surgeon's expertise has allowed everything to run smoothly. Discharged after three hours of observation, with many tips, I felt comfortable. The day after the surgery I was contacted by the orthopedics department: they asked me if everything went well. In the following period, having to make dressings, I also found efficiency at the counters, now speeded up by a Self area. I can certainly recommend relying on Humanitas for orthopedic problems! Negative is the waiting list, I waited over a year!
