Went there for a meeting. Great ambiance. Great service
Bar Review Only -- Came here at about 10:30PM on a Wednesday night and it was pretty empty except one medium-sized group of people which didn't seem to like to move out of the way for others; anyways, great bar with a large selection. Good atmosphere, and probably one of the higher-end establishments in the area.
We ordered a Statesmen ($11) and a Korbel Whiskey Old Fashioned Sweet ($11) and they were delicious, but $11/ea delicious; so was the cheeseboard ($14)--which comes with 4 different cheeses, 4 toasted bread chips that have the diameter similar to a baseball, honey, and jam. I wouldn't have minded one more toasted piece of bread/chip so I had enough to finish all the cheese.
The only issue really is trying to navigate the horseshoe parking area--there isn't enough room to drive a large-sized vehicle around the loop when all the parking spots are taken. Other than that, I'll be back to try out their food and possibly a stay overnight.
Great place, Too pricey for my taste.
Walking distance to the HD Museum, Potawatomi Casino & some of the best the Latin/ Mexican restaurants in the city are a bonus. Most of the other Milwaukee attractions are a motorcycle/ cab ride away....
The Iron House has turned me into a lover of boutique hotels
Love this place. The bar and restaurant have a great vibe. The food is top notch. The industrial chic decor is done very well. The rooms are dark and comfortable.
My partner and I schedule trips around staying at The Iron Horse Hotel because we enjoy it so much. The service, amenities and design of the rooms are uniquely amazing and worth and stay. Check out the bar and restaurant on the first floor before heading out for the evening!
My husband and i stayed in room 612 we had to be up by 4am we asked for a wakeup call and two people asked us for our information we gave it and they wrote it down 4am wakeup call....that night storms rolled in and i am wakened by water dripping from our ceiling im unable to sleep now and when it finally stopped fricking dripping 4am came along and guess what no wakeup call...we went down to check out and the girl behind counter said she would have the manager call us....guess what no call from him either
We checked in with our two kids. It's a very unique hotel which was nice. Only suggestion is to offer more breakfast inclusive packages because they exist only for single guest visits apparently.
Wasn't thrilled about the beer list or cocktail list. Service was slow. But the cheese curds were quite good. As were the chips.
Great and unique hotel, bar, and dinning place. The smell of leather engulfs you when you walk in the lobby. The raw wood and iron work is a beauty to behold. It's a rugged hardcore feel of days gone by in this place. Well worth spending some time in.
Also check out the art work.
Great brunch on the weekend. Comes with mimosas. The outdoor patio is awesome in the summertime and a great bar inside as well. I've never stayed here but I hear good things about the rooms.
Industrial styling a great representation of old city Milwaukee. Comfortable beds and very conveniently located to the airport and to downtown area.
The outside seating area was a great way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon--live music and drinks!
I've been here for drinks. Very cool lobby and a good spot to relax and meet up with friends.
My husband and I stayed at The Iron Horse Hotel for two nights and we cannot even express how wonderful our stay was. From the second we got there we were welcomed by Juve at the front desk who gave the best recommendations for dinner, drinks and entertainment! The Hotel itself is clean, welcoming, and staff was 100% friendly and professional. The bar and restaurants were great with wonderful food options and even better drinks with a great atmosphere! Service was fast and everyone we came into contact with was just wonderful. We without a doubt will be staying with The Iron Horse Hotel for any of our Milwaukee trips in the future! - To Juve, You made our trip so great! Your kindness, professionalism, and above and beyond service was so appreciated.

Had breakfast here service was great and food was even better!
An amazing place in downtown Milwaukee lots to do and a beautiful Hotel for a nice night out business events. You should defently should stop in and look at The Iron Horse.
Hotel rooms are great. Swanky feel with modern decor. Beautiful tile showers and we love staying in the loft rooms with the exposed beams on the ceilings. New Years party sucks though. A bunch of super pretentious stiffs, crappy dj/mc, nobody dancing. One female bartender was nice and could at least fake having a good time, the others were jaded AF and didn't even want to pretend to be having a good time. Went to Mad Planet at 11:30 and enjoyed the rest of the evening!
The atmosphere can't be beat. Free pool as great drinks!
Pricey, but definitely upscale. Great decorations and the bartenders seem to take pride in their art.
Hotel is clean and fresh and stylish and the room was very comfortable. Our bathroom had a very large stand alone shower and the beauty products were nice.
Part of the roof top has grass growing on it. Best hotel ever
loved the room the view and the staff best place we stayed so far
Was there for drinks and snacks. Nice space, and staff very friendly and helpful, but took about 20 minutes before someone took our order
The hotel is absolutely stunning with its rugged industrial yet classic look. My husband and I had dinner at Smyth which is the restaurant located inside the hotel. Food is the best I've ever had in the whole city of Milwaukee. Hubby had the prime rib, and I had the scallops. Best food I've ever had. Would definitely go again!
Smyth is a fabulous brunch location. Omletes , prime rib and ham slabs, and a never ending supply of bacon. Atmosphere is great and strong excellent cups of strong coffee. Worth the trip.
Service was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Overall excellent dinner. The mandatory 20% gratuity for 6 was a little presumptuous. The service was good, they earned that anyway.
The hotel is nice. 5 stars to this place. Outstanding customer service.
Great rooms, greast staff, funky boutique hotel. Bar serves some solid cocktails, just make sure if you order an old fashioned or Manhattan you specify that you want whiskey or bourbon or you'll likely get brandy.
The Iron Horse Hotel was the highlight of our trip. Our dog was welcomed as one of the family and the "Big Dog Package " was full of gifts for our dog. The bed was reallly comfortable and the room spacious. The staff were amazing and Cathy gave the extra touch by watching our dog while we went out for dinner. Excellent hotel.
Great location, friendly, helpful staff. Casually elegant rooms.
The style and design of the hotel is stunning. The attention to detail does not stop from the lobby, to the rooms, to the outside garden, and food and drink menu. The staff was very accommodating and provided superior attention. Will recommend this hotel to every one I know coming to Milwaukee. Wish this hotel was in every city I traveled to.
Its very cool everyone was extremely nice, rooms were adequate and interesting. Beds were comfortable. Lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance.
The decor was incredible, the rooms were large and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Very nice hotel that is close to lots of craft breweries and distilleries. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay, but I don't think it was quite worth the price.
Outdoor bar/grill/patio with live music. Who doesn't love that?
Wonderful buffet brunch option. Everything tastesd amazing. We had a private event and were situated in the library which was a ton of fun and the perfect space. Highly recommended.
Great atmosphere. The cocktails were a little disappointing.
Wonderful ambiance, delicious food and tasty drinks!
Great staff, love the decor and comfort. We'll definitely be back.
Perfection! Took care of all our requests to make our Bridal party a success! Very accommodating!!
Had Sunday brunch at the Smyth restaurant. Amazing food, but a little pricey.
Hard to find free parking near the hotel. Inside the hotel is nicely decorated. The small conference area in the basement is a little awkward because the support pillars make it hard to see the presenter.
Out of town guest here. Was informed of ridiculous $30 a night fee after I drove 5 hours to get here. How does a hotel not even have a parking lot? I was not even allowed to check in or drop by bags in my room without the valet and hotel staff hounding me for money. I talked to the general manager who straight up lied to me about the parking and didn't care one bit to fix my situation. Definitely avoid this hotel unless you are one of those people that like to waste money to make you feel good about yourself.
It was kool laid back spot the food was good and not very high
We were there for the derby party and it was fine. It was very crowded, there weren't enough bartenders, and the drinks were fairly overpriced. I've been there on "normal" days and it's a great place to hang out. It seems like they overcharge anytime they have a special event.
Loved the Iron Horse Hotel. We stayed overnight for a friend's birthday and everyone was super polite and helpful. We were given free drinks at check in and could even text any questions we had if we needed to. Wonderful room with the best amenities. Would go again.
Iron Horse is a great experience that is uniquely Milwaukee with a heritage and design theme that will leave you wanting more.
Bravo!! Dan and Dan - you guys nailed it with Ash!! Unbelievable food and ambience.
It is a nice, high class atmosphere and good food. I was at an event in what would be the basement but it didn't feel like a basement. I will say that it was cold outside but was very hot in the basement. Staff was really nice and friendly. Car valet was reasonable and responsive.
Was there on June 10 had there scallops they were raw all the way threw very high prices will never go there again
Just checked in, so far it is unbelievable. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The room is awesome.
Comfortable room. Enjoyed the complimentary cocktail at check-in
Very solid food, only issue was that it was rather understaffed and service at the restaurant was very slow.
Seems to be newly renovated. Great atmosphere, very nice rooms, and extremely comfortable bed. Great lobby bar.
Just had dinner on the outdoor patio. Food was great & cheaper than restaurant inside. Only downside they were out of quite a few beers on tap
Very cool property and the room we visited was very nice as well.
The rooms are expensive but everything is very rustic. I enjoyed the scenic inside very much
Been many times. Fantastic experience and dog friendly!
I stay here once a month everytime i come from chicago, i love this hotel, its clean, very friendly staff, covid ready, they are also dog friendly, making it convenient not to leave my dog behind. The rooms and the decor is very unique and attractive as well.
