Wonderful location and beautiful architecture with nice staff. The only BIG downside was that the walls were paper thin (at least in room 607). On both sides we could clearly hear people's conversations when they were speaking at a normal volume as well as their TV's and nighttime activities.

Thanksgiving weekend, we had our wedding at the Iron Horse. The staff went above and beyond. The entire time we were there, they treated us amazingly. Everyone took knew and took great care of us. It was a great experience, and I would highly recommend a stay or event there.

Nicely decorated boutique hotel- rustic chic in Walker's Point. Walk across the bridge and you're at the Harley-Davidson Museum so the hotel is popular with the bikers. Thursday night is bike night! Lovely staff, large rooms.

This app would not let me choose ZERO STARS, which is why they received ONE. Terrible. If you charge $500 per night for a room, the quality of the room and the quality of service should be commensurate with the price. It was not even close. The woman at the desk upon our arrival was distracted and rude; equipment in the room had obvious damage and was not in working order, and when we called the desk, they offered no remedy. Additionally, the bathroom was dirty and was leaking water behind the door and the carpet had tears and loose threads everywhere. There is no way this place will sustain if they continue to offer the low quality of service my family and I received. An embarrassment to Milwaukee. The General Manager should be ashamed.

A historic but modern, highly unique casual hotel, the Iron Horse Hotel offers awesome views of the Milwaukee skyline, rivers and bridges and has edgy, modern rooms and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Located next to the Harley Davidson Museum and a local brewpub, it's just outside the 3rd Ward and in an old industrial area that is being redeveloped. Hotel parking is valet only with in/out privileges though there are other nearby third-party options (valet is recommended). I did not have a chance to try the restaurant or bar - the bar was very busy and lobby was always bustling with activity. Awesome place, friendly staff and clientele - I'd easily stay again and recommend a high floor for the view.

Best hotel ever! The staff are friendly customer service oriented. The amenities are outstanding. The decor is a must-see for everyone. Their brunch is 1 that I have never seen before. The layout the amount of food is absolutely incredible. A must stay at hotel walking distance from the Harley museum. They have to stop for vacation.

The staff and management could not have been more gracious and everyone in the hotel took amazing care of us.
Not only is it one of the coolest hotels to stay in, its run like a casual 5-Star resort.

Thank you SO much.

Bravisimo!

Such a unique atmosphere and really friendly staff. We really enjoyed exploring the neighborhood around the hotel as well. It is pet friendly but didn't notice a trace of pets in our room. We didnt eat here but lounge seemed cool as well. Would definitely stay here again. It was convenient to walk from the train station too!

The patio at the Iron horse is amazing. It is spacious, with an amazing ambience. However, the service was subpar at best. After seating ourselves, 10-15 minutes later a server finally arrived at our table to take our order. This would not have been a big deal,if there wasn't three servers engaged in a personal conversation as we waited. A simple "hello, someone will be with you shortly", would have been a more appropriate way to acknowledge the delay in service. That being said, The Iron Horse still is a great place to take a first time date.

Staff checking in and out were very friendly and perfect but the valets were not. This place must be over rated because the room price is outrageous. For a one night stay of $700.00 I expected more as we ve stayed in a Tacoma hotel for that price and it was 1,000 times more luxurious. Hotel smelled of smoke. And forget getting breakfast, it was horrid. Eggs chewy, sausage I had to spit out, and the fried fingerlings were served at breakfast but seemed like a sweet Asian potato that should be served on a dinner menu. The hotel is in a good location, the bed was comfortable and room had an awesome bench but that s only good things I can say about hotel.

I love everything about this place. The terrace, the decor. It's a comfortable elegance. The good service seems to just come naturally. Hospitality is not accidental. This Hotel delivers it.

I visited the hotel to check out Branded, a restaurant/bar. The service was speedy and the drinks were very good. The drinks seemed a tad overpriced, but comparable to other bars in the area. The atmosphere was inviting dimly lit.

Bartenders were rude. I was waiting for 30 minutes trying to get their attention. They repeatedly serviced other patrons that arrived after me. Other than that, the personal waitress that was with our group was awesome and prompt with everything.

This is always a go-to when I'm in that part of town. Such interesting architecture, fun drinks, great atmosphere. If it's nice out, "the yard" which is their outside bar, is a must. This is also a really neat part of town with lost valley cider, brewing companies like mke and mobcraft, and great lakes dystillery. I would say this is the nicest hotel in Milwaukee, certainly in the top 5.

We attended the Iron Horse Hotel for there Kentucky Derby Event. Parking around the location is typically adequate, including this event, and the location has a very nice lobby and set of bars however service serving drinks was far from adequate for the event. It took 20+ minutes to get a bartender to finally get to us, and another 5 plus minutes to get out very simple order of drinks handled. Yet they thought it smart to have a dedicated person taking up the bar space solely washing glassware by hand, stupid planning for an event of such size.

Attended a wedding here and had a great time. The food was good, they had all the drinks you would want. The servers and bartenders did a great job. The decor of the hotel is different but really cool. I'm not sure how much it all cost but I loved it

The best hotel around the Milwaukee area. Great service from all staff, wonderful food, and even better cocktails. The food and drinks are a little expensive for my taste along with the parking costs. Hotel is located in a good spot too. Easy to jump on the highway regardless of direction. All in all it is a fantastic hotel. I always stay here when I need a hotel around Mileaukee. The staff alone makes it worth stay at.

Attended a professional networking event. Staff at front door was friendly but had to do the awkward dance both going in and out of the doors as they also were trying to enter and exit at same time. Lovely venue and overall enjoyed the event.

From the rooms, to the menu, to the overall atmosphere; this is hands down the best place to stay in Milwaukee. After living in San Francisco for several years, I had been looking for somewhere to hang my hat in my downtime that would be comparable to the establishments in the Bay Area. Needless to say I found it at the Iron Horse Hotel. Whether I have guests in town that are looking for a great experience, or I want to enjoy some outdoor cocktails- I know the Iron Horse will consistently give a great experience. The menu changes often, and while I'm sad to see most dishes go, I love seeing what the chef will come up with next.
