The IP SUCKS. They call their selves a spa. But I visited in early October and the POOL & Jacuzzi were closed for the season. I stayed 3 days every day the temperature was above 85. They need to drop the spa out of the name. And do. A better job letting guest know what will be open and what will be closed at the time of booking

Less expensive and nearly as nice as the Beau Rivage. Rooms are clean and quiet. Could do without smoking, but the filters work well enough. Buffet is worth the price and has good quality food for the area.

Staying here for my bday and absolutely love it! Everyone is so nice and accommodating. The lady who worked at the gift shop(5/19 at 10:00 am) was so pleasant and just had that wonderful southern hospitality! Spa is also so wonderful! We booked a room with a view and the view is incredible! Definitely will be returning again and already planning to come back during the summer with all the kiddos! We are going to try the pool tomorrow!

Update:6.13.20

We came for a relaxing weekend getaway to just get out and enjoy since the covid. We had a really great time! The kiddos enjoyed the pool and we played poker a lil bit; granted it s three per table now so you may have to wait to play. Also the floor supervisors clean thoroughly after ppl get up from playing at the table before another guest sits to play. Very clean and sanitized! They also placed plenty of sanitizer stations all throughout the casino. Everyone was polite and it felt good to get out the house and explore! We plan on returning in a few weeks!

When we checked in an assistant manager assisted us. We had a hotel/spa package. The manager checked us in and said she needed to get something from her office. She disappeared for over 10 minutes until another employee asked if the manager was done. We told her no and that she was supposed to be right back.
The manager never returned. It was very unprofessional. I feel sorry for the other employees that need to work with this assistant manager at check-in.

Dropped off a military friend at Keesler that had surgery done on his eyes and went to the ip afterwards. First time in a casino, put in $100, first bet was $2.50, won $50 off it then it all went downhill from there. 10/10 visit.

Very poor housekeeping. My aunt found a bra in the floor in our room, pubic hairs in the tub and pens and trash in the floor. My cousin in the adjoining room found pretty lacy underwear in his room. I'm concerned of their covid-19 cleanliness. The mattresses were not the best. There is 1 restaurant and 1 sports bar to choose from for food.

The hostesses and chef's attending were excellent and attentive, however the food in fresh and cooked was excellent but the sides were bland and unremarkable. What could be said were lacking were balanced as best could by the attention of staff. Sincerely T-rue!

Had a terrible experience at the IP Biloxi, completely ruined MOTHERS DAY. We're kept awake both nights by staff in the hallway arguing with other guests. The staff were being terrible rude by the way. This place is on need of quality control. And a Fire Marshal inspection, none of the stairwell doors shut and latch on there own. Will never be back

Got a great deal on a room so we decided to stay. We were not impressed with the food at the buffet and the layout of the whole place is quite confusing. But the room was nice and clean and I'm pretty sure that was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on in a hotel.

The IP has a very comfortable Hotel/Casino atmosphere. The availability of "help yourself" coffee stations in the casino is a big plus. You will be pleasently surprised at check in, if ever greeted and served by a "Ms. Joann" . She is so knowledgeable, capable, and willing, that no matter what you need, she makes sure it is "just" what you receive. We look for her every stay. It is Thanksgiving Eve and my sister and I are headed there tonight. (From Orlando/Jacksonville FL) We will enjoy our turkey dinner tomorrow at the delicious Back Bay Buffet.

The spa was very relaxing! My wife and I had a couple s massage. First there was the spa and coconut milk. There was chocolate, juice and music as well. Next up was the massage and the staff did an amazing job and made my wife want to go more often. She had a lot of knots and felt A LOT better afterwards.

Great

My family comes down to Biloxi/Gulfport every year and this is the first time we've stayed at the IP. Firstly, valet is RUDE! Some of the rudest people I've ever encountered. We were there for 7 days and I think we encountered 2 nice, courteous valet attendants. The room was nice for the price, a little outdated compared to other hotels. Room service was SLOW and overpriced. Housekeeping was SO nice every time we called for extra towels, every housekeeping attendant that came to the room was very nice, and all of them were quick! All of the restaurants/cafes in the hotel/casino are extremely overpriced and the food is mediocre at best. Overall, its unlikely we would stay here again.

We absolutely love IP.... every hotel and casinos going to have positives and negative. Theycant make everyone happy, but IP gets Damon close and they make a true effort.
We went there three times, once was during cruising the constants when everyone else wanted $375 for a room, IP comp' d us one.
I love staying at IP.

I stayed at the IP for 2 Nights in a Deluxe Room W...

I stayed at the IP for 2 Nights in a Deluxe Room With a View on the 23rd Floor. The room was sufficient in size. The view of the Bay was OK, although all Bay View rooms also look out towards the parking garage. There was a table and chairs by the window which was nice. The room also had a chaise lounge, although I personally would have preferred a couch or love seat in that space instead. The room included a mini refrigerator, but microwaves were only available by request and for a fee. There was a safe built into the closet in the room.

My main criticism about the room itself has to do with the bathroom. The bathroom itself appeared to have been recently updated (e.g. nice countertops, shower head etc.), but the vent for the bathroom was located below the sink / countertop and adjacent to the bathroom door. With the bathroom door closed (or even partially closed), the vent did a very poor job of removing steam / condensation from the shower. There was a unappealing musty smell in the bathroom, which I imagine is due to the poor bathroom ventilation over a long period of time.

My other room criticism has to do with the nightstand lamps. The lamps have built in outlets to plug in your electronics (e.g. phone charger), but the plugs sit very loosely in the lamp outlets and can easily fall out or be pulled out. I m not sure why they are designed that way (and I have seen the same lamps used at other Boyd properties that I have stayed at).

The casino was sufficient size with ample gambling options. Table minimums ranged from table to table but started at $5 - $10 or so. It wasn t too smoky in the casino which was nice. Slots were pretty tight based on my play, and I didn t have much luck at the tables either (but it s gambling, so anything can happen).

The IP had a number of dining options. Their 24/7 cafe didn t offer takeout orders, but some of the items from the 24/7 cafe menu were on the room service menu. I believe they offered takeout from the sports bar, although the sports bar is not open 24/7. Additionally, I placed an order at the coffee shop only to be told during payment that food credits are accepted at every dining venue except the coffee shop. Food credit could also not be applied towards room service. Not sure why the IP / Boyd are so restrictive with player food credits (which come as a result of casino play). I also wish they did offer takeout orders from the 24/7 cafe.

I attended the Joe Nichols concert in Studio A. Studio A was relatively compact, definitely an intimate experience for a concert. For this concert, they setup chairs in the pit area (which is where I was sitting). The rows of seats were narrow which made it difficult for people to get in / out past others already seated in the row. During the show, some show goers began to populate the aisles in the pit (between the seat clusters that were setup in the pit). By the end of the show, there were also people lined up along the front of the stage (at the front of the pit). I m not sure if the people lined up along the front of the stage were supposed to be there (e.g. were part of a VIP experience), and I m all for people enjoying themselves, but it generally seemed like it turned into a free for all by the end of the concert. I personally didn t appreciate that for a concert that had assigned seating in the pit (if it were a show without any seating in the pit, I would understand).

There were a few bars inside of Studio A which were passed on the way to the seats. The bars were convenient for picking up a drink pre-show (i.e. on the way to your seat). However, there were no drink servers during the show, so if you wanted another drink mid-show, you had to get up and go to the bar to get them. I didn t order any more drinks during the show for that reason.

Overall, I would say the IP is pretty average with room to improve. It s certainly a passable place to stay. My criticisms are mostly things the IP / Boyd could potentially address, with procedural / operational changes, to really enhance the guest / player experience.

I normally don't post comments, but my experience at IP was not a good one with it being my first time staying there. It was my anniversary. We went with another couple(Tiffany Gordon)that's who name the rooms was in. They asked for king size and got double beds, and put us in a king size room which is what we wanted but it was a smoking and it was a handicap room. We took it as long as we could with the smell, so we asked if they had any other king size rooms available they didn't all they had was double beds. I told my husband that is fine as long as we didn't have to smell the smoke the whole night. They accommodated us with 2 free buffet for the inconvenience of not having any more kings size available. I really did enjoy the concert. Chrisette Michele was awesome... It'll probably be my first and last time staying there.. Thanks stayed there the weekend of 2/16-2/18.
