I've never been a fan of the IP, it's not a quality casino like Beau Rivage or the Hard Rock. Being primarily a tall tower hotel the aesthetics are not there, the interior does not look much better lacking any theme to make it stand out, and it lacks the comfortable atmosphere of the more upscale operations the IP attempts to compete against. For a few years the IP had to deal with the stigma of its eccentric owner, Ralph Engelstad, throwing birthday parties for Hitler. The strange man has passed on, but the IP has failed to overcome this stigma and can't redefine itself as a quality casino which could draw in the crowds. You never really hear frequent gamblers talk about winning streaks which illustrates that the casino is taking in more money from its visitors than it is paying out. Taking everything into account from the layout to the lackluster aesthetics and the mediocrity of the food in its buffets and restaurants, the IP is a hole in the wall dive operation trying to play casino. As an Uber Driver I bring people to the casinos frequently except the IP. In over 1300 trips I have driven riders to the IP only twice - what does that tell you?

I have a client of mine that stayed here, and was threaten by a front desk manger Alisha Thompson. To my understanding there was an small issue with his credit card not going through and room charges was made on the account of $300 I understand business I do but threatening to be removed off the property best part was when I heard on recording from Alisha that she said I PERSONALLY alone with security will be to you re room to escort him out. NOT happy with this place! Keep in mind he went down to handle this issue but it was after he went back up was when he was threatened over the phone.

I only stayed the night.. Nothing else. But the room , location,and service were really nice!

The employees were friendly, food was good, but the place did smell completely of smoke.

The buffet at the IP on Thanksgiving was delicious. I went back for two plates of great food and then had two plates of desert. So worth it.

Can only comment on the game floor, after saving for the trip, long drive, and all the suggestions to visit, it didn't live up to it's reputation.

I didn't stay but the $5 blackjack tables are great, as are the dealers!

My wife and i attended the Johnny Lang concert. Had a fantastic time. The staff was courteous and helpful. The acoustics were great. The ease of getting to the studio and seating made an overall great experience. I would recommend the IP to anyone who was thinking of going.

I want to try their noodle bar. The experience was good.

Half the lights in our room didnt work, service was Extrenely slow. As a VIP bconnected member, this place doesnt treat you as such, better spend my money at Samstown!

The hotel was beautiful with lots of nice staff. The rooms were perfect for our purposes.

Smells like cigarettes everywhere even in the non smoking rooms. That made it very unpleasant even though the room itself was nice. Staff is not very polite and sometimes even rude demanding tips for poor service. You'll make yourself a favor if you choose a different place to stay.

Huge clean casino great food places with a big variety of food.

The casino is awesome, probably my favorite in Biloxi. Restaurants are awesome, the only reason I never put 5 stars was because all night in our hotel room there was a baby crying next door and we never got much sleep

Smoke filled. Food was lukewarm. There was variety but most tasted bland. Cost 63.00 for 2 adults and 1 child. Will not be back.

My husband and I had such a great time. We only ate at the buffet. Staff were awesome! Food was also great! We will definitely return.

With greatsadness, if I could give less than one star I would. We made a 6.5 hour trip from Jacksonville without a reservation, because we knew it wouldn't be a problem getting a room on a Monday. We are Ruby members, who brought along a first-time friend/birthday girl, who decided to vacation on the Gulf Coast (GC) after a long hiatus. The IP was our first love of casinos on the GC, and we've always stayed here for the friendly service, casino, and food.

Upon arrival and check in on 09/24/18 approx. 12 pm, we were greeted by an unfriendly shoulder-length blond with glasses. She had a very snappy attitude, followed up with one word answers. We tried to book our room at the desk, hoping to receive the same Ruby rate that we saw online. The blond rep, after looking up our member status, rudely gave us a rate of almost double what we saw online, and told us that we would have to book online if we wanted a better rate. So we were forced out of line, and had to log into our account to book the room. This was so unnecessary, after making an almost 7 hour drive from Florida. Although we could've booked the room in advance, we felt we would have gotten the same rate at the counter, turns out we were so wrong. This should have been a simple fix with a few key strokes or a phone call, but we were met with hostility, and our friend/birthday girl, who is here for the first time has a bad taste in her mouth. We got out of line and booked the room on Bconnected no problem, then get called up by the same rude rep. Her smart reply was, "at least you got a better rate."

Since it was such a bother for such a such a simple request, we will never stay or play here again, seeing that there are multiple casino options on the Gulf Coast. Our vibe of excitement was ruined upon check-in, and we only played minimally in the casino downstairs. After an hour or so, we decided to play at another casino, where we collectively fed several thousand dollars into the machines.

It really saddens me because we were so loyal to the IP, since this was the first casino/holel that we had ever stayed and played in on the Gulf Coast. We had a great time at a competing property, and will stay and play there from now on.

Recently stayed at the IP to take in concert. I must say, if anyone plans on staying at the IP and have a cigarette smoke dislike DO NOT GO OR STAY HERE. We stayed in a smoke free room. Everything we owned smelled like cigarette smoke. The service was horrible. Seems nobody wants to work in the SERVICE industry. Under staffed to say the least. We'll stay in a motel next time. Everything was over priced and one star .

We attended the Air Supply concert at Studio A. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. Staff were quite helpful and everything was clean.

Just love being there it's like home away from home

Location is a little bit off the main strip. Room was very nice and included a fridge.

The staff was unfriendly and indifferent. Only one restaurant is open late but it was short staffed so the wait was long and food wasn't worth what we paid for it. IP, you can do better.

Tien Hibachi dinner was fabulous. Had a beautiful date by my side.

Great entertainment by Brian McKnight, someone hit the $11,000+, altogether great place and great night!

The staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the food, drinks, concert, and spa experiences we had. We plan to return and enjoy more time there.

Very nice casino hotel. The staff was friendly and the food was good. This place is busy for a good reason, good service. Service that can be depended on can be found here. The offer a roomy gaming area. We enjoyed our stay and cant say anything negative about it.

Was there for a book signing and stayed to play and hit the chill bar Saturday night

Attended Restless Heart concert - great sound - smaller, intimate theater, comfortable seating. Perfect performance!! Dinner beforehand was a little disappointing. Friendly helpful employees but quality and taste of food not comparable to some of the other casinos. Was totally charmed by the desserts offered in tiny mason jars! Had a great time over all

As for a casino, we had a bit of fun and found some loose slot machines. Have not stayed here but otherwise we found this to be one of the more appealing casinos in town.

Nice rooms and staff. Plenty of table and slot games. Restaurants are usually very good.

Wife loves the Seafood, plan to be there for at least three hours.

We stayed in a penthouse suite. It was clean, and smelled fresh for a place where smoking is allowed. Staff is friendly, food is good at all the restaurants. We haven't gone to the buffet yet.

If you are a frequent guest at IP Casino, then you will notice what a dump it has become. Ive stayed in rooms with no hot water multiple occasions and at/around 3am weekdays and very weak showers. Maybe some people don't care, but i assume most people would find it aggravating. The gaming floor is very poorly ventilated IMO and stinks like wet cigarette butts. Buttons on too many slots in need of repair, as well as card readers and card reader displays. Extremely slow service at the entrance restaraunt (employees standing around on their cell phones). The last time i stayed at IP Casino I tossed my Emerald Player's Card in the trash and decided to never return. Have been content to abstain given the many annoyances about the place. I'm only speaking as a former frequent guest. It's as good a casino as any for someone passing through or occasional player.

Massage and experience was wonderful I however I would suggest having your hair done elsewhere

Drinks were delicious, food was outstanding, the people are great and there is plenty of options to choose from! The rooms were wonderful, but getting on an elevator was a pain. All around a great place!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I am a local and used to ONLY gamble at this casino for the perks. Well, when I accidentally booked the wrong day online for a reservation (didnt realize it, until I saw an attempted charge from the IP on my account) I called to find out what was going on. Apparently I booked the wrong day on a comp room. I asked if anything could be done to accommodate me knowing this was my mess up. The front desk told me because i was a no show there was nothing that could be done. I asked her if there any way possible we could figure something out as this was a huge weekend for myself, and surprise nothing could be done! I have NEVER in 10 years of gambling here EVER miss a check in. Absolutely will never step foot in here again. I will take my money elsewhere. Oh did I mention I am at the cusp of an emerald member!
