Better prices than home depo and lows and better service.

I live close enough that I actually go to the store, and they have always given me solid advice. They have never tried to upsell me on any piece of equipment that I was interested in buying.

Use to love this store. Both in person and to order things online. Nowadays there flyer online is never up to date, or it's just a blank page. What really got me was when I tried to return their IHL brand of a cordless framing nailer. It shot about 30 nails and then I had to hold it at weird angles to get it to shot. After 30 more nails I stopped working completely. I wasted 2 hours trying to fix it to no avail. Tried taking it back for an in store credit but the manager was rude and snubbed me off as quickly as possible. Would not take it back, only would have me pay to have them service it. But I have zero interest in paying for a tool to be serviced after 4 minutes of use. I'm sure after they would have "fixed it" I would just have more troubles. Now I just have an expensive paper weight.

They are good to watch for deals but know they have no costumer loyalty.

Great place to pickup bulk nail screws industrial tools. Contractors use ihl as a supplier for work material.

I bought Milwaukee impact driver from them few months ago. I did not check inside the box when I bought it, why should I check inside the box if it's a BRAND NEW item?

I get back to home and opened the box. There was NO impact driver in it, only the battery and charger were in the box. I went back to IHL and told them there is no impact driver in it. At first they were implying that I stole it. I was told that I should have checked the box before the purchase. Finally they realized that it was an open box item, and they put the "empty" box on the shelf! They even didn't apologize.

They are rude, unprofessional and it was the worst customer service experience I have ever seen. They are crooks and I will avoid them at all costs. Think twice and CHECK the actual box before you buy something from IHL!

I like to shop here. It has a wide catalog of products and brands, and at very reasonable prices.

Prices on tools used to be good but are the same as other retailers these days. Why would I want to deal with rude customer service and a lousy return policy when I am paying the same as other retail outlets.

IHL is my favorate tool store. Because it sells good tools with great price and has great customer service.

Prices are Great , so is customer service . They always have stock, Note to other Canadian stores , this is how you run a big box store , Lowes or Home Depot doent price match these guys , But at least HD doesnt waste your time like Lowes.

was in there today to browse tools and storage (not my first time, more like my 100th) They have a great selection and amazing prices. Everyone is friendly and helpful if need be. However, I do not appreciate being hounded and followed around by hungry sales people. If I need help, I will ask someone. Regardless if they're on commission or not, it's annoying not to be able to look around without someone trying to interest you in other products that you're not looking for. That's the only reason I didn't rate IHL 5 stars

We have been a long time customer and more than that we have recommended IHL to others during our years as a business. My last purchase of a pressure washer and accessories has a nasty turn when I returned with the hose to get it fixed 1 week after the purchase date. I guess the hose is not what the cashier entered (I payed less than it was supposed to cost) when I bought it and I now had a choice of either paying the difference or get the credit of the original purchase price. You are probably wondering why I have given them 5 stars at this moment.

A good store makes mistake and tries to get away with it but a GREAT store makes up for those mistakes after they are made. I wrote an email to IHL describing what happened and their reaction is what I wish the rest of the stores on the market like Home Depot, Brafasco and Fastenal should live up to. Customer service called ME the following day and said they wanted to make this right. After they found the part that was originally purchased I went in to the store to pick it up. I am impressed with the speed they got back to me and that they stood behind the error.

IHL has a continued long term customer in us.... and an advocate for them.

Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy. Always greeted by someone each time I have been there. They don't hover over you once they direct you for what you ask for but politely let you know to ask if you need further assistance. It doesn't get any better than that from a customer's perspective.

Excellent service! Staff were helpful and considerate. Emailed them twice and each time I got a professional response that showed how they care for their customers and businesses. I have had some changes on my order as well and they were very accommodating in every instance. Delivery was very fast, and when I was not at home to pick it up, I got a hand written IHL note at my door saying that a delivery attempt has been made. The note is nicely written (legible, not scribbles) and begins with the recipient's title. This is personal touch. My item wasn't left at the door unattended and I didn't get a postal note with scribbles saying now where I should go pick up my item. Did I mention that this delivery service was free of charge when you purchase over a certain amount? Along with the unbeatable prices that they offer on quality products, they have certainly won my business and I would definitely recommend it to people I know.

Great return service. I bought the milwaukee 2753-20 impact driver. Got it in and not even a week later the LED stoped working. They covered shipping and had a new drill sent out to me a week later.

Worst ever. you almost have to beg someone to take your money. all orders are sent to their online ordering department which is manned by voicemail only with NO hope for a response. Im not entirely sure why they're there at all.

For a week now I have been shopping on the web for a Milwaukee Fuel hammer drill/driver and impact driver combo ; Amazon was selling it for $79 more than IHL and without the additional free battery that IHL included in the deal. I could'nt find anywhere else I could buy this kit at such a good price with free shipping. I had a few questions to discuss concerning this product and Nan was very helpfull for answering all my interrogations. He also oversaw the shipping so that I get the tools in the best delay possible. I had became aware of IHL by a fellow woodworker enthousiast from a web site where he was indicating his satisfaction regarding buying his Milwaukee tools from IHL and I now confirm that I am happy for having followed his advice.

I bought few items online from IHL. Shipment arrived timely. Packaging was done professionally. However there was a problem with one item. I wrote IHL customer service and they got back to me promptly with a very satisfactory solution so I thought it's only fair to share my very positive experience. I strongly recommend IHL especially that they have great deals compared to other online retailers.

Placed an order with IHL online. Website listed Free shipping, but when I got the confirmation it was huge charge for shipping. I was offered a store pick up. One week later my order is still not ready for pick up. An order is just for a few small pieces of hardware I need for my project. Talked several times to Customer Service and was surprised of luck of care about customer. I'm canceling my order as my project is already a week delayed and I still don't know when I get the order.

Bought a power washer. It was delivered next day. The price was excellent and the customer service was superb! I had a problem (their fault). They personally delivered a replacement by the end of the day. It doesn't get any
better than that. I found this place by accident, but will using them frequently.

Worst Shopping online experience ever....
I have ordered several items and after months of waiting, writing complains and number off calls , I received only half of initial order.
After another month of fighting, IHL returned me the money for the missing items via Paypal but not as a return, as a purchase, so I have to wait another 21 days and pay fee to Paypal as a seller.

I will never ever buy again at IHL using their internet site.

First visit today and store is very clean and very organized and staff really care to serve you. Firstly the lady who was going off her shift didn't brush me off and helped answer my questions. Then Pedro from the pro-desk went above and beyond to help me get my sonotubes into admittedly too small a car. Can't say enough how grateful I was for his help. They have made a repeat customer of me in one visit.

I bought a Bosch 12 volt charger from IHL and service is excellent. Nan was very professional in answering all my questions and concerns and I will not hesitate to buy items from them in the future. I would rate this company 10/10 for high quality of service.

Terrible costumer service ! They didn t accept their own product warranty.
Not too long ago I purchased 400 ear plugs DuraDrive manufactured by IHL . Week later my ears got very itchy after wearing them all day to the point that couldn t take the pain and redness, didn t want to get my ears infected!
And it wasn t only with the reaction to this crapy product the other guys on the crew that used same earplugs complained too !
Must be some chemical in the earplug reacting with the skin .
I ve been wearing earplugs at work for the last 20 years and never had problems with other manufacturers!
Stay away from DuraDrive products!
So I brought one of the boxes of earplugs Back to the store with complain and they told me nothing they can do ..!
So I didn t argue , told them keep your earplugs and your $20 .
