Ordered a Concrete Mixer from them, It arrived very quickly and they were the best price by far on this machine. Used the mixer a couple of times and it went up in Smoke, they asked me to send it back so I did and they paid shipping both ways and sent me a new machine. For online orders make sure that you deal with Nan. He is the one that gets things done.

WOW! Spent hours of shopping around for the new Milwaukee packout toolbox. Went online and they require you to make a account, which is a slight annoyance, but glad I did. Found the bottom section $40 cheaper than the big box and small contractor stores, middle box $25 cheaper and top for $20 cheaper. All in and out the door $311. Cost in USA is 279.99 plus tax. Extremely happy with this place, customer for life now.

Store staff were very helpful and attentive. Was able to find a rain jacket and a semi winter jacket for work as I work in construction and often times it is difficult for females to find jackets in this industry.
But this store is much better than inter line and by far has more items to choose from. Definitely will go back again.

Left my drill for repair 5 weeks ago & still no word. Called 4X but still no word. Their message promises a call back within one business day.
Very bad service. I bought a $70 plus tax still sparye in May, and it broke after using it twice, but because of the Covid 19, their store cannot return the product. I called them in June and July to ask them, but they still haven't opened returns. When I remembered that I wanted to return the product in August, they gave me the reason that the 30-day return period had passed and I could not accept my return.Now I felt so bad to spent so much money to but one garbage.

I found a good deal of Bosch clpk250 drill and impact driver combo kit and purchased it from them online. At the beginning, I have had a little concern as they are located in Ontario, and I am in Vancouver. After a little research online, I decided to give it a shot.
After received the product, I realized the drill cannot fulfill the requirement of accuracy needed for my work. I then contacted their customer service and got offers to replace it or return it at no cost. I really liked the deal, so I pined my hope onto its an defective on individual product and decided to see if a replacement can do better. Unfortunately, the replacement was doing the same thing. I realized this was Bosch's problem and I had to return it eventually.
Even though the deal was not done. I have to say they have very good customer service, as least the representative Nan really cares the customer he is dealing with. I can feel he understands the concerns of online customers and the importance of reputations to his employer for doing business online. During the entire process, the communication has been efficient and smooth.
Based on my experience IHL is a worry free online reseller. It is definitaly on the top of my list if I need to buy tools online again..

Now I just received this but how long it lasts is on Makita, not this seller. I had the best experience with the Jigsaw I bought here and I was reluctant as it was not a purchase within the US where I live but based on the product, their description, and especially the best price anywhere I could find, I went for it!! This Makita cordless jigsaw arrived quicker then estimated ship time. It was brand new and a 2016 date code, so not some older tool that's being "called" new. This was new in a Makita box and I put one of my batteries in it and it works AMAZINGLY well!! I didn't know it but there was also a small pack of blades included. Bonus!!
But I am highly impressed with this company and their product. I also got very quick replies to the few questions I had prior to buying this.

I had a problem with the purchase of a compound sliding miter saw. Initially I was unhappy with the purchase but the service person in the online order desk worked diligently to satisfy me and in the end I received a replacement saw. A nice outcome to a service problem. Well don IHL>
Would not recommend to anyone, poor customer service out of no where these guys added a 15% restocking fee , buyer beware I purchased a tool in the morning and was unable to return in the afternoon without paying a restocking fee of 115$ what a money grab.
I just found out about IHL and had to check this place out. Upon arrival, I was impressed! Well organized store and they have their own brand of work wear called Dura Drive. The fit is hands down the best I've ever come across, love all the versatile pockets (especially the side pockets), and very reasonable prices. So I bought two pairs. Two thumbs up to Dura Drive and Kabo Lok, the designer. I'll be coming back again to stock up on more work wear.

Most common articles are significantly cheaper than in other stores. Some things like plywood are similarly priced as in Home Depot.

Don't believe on dates given by them, I was told 48hrs for me to go pick up, 48 hours after I called and they said 5 business days.
Ask to speak with a supervisor and no one was willing to answer my questions.
I am still baffled why they did not tel the truth when you purchase.

If your in the construction business and you don't know about IHL Canada, than your not well informed. This place has an amazing selection of tools and materials at the best prices around. I drive up from Stoney Creek to get materials, which in turn enables me to give my customers, better prices. A win win.
I find here always better prices than Home Depot but far fewer products. Also, it is kind of dark place like a cave. I guess they are saving from lights. Sometimes is hard to find the price or quantity they should think of updating their labeling.
Very slow shipping when ordering online. Charged my card immediately and emailed a tracking number but actually shipped on the fourth business day after receiving my order. That tracking number remained invalid till the fourth day. Not sure why it would take them so long in this day and age to ship an item that is in stock.

I do not recommend this business to anyone. The service is horrible. They unfortunately pretend to fix things and steal people s money! My dad dropped off a drill to be repaired, they never fixed it and told my dad that they would try again and if they didn t fix it they would give him a refund. My dad believed them so decided to give them another chance to try to fix the drill. They still were not able to fix it and told him there was nothing they can do and didn t give him his refund!

Most of things are all good ,but bad experience happened after I purchased the two duradrive 3000w quite generator (the guys said this is very good deal compare use one Honda price to get 2 duradrives so I listen his suggestions ), 2 month later 300hours working one is break down and I took back they said I need a invoice for fix it.(I keep most of my receipts but only this one I can t find it) at first time I was try to fix by my own but no body like to touch it because they can t get parts.so now the broken one is peace of junk .I don t what i can do with it.
