Excellent price and quality of service and products

Very good prices and their main brand dura drive is good quality and better priced than other places. They dont get 5 stars just because on tools a lot of their items can't be returned directly with them. You have to do return with the manufacturer and who wants too or has the time too deal with that. So I usually get tools at home depot or Lowe's for that matter. But other than that excellent staff and can find very good deals..

First Time I went there they treat me like a family and the prices are really good I will recommend for everyone to go there for us

I recently ordered a double pack Dewalt 20V DCB204-4 from there online site. Great price. Delivery was fast, very satisfied. A couple of days later one of the battery's would not charge anymore, IHL could not foresee this. But I still contacted them and NAN XU personally delivered a replacement straight to my house the day after I called them. Couldn't be happier.

Brutal experience. I just purchased a brand new Honda Lawn Mower for $789.87 in June 2020 so it is about a month old. On just the second attempt at cutting my small front lawn the lawn mower begins to bog out and continuously shut down. I've read the manual over and over and have done everything correct. I spoke with customer service and they said they don't accept returns on Honda products. DO NOT SHOP HERE! IHL SELLS BORKEN PRODUCTS. SCAM COMPANY. On top of this, the shipment was over a week delayed.

A good place for construction workers they have almost everything

Amazing purchase experience. I had ordered a Dewalt impact driver online and the next day I realized I should have ordered the combo kit as the price for the driver and the hammer drill combo was over $150 cheaper than Home Depot or Canadian Tire and I needed a new drill. I spoke with Pritesh who went down to the warehouse to pull the original order minutes before it was due to ship. He cancelled that order for me, processed the refund, and then I placed a new order. I live in New Brunswick and I received the order less than 24 hours later at my door! Wonderful pricing and excellent customer service have ensured that I will be a future customer of IHL Canada. Highly recommend using IHL for your quality tool needs.

Perfect supply store for contractor or person who know ;) amazing deals on tools. Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, you name it. For past few years all gloves, safety glasses, safety wear getting here. Fantastic stand to compare lasers. All fasteners for nail guns. straight or collated. Plenty of parking and location close to 400 make it easy to access.

I had recently purchased Dewalt 24000S wet tile saw from IHL (which by the way had the best price around) and upon receiving the pacakge, I noticed that the item was not the correct package. I immediately called IHL and was routed to Nan who supported my issue. In the end, FedEx had mixed up the packages with another order in my area. Nan was commited and quickly offerred several solutions to rectify the mixup. Within 1 day, I had my tile saw and a nice compensation from IHL to show their apologies for their 3rd party mixup. Great customer service and price. I am very satisfied with the whole purchasing process even though there was a mixup and would not hesitate to order from them again. A++++

Ihl Canada has excellent customer service. They are always up to date on new tools and there employees are very knowledgeable on the products they sell.

I work mostly in downtown Toronto and live in the city as well so needless to say it's tough for me to get up to IHL. They have the best prices and carry great products! One being Keen work boots. By far the best work boots I have ever worn and I now refuse to wear anything else. With this slush on the ground today had come to realize my current Keen boots were no longer waterproof and I needed a new pair, NOW so I gave IHL a call. Kartik took my call and listened to my concerns. I was hoping they could deliver a pair to my jobsite tomorrow but IHL is closed and mailing the boots would not help as I needed them NOW. So instead of just leaving me disappointed (through no fault of his own) Kartik offered to personally deliver my new boots which he did with a smile! I am thrilled to have these new boots and I'm looking forward to rocking around in the slush tomorrow and over the weekend. THANK YOU IHL AND KARTIK!

I've been an independent carpenter for over thirty years so I'm always looking for good tools that will do the job, stand the test of time and are reasonably priced. IHL has all of that so it's a great place to shop.
My order online was processed quickly and arrived in two days...unbelievable!

Home depot for pros, only drawback is there isn't enough staff.

i looked everywhere for a stiletto roofing hammer that delivers to Canada (tried 5+ places including ebay and amazon) they not only had it! but it was here the next day (i live in the same province) absolutely amazing couldn't believe it had some trouble getting a hold of employees at 7ish am but had no problem later in the day they answered all my questions where professional and quick was quite impressed will defiantly shop here again

Great sale on tools, definitely cheaper then Home Depot or other hardware stores, would go to this store more often if they had more locations and in closer distance

Do not go to this place! I do not recommend this business to anyone. The service is horrible. They unfortunately pretend to fix things and steal people s money! I left a drill to get fixed at the store, it took them 2 months to call me and tell me that the drill was fixed. I Went to pick it up. While I was waiting for them to look for it I paid at the front desk but when I received the machine I noticed they didn t fix it. I showed them it wasn t fixed and Slavak (the manager) agreed that the drill still had the same problem. He then spoke to Ryan who tried fixing the machine. Ryan said that they would try to fix it once again and that if they were not able to fix the problem I would get a refund. I went back 2 weeks later to pick up my drill and the problem still wasn t fixed. They insist on saying that they fixed it and there s nothing else they can do but my drill still doesn t work! They didn t give me my refund like I was told and I had to purchase a new machine in order to work.

To summarize, I will never give IHL my business ever again.

To elaborate, I was only met with problems the second I purchased an item.

I purchased a Metabo 12 miter saw online on November 7th & it was a surprise birthday gift for my husband.

I processed the payment (through PayPal as prompted, I also don't have a PayPal account) & set the address to my parents house as I wanted to ensure the saw remained as a surprise.

It was only until the date I should have received it that I looked into tracking, and the tracking number was not valid. I go on IHL to look at My Orders only to see there is no info on my purchase.

I called their online order support to then be told that they don t have the saw in stock and will would look into where they can locate one. Two hours later I received a confirmation email from UPS saying that it's shipped. Nothing appears under My Orders though.

It got to my parents, and they had called me to suggest they open the box as it was not in the best shape after shipping. And when I saw the photos of the condition the box was in, as well as the saw itself, I was appalled.

Because it was not packaged properly (literally cardboard thrown in), there was damage to the saw, unless it was damaged prior to them shipping but who knows? Because the saw wasn t locked, during transport anything the blade had come in contact with, was chewed up, the fence was bent, there was dust caked into crevices clearly indicating that this wasn t a new item, as well as the box itself clearly indicated it was an open box item. I really don t appreciate that I m spending hundred of dollars for something that s open box, let alone a gift. This is disrespectful to any paying customer unless indicated they are purchasing an open box item, obviously that s a different story.

So I had called IHL to process a refund. I didn t want to risk any problems with the saw in case there were limitations within the manufacturers policy. So I was eventually given a Canada Post return slip, but it would have been great to know that Canada Post rejects packages over 30kg. You would think that a company like IHL would give the appropriate label for a shipping company that actually accepts large packages.

I got a phone call from my husband saying that someone from IHL called his cell phone number about the 12 miter saw and looking for Dorota. He responded with saying that this is the wrong number, because it absolutely was. The associate that I ve been dealing with during this whole dilemma then emailed me saying that the number I provided was incorrect and that UPS would email me the label. I called him asking how on earth did he get my husbands cell phone number, and the associate replied with we got it off of PayPal .

Wait a minute.

1- I made this purchase without creating a PayPal account, so the only thing connecting this purchase to me is my email address.

2- I made this purchase through my father's IHL account (which ultimately doesn t mean much anyways because this purchase still hasn t appeared online), and it has my father s cell phone number on it.

3- I paid with my personal VISA card, which has no ties to my husband.

4- I never provided a phone number to begin with as that was not requested during the time of purchase.

5- My husband does have a PayPal account, however it was still not his email nor banking information attached to this purchase (and he s never purchased anything from IHL, which wouldn t matter because this purchase was made under my fathers account).

So now knowing that there s clear privacy issues, this deeply concerns me. Even the return label has my fathers information and my husbands cell phone number. Absolutely doesn t make sense.

IHL received the item on November 30th and I didn t get my refund until December 8th. Way too long to be sitting and waiting as interest collects from this charge.

Unfortunately privacy isn't taken seriously regarding online purchases. Please be cautious with any online orders and/ or returns with IHL. If a representative of IHL would like to discuss this review, I welcome it.

Great place for all your construction needs, (tool wise for sure). This place has things you didn t even know existed.
You should drop in just to have look around for the very least.

Extremely Dissappointed!!! I called Friday Sept 4th to confirm store hours for the FOLLOWING DAY before travelling 2+ hours to purchase tools and equipment for my construction company as I have in the past .
Arrived to the store expecting it to be open as clearly stated as of August 31 it would be, and CLOSED !!! New voicemail in place not even 12 hours prior basically saying see ya Tuesday. So upsetting , a day and travel expenses wasted.

Worst online experience ever, Customer service is so bad that its below 1 star.The never reply to any calls, emails or anything. Ans there products are more expensive than Home Depot

I was in this store on easter long weekend. I can not believe the amount of staff available to help with all my needs. They were eager to assist and widely available throughout the store as needed. No sales pressure and very professional and knowledgeable

Worst customer service, they just don't know know the value of their clients. If you have a problem with any tool under warranty, that's it! throw it in the garbage. I used to buy every single supply and tools from Ihl, I won't spend a penny in this place ever again. Is the first time I write a review about any business. But I really felt totally helpless.

IHL has everything you would need from a hardware. Reasonably priced and good quality

Have dealt with them for many years in Ontario. Moved to Alberta and tried online ordering. Came very quick. Had a issue with one item and got it sorted with Nan right away. Only wish shipping was free when over certain amount.
