It looks very well stocked and in prices I saw them better than in homedepot I guess it would be worth comparing one more peak but it looks very good

Great selection and prices. Geared towards contractors, so more portable and handheld tools than fixed machines. Really nice staff.

IHL Canada has all the tools you can possibly imagine. I find that the customer service is 4/5 stars (very rare I give service a 5/5). I buy all my landscaping tools/power equipment at either IHL or Interline. They're prices are fair and they'll work a deal with you if you're spending over $1000 and paying cash, a substantial deal and that's why I shop there. Employees are very friendly and if you speak to a veteran they'll answer all your questions. There is only one downfall about IHL and that's why I gave it 4/5 stars. All my power equipment is Stihl. The one thing I hate for example; the spindle on one of my trimmers broke and I needed to buy a new spindle ASAP as I left my other trimmer at home, but regardless I needed a spindle to operate the machine. They rarely have a part or piece that you're looking for. They always tell me "We have to order it and it'll come in within 3 days. Which is fine if I didn't need it right away. The spindle costs a measly $12, but because they didn't have it in stock I had to buy the whole head,, which costed me $65. So basically I had to waste $50 because they don't have stock. Other then that I would still recommend IHL to anyone, thus 4/5 stars. Hope this helps.

This company is the definition of scam artists. I purchased a jigsaw from them and they sent me a box filled with garbage.

If you re taking on a home Reno project and want high quality tools that will save you time and money, then IHL is the place to be. Shelves are stocked and the associates in the store can help you find the tools that you need. I was able to walk out with everything I was hoping to get thanks to a helpful staff associate.

Great people who care!

I made a mistake by ordering a set of Milwaukee M18 batteries when I actually wanted M28.
They were helpful and I received a full refund within moments of sending them an email.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get M28's from them but I will look there for any other power tool needs.

Great experience! I ordered a concrete sprayer that came with a dented wand. Immediately, I contacted the IHL team and provided the requested details. Within 2 business days, I received the new replacement wand. I was very impressed with the overall speed and quality of service. Always my go to place for tools as the online shopping is easy and delivery is fast (no charge if above $149). Their pricing is always great and usually the cheapest around. They have excellent customer service if ever needed when ordering online. Highly recommend shopping here online or in store.

Can t say enough good things about IHL. Victor our sales rep is awesome and really everyone in the place does everything possible to help with anything we need. The place deserves 6 stars and not 5.

Excellent service and prices for tools, building materials, hardware,work clothing. Their own brand of DuraDrive toolshtools been designed by contractors. Their measuring tapes are idiot proof to read. Prices beat any place you know of.

5 stars, because of the level of service I received. IHL employees actually ask you if you need help and walk you to the item you're looking for. Shelves were a bit empty but not a huge factor. I wish some of the other similar stores offered the same type of service.

Online Customer Service is 10/10. I can usually find the best prices on products I need at IHL. Shipping is super fast, free, and includes tracking. Really happy with my experiences through them.

I do like this store. A lot actually. Good deals and quality materials.
But the people at the order pick up desk at the back of the building lack the understanding of urgency. It took over an hour to pick up several dozen bags of Grout. It you're in a hurry avoid the stop.

The reason I bought the GLM-50C model although it was $50 more expensive, but for me it does everything the GLM 40X didn't do. It is seriously sweet! The difference is night and day.
I love the feature of self leveling and color display with auto rotation.
Those features are very important and helpful for the measuring job.

Great place for tools and building materials. Guys you need to improve your online website shopping. Your in store experience is one of the best and biggest in Toronto but your online experience is outdated, hard to find items and does not do your store justice.

Staff service at the clothing section is very bad and rude. Oct 26 I asked the lady works there to get me a new makita trolley. She told me that the display one is the only one left and it came without a box. I told her that this is not my first timing buying it, I know it does come with a box, and I asked her to help me check at the back. Then she finally agreed to help me check and bring out a brand new one. I shop at IHL for the passed 6 years all my tools and clothes are from IHL. I can t believe it that lady was so lazy to help out and try to play smart with a customer.

I m very happy with the customer service I received. I emailed IHL with a question I had, and I received a response from a live person who not only answered my question quickly, but did his very best to make sure I was completely satisfied. They also had the best price for what I was looking for and I did my research before ordering. I m so glad I did...my husband loves his sawhorses. I ll do business again with them anytime. They are number 1 in my books.

We bought a Dewalt leaf blower and it was not as shown in the photos. We returned the item with our own expense. It's been two months and we have not received our money back. This is a crook company.

best place to get all your construction job tools and supplies

Today i drove from windsor Ontario to your store about 3 hours drive to buy a load of eifs mesh.
I bought 60 rolls @ 28.75 which is the discounted price when you buy more than 40 rolls. I wanted to buy more but i wasn't sure if there's enough room in my truck. So i bought 60 rolls and there was enough room for 20 more rolls. I went back and waited in the line for like 30 min and when i asked a gentleman there to buy extra 20 rols he refused to sell it to me at the discounted price i explained to him why didn't i buy them all at once but he didn't want cooperate.
Then i asked him to talk to the manager he said im the manager and i don't want to sell it to you at the discounted price.

Im so disappointed with the way i was treated and it was not fair at all.

I usually spend around $2500 on eifs mesh everytime i buy from your store.

As a long time customer of IHL, I decided to purchase the Honda HS720 snowblower. My old Toro had seen its last days.
Went in and met Darren who's a great guy and knows his stuff.
I had a few questions regarding the warrenty and general thoughts about Honda snowblowers.
Darren was a Wealth of knowledge who spent sometime with me explaining what Honda had that some other manufacturers didn't have.
I will say that I extensively researched all the top Snowblowers and was already convinced on the Honda brand, but I will say that Darren sealed the deal.
Besides the great customer service, price and variety, I highly reccomend IHL.
These guys are great!!!

Picked up an online order. Staff always really friendly.

I just had a horrible experoence with this company. I wanted to exchange a curved Stihl gas trimmer for a straight one. As soon as I politely asked if there was a possibilty to exchange not asking for a refund, I was told you cant return it chech your bill of sale.
I checked the bill of sale and there was nothing on the bill. Another sales person called tp speak to a manager and Dave told her it it was purchased a month ago and it wasnt it was purchased May 21st.
I explained I had only used it twice because of the rainy weather and wanted to exchange it. Another manager came his name was Charlie and told me Stihl only has a 7 day return policy again nothing on the bill of sale.

I know I'm not your big contractor and just a little guy but the way I was treated and not given any consideration , other than a " no " and sarcastic " thank you" is no way to treat customers or provide service.
Never will set foot in that store again!

I was verballly threatened by a member of staff and H.r called my a couple of days later about the incident, i gave a good description of the staff member and the location and time of the incident but was told i would have to come to the store and point out the staff member.I spent thousands each year in that store and will never set foot inside ihl ever again after the way they treated me.

Huge Store with lots of regular tools. Needs more specialty tools.
Good for Building supply materials

Probably the worst tool store ever, bought $500 sds hammer drill, couple months after it got jammed and when I called them about it they told me to go to manufacture and deal with it with them?! Excuse me?! did I buy tool from them or from you??! I have to wait and still waiting for my drill to be fixed im losing money everyday cause I don't have drill to use and I can't even rent from them or some sort of replacement while I'm waiting . You buy tool at any other store they replace it right away, if you have warranty.. honestly save your money even paying $20 more at home depot is worth it trust me!!

Best prices on construction supplies and a large variety as well

I purchased 75 boxes, 1500lbs+, of Drybarrier subfloor tiles, shipped internationally. I was helped by Nan from IHL from start to finish. He was extremely professional and sensitive to my timing needs. The shipment arrived intact and working along with the driver we got the shipment into my garage. I would definitely purchase from IHL again, using Nan as my point of contact. 5 stars!

I have three on-line orders which has been made from IHL Canada website. First two is perfect, good price and fast shipping. Has small issue with my third order, but they offered a good solution by delivering a brand new item to exchange plus a free gift battery. So far, I like this hardware store, and will order more tools from them in future.

I bought a drill approximately 4 months ago from here. It suddenly stopped working today. I use a drill everyday for work and I needed it fixed asap. I went in to see what could be done. I was told that the tool repair was only open from 7am to 4pm. Given the time I got there, that portion of the store was closed. What to do?
The cashier working the front pointed me to Paul the manager on staff. This guy listened to my concern about the product and he knew that the tool repair was closed and probably understood that coming back for the dedicated time was going to be an issue.
Paul went well above his obligation to me as a customer and rectified the drill issue no questions asked. He didn't waste anytime getting my issue resolved. Two thumbs up from me!

Fast knowledgeable service and great selection and value. This was my 2nd time at IHL, 1st time I had to. Buy a safety harness for a job that day. Their early hours, 6 am open, allowed me to buy the harness and B at job site by 7 am. This time had to get tools for Iron worker. Tony had worked in highrise, previously, he was very knowledgeable and he took me to all the areas I needed to buy items. It was fast, with his help, the selection, of pliers by name brands, was generous. I chose what felt good in my hand. IHL with a clean and organized store layout, and knowledgeable staff made it fast and easy to get what I needed, with great prices on quality name brand tools. NO cheap stuff from China here, but brand name tools at value prices, or you can get top of the line to, they have both. I'll be coming back for sure. Forget home depot, high price and limited selection for home owners only. IHL is professional industry grade.

Dont bother coming for curbside pickup unless you enjoy waiting for an hour only for them to bring out the wrong order and then wait another 20 minutes.

Worst customer service ANY WEAR! took a quick cut there to be looked at for back firing and have the carb cleaned, after 4 weeks and 5 phone calls no one had called us back. The last time I had to call 2 times and get names for anyone to take me seriously, they found my item and NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE TO IT! the person I talked to claimed to be the manager but had no idea why and was not interested in taking responsibility for my complaint or the actions that had unfolded up to that point. The next day we picked up the quick and took it else wear. WORST EVER!

This is the most unorganized, unprofessional and slow place to pick up with a transport truck. Took 5 forklift drivers 1 1/2 hours to unload 1 flatbed of drywall. I picked up 1 skid. So much garbage and product piled in yard, you can't get by to get loaded. Avoid this place at all costs.

Was looking to buy a dewalt 20V sawzall , a dewalt blower and a new work pouch. Saw that the prices were very good at IHL so decided to purchase them there. Was given free shipping for my first order in spite of the fact I was not in the GTA . Order was here 2 business days later. Very happy ! Highly recommended. Thanks Nan Xu
