Pros: the Sunday brunch on the terrace is delicious with champagne cut offered to do and redo. The kitchen and service team are caring, they ensure!
The -: the spa is not up to the hotel, hygiene limit in the steam room that does not heat: / it is still a pity for an exceptional establishment.

Very nice and near the center hotel. Also very nice breakfast and bar. You have to try burger which even if it is not "French" it is totally juicy and well cutting meat. Service also is very polite and helpful.

Enjoyed this hotel, stunning building in a great location that is walkable to all marseille central hotspots, including harbour and basilico. Lovely terrace bar, albeit a bit expensive. Hotel has all the amenities required and service is good, including the concierge who is able to make some decent bookings

Beautiful Marseille Palace - former hospital - with stunning views of the Old Port. The outdoor terrace offers a remarkable view of the city. The hotel bar (Le Capian) is one of the best bars in Marseille. The bartender chef - Xavier Gilly - is a true champion of mixology. I recommend the cocktail called the Daviel (named after Place Daviel nearby) which is already a classic French cocktails. As for dining, the gourmet restaurant - l'Alcyone - is one of the best restaurants in the city. These places will suit all levels of requirement.

It's like living in a modernized castle. There's a beautiful courtyard to have breakfast and hang out with a drink after. The rooms are modern clean. The concierge polite and accommodating. Everyone spoke English. The included breakfast was delicious. Would come back to Marseille just to stay here.

Very nice hotel obviously a magnificent view a reception staff very professional and pleasant a beautiful decoration, very beautiful room however I was disappointed to see that the
meal tray from the next room stayed a long time on the floor in the hall damage that denotes a little ... about SPA space I found it beautiful a beautiful deco a very nice staff really but I regretted the temperature of the water not very hot and pity the lack of a hot tub. Finally the breakfast again the staff is very nice welcome, the quality of products offered of course but a very small space and a dining room where the tables are very close damage ... but a very good time

Hotel located in a beautiful historical building. The setting of this ancient religious building is splendid. The location overlooking the old harbor is beautiful and very convenient. The splendid spa and the very well equipped gym. Cheap on weekdays you can get it at a good price on the weekends and the hotel has a wide upgrade policy. For the price of a standard room I had a family suite with a wonderful life on the old harbor and the good mother. My room seemed a little tired but kept in good condition and spotlessly clean. The bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent with next to the classics some touches of originality. Highly recommended, I can not wait to return.

French chic. The view of Marseille, the port and the good mother are worth stopping there.
The crossing of the building and the immersion in the beautiful is very pleasant.
For the rest sorry but I can not afford.
Not tested the rooms and the restaurant

I had the pleasure of staying at the Intercontinental Hotel during a professional event and I can confirm that the establishment deserves the 5 stars.
I wish to highlight the service of the collaborators which was remarkable. From check-in, to restaurant service (dinner and breakfast!) Until check out. Thank you for your kindness and your smile. Bravo

At the height of expectations that we can have in a 5 *. Very friendly, competent and efficient staff. Not to mention the places, after an exemplary renovation. Imagine waking up in a suite facing the good mother.
Magical !

We ve been there while Marseille has been announced red zone for the COVID19 situation. I must say they took the emergency very seriously, providing hand sanitizer gel in every area and free masks at the breakfast buffet.
Access to the pool was limited to 10 guests, and we had some problem in the reservation process. Even though Concierge replied saying they weren t able to solve the situation since the Clarins SPA is independent from the hotel (sic!) in the end we managed to have our relaxing hour by the pool.

Room was huge and well equipped, even if due to the situation it was missing that kind of warmth and attention you expect from a Intercontinental 5 star hotel. I m not asking for complimentary fruit at the arrival, but a welcome kit with a mini size hand gel and a mask would have been really appreciated. :)
