Good facilities, rooms clean, breakfast rich. Wellness area generous (at my booking gg. Surcharge). Cocktails in the hotel bar Marlene very good, the gin selection is impressive. Location optimal. Meeting rooms optimally equipped and acoustically usable (that is not a matter of course). A star deduction, because the light in the room in the clothing store was broken for several days. Nevertheless, to be recommended. Gladly again!
A beautiful hotel with excellent service. We had a room with two twin beds. It was a very comfortable sleep! The room is spacious, elegant, and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I went down to the concierge for help getting onto the wifi and ending up walking away with sightseeing information, restaurant recommendations and a voucher for a free beer in the hotel bar!! Would definitely stay here again

Stayed here on a trip from Holland with my wife, mother and sister and it was very nice.
Rooms are spacious and well kept. The food and drinks at the hotel bar were delicious and the hotel concierge was very polite. They were happy to accommodate tourists and spoke excellent English.
I highly recommend any of the Intercontinental hotels.

The building feels old.
But the service is pretty good.
There is also a Korean Embassy nearby so it is recommended to Koreans
We were as a couple vo. 12.5. until 09.12.2019 guest at the Interconti. Everything is really great! From the really awesome breakfast, to the very nice rooms, a really nice swimming pool area to the perfect service. All staff are extremely friendly and always helpful. We felt very well and the next stay is already planned.
A very good conference hotel breakfast perfect room okay bathroom very impractical for persons with disabilities conditionally suitable no one needs such a bathtub for showers otherwise everything very well

Very nice hotel near the zoological garden. The club lounge is okay, but the staff is not very competent. We asked for the Christmas goose and it said, you have to pre-order. Next weekend we pre-ordered the goose and ate at the Marlene Restaurant, where the very friendly waitress said that you do not have to preorder.
Big drawback, you as Ambassador Spire Elite not entitled to use the lounge for free. All in all a nice hotel, but not comparable to other Intercontis.

Very nice hotel, good location and nice rooms. Excellent breakfast. Two gyms and close to the best running area in Berlin (if you want a run in the morning). Walking distance to KaDeWe and other shopping. 10 min walk from Zoologiche train station.
Very nice hotel, typical of a Intercontinental property. Our room was refurbished, modern, spacious, and clean. The bathroom was a really nice size. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the Zoo Garten HPF with bus service to/from Tegel Airport. Also a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest Bahn station and a big shopping area.

Great location. Great staff. Superb pool and delicious restaurants. However, so much class to provide my son with this after a day at the zoo (nearby) looking at their beautiful new panda babies.

We are staying here (August 10-12). The facility is elegant. Our room is in excellent repair and well designed. We used the pool and whirlpool last night. This afternoon we plan to have a massage and sauna. The pricing is surprisingly competitive. We enjoyed some wine and small plates at the Marlene Bar last night. The concierge was very helpful planning a tour. Lovely hotel.
You get what you would expect from a hotel of this category. I would only avoid the standard rooms.
A good upscale hotel. The service, beds and breakfast, there is nothing to complain about. The shower / bath but shows flaws in this hotel class are not in order: beginnings of mold in the silicone, completely calcified rain shower, calcified Hanbrausenkopf, calcified Schaniere the shower door. In a 3 star hotel that would be no reason to complain, but the Intercontinental should be a bit more meticulous with the cleanliness.
Who has had such bad experiences?
Shower head defective; Flushing the toilet broken (ran all night and loud pumping noise); Drain from the sink clogged; No goodwill or trying to accept the problems on the part of the receptionist. Cocktails in the bar consisted almost only of crushed ice. Porter stood in front of the door with his colleague and smoked, instead of stopping the door and taking care of the guests.
Breakfast with broth. It's a long time for Koreans.
Good place for business meetings, conferences, city trips or relaxation. Friendly staff. Close to the zoo. Close to the underground and few bus stops.

Already an impressive, somewhat decadent hotel. Every year in December I am at the oeb fair. Always interesting in what such a hotel can transform everything. Depending on the event or trade fair, it would be the respective mega-event

The service, the location and the hotel are very good.
Two stars for the five-star hotel. No pool, no sauna and no gym because of Corona. The bar is also tight! Had it been pointed out on the homepage, my choice would have been without a doubt to another hotel - with a comparable range of services at half the price and a clean bathroom.

Great 5 star hotel with modern rooms, and great customer service oriented staff. A major plus is the spa facilities with a lap pool, saunas, and an herbal steam room. Only minor negative is the at times spotty internet but if you're doing Berlin right, it shouldn't really be an issue.

Bad customer experience with poor manager desk service. Old hotel with expansive rate. My room had no maintenance of its bathroom water systems. Cleaning service should see it and report it. Bad lighting. Hotel to definitively remove from your list and find another hotel for same price range.
In my travels throughout Europe staying at many 4 and 5 star hotels you can never go wrong staying at a Intercontinental hotel. Our last stay was in Berlin. Wonderful staff, confortable beds and quiet rooms no to mention great location.

The hotel in Berlin with the largest conference center! Directly at Tiergarten not far from the zoo.
I would say that this is the best hotel we visited in this trip. The attentive staff, especially the girls at the reception. The room is very cozy. Bed comfortable and extremely comfortable.
What struck me, as is the breakfast. Breakfast simply royal. There are champagne and wine. Asian area. I love dim sum. You can order to prepare scrambled eggs, waffles, scrambled eggs and much more. Believe me you will not leave hungry, not even able to eat anything offered at breakfast.
One minus was stuffy and hot, possibly because of the proximity of the open kitchen. And on the terrace for breakfast is not like it was cool.
The hotel is just super! Be sure to come back to you!

Stayed here the past 7 days and it was a great place to stay. It was near the zoo and also the 200 Bus stopped right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was good and the rooms were nice as well. Just think rooms need a few more plugs in general.
Did 4 nights here on my first trip to Berlin. And as you d expect from a 5 Star, it was clean, great customer service, the buffet was beyond amazing, and the gym and pool were both quite nice. It s close to a lot of shops and food outlets and also near the zoo so that is a great place to start a hop on hop off tour! Overall was an amazing stay
