Good location, bus 200 at your doorstep, tiergarten 5 minutes away, good breakfast, good toilet

It is a good hotel, although it is huge, you have the feeling that there are thousands of people living here, the staff are real professionals!
I will gladly come again!

Top Hotel, great for major conference, meetings, gala dinners

Overall I had a great stay over here. It was somewhat disappointing that the water in the sink did not drain quickly at times. However, the rest of the things were perfect. The location is excellent and walkable, the rooms are very nice, cozy and comfy. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet is amazingly diverse and delicious.

Here it is always clean and met many nice colleagues. Everyone does not just do their own work, but also more and more voluntarily. Everyone is very helpful.

Nice hotel, modern rooms, very good breakfast. Unfortunately, despite booking a 30 square meter room, I was first given a room, which had a maximum of 20 square meters. I then had to move to the other wing. When visiting the SPA, I was then made aware, this extra 15 for the use. This is not mentioned on the homepage anywhere. Both are a no-go for me!

Square - convenient - good. There are certainly charming houses, including this chain, but location, quality and service are as expected top.

Hotel very luxurious, well connected and with all the services that one can imagine. The food very good and the wifi phenomenal. You have to order a coffee at the bar to see how exquisite the place is. Well the price is according to the category, so that the cards are sharpened well;)

Very noble, generously foyer with clean lines and is worth a visit. The hotel's chef was rewarded with a Michelin star rating, so who wants to try it

The excellent breakfast on the terrace was more than a compensation for the corona-related closure of the spa, restaurant and bar.
The standard room was average, bathroom with separate toilet and rain shower in a large tub a highlight. Conclusion: excellent breakfast and good service from friendly staff make the InterConti recommendable.

Rating "Good" because the service and friendliness are average compared to other hotels in this category.
I felt that at one point or another the employees didn't keep the necessary distance - I don't feel like talking to them personally.
I really found the following to be a real shame:
I found a larger sum of money in the Marlene Bar later that evening and handed it to the service staff.
When I asked the next day whether the owner had contacted me, I received the information that they had no information about the process and could therefore be assumed that the owner had contacted me.
In itself, this is still acceptable, and I would have expected such operations to be documented.
However, when the employee at the service desk assumed that I would ask because I wanted the money, I thought it was a cheek!

Very nice but my room was a smoker room but not asked...

A luxury hotel but at the same time informal, which puts at ease every type of clientele, offering services in line with the standard. Staff helpful and smiling, prices often cheaper than in lower category hotels.

Rooms were OK had some problems with the shower but they came around to fix it

A great traditional but modern hotel. Very good beds and rooms, extremely friendly and professional staff. Great breakfast and good bar. A place to relax, relax and come back.

Great, friendly staff. The breakfast is very good. There are deductions for the price of the internet and for the air conditioning in the room, which was very loud for me. The window could unfortunately only be tilted ... otherwise good.

Modern and comfortable hotel, equipped with all those things for a very comfortable stay.

Cancellation difficult - room was booked through the hotel's own platform. With cancellation the hotel could not assign the own reservation number :(

My big dog loves the Intercontinental. And he is very demanding.
That says everything.

The the rooms are ok. Room rates bit on the high side for what you get. Breakfast is diverse, quality highly depends on who s on duty that day. Spa and club make this place bearable. Thumbs up for that. However there is one thing to remember: Don t forget any items in the room when checking out! I can t stress this enough. They will disappear and there will be no help. After I checked out, nobody besides housekeeping was there, yet my (really cheap) phone disappeared. First thing I was told is that the hotel is not responsible and that it was my fault. Very unprofessional handling. Really spoiled the stay.

Wow... They replied and added insult to injury. I already outlined that I was surprised with the hostility of their staff who went to great lengths, even calling me in the middle of the night, with the single mission of making me understand that it is in no way their fault. Now they are basically telling me to contact Lost&Found which I already did, and again, that it's not their fault.
Remember: The item was forgotten on a couch in the room when leaving, and whoever entered the room after us (no guests after there that day) must have taken it with them.

Summary: not even the two stars I gave them, so, downgraded to one.
BEWARE! Choose a different hotel, if you like your stuff.

My family stayed at the Hotel July 7th and 8th we had a wonderful time!!! A special thank you to Axel the concierge who made sure we got to go to a particular jazz club (the A-train) and sent us to a great restaurant as well. He was kind and considerate and he spoke very fine English. I was a foreign language major in college (Mandarin and Russian) so I really appreciate his skills.
The dining room staff was great as well. What a great breakfast! The house keeping staff were also very great. I can not say enough good things about your hotel and my wife and I plan on returning to Berlin and we will certainly stay at your hotel. Thank you again.

What a brilliant hotel, so nice and clean and very covid ready. The room was very well soundproofed and very comfortable.

The bed was soft and had one of the best nights sleeps ever.

The hotel was very covid ready and the bar was closed at this time. The car park was reasonable price and my status was acknowledged.

Easy to get around and very close to the Zoo and shops.

There is a hospital over the road but we heard nothing.

Superb drinks, good club sandwiches, weekday evening piano player.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of an in-house training course. Extremely friendly staff. The rooms including bathroom facilities are very welcoming. I can highly recommend trying one of the many cocktails at the Marlene bar! (try the "Prince of Wales")

Breakfast is well sorted.

What irritated me a little were the "cantine-style" lunch breaks (buffet). I am a fan of buffets, but there was a very large group present, resulting in a fairly loud and IMHO uncomfortable lunchtime atmosphere, standing in line to get a main course. Not my idea of a relaxed lunch.
Also the gnocchi & pasta was not cooked well.
The rest was delicious.

All in all a very nice, clean hotel with friendly attentive staff. I would stay here again.

Terrible hotel. Rooms are small, decor is outdated, too few lifts and service is bad. Was put in a room next to a construction site (with power tools being used from 8am) for 3 nights. Was offered 1 free breakfast as compensation. Lots of much better options at similar prices very close by. Do not stay here.

The best hotel of this price range(under 150) in Berlin. Impeccable service, nice spacious room, great breakfast! I stayed 5 nights then came back again for 4 nights during my Berlin trip. Location can be slightly further from the main tourist attractions but you can reach them within 20 mins walk or easily use taxi/bus in front of the hotel. Highly recommend.

I was there for the seminar. Actually, the hotel is really good. However, the service at the bar was really poor. As a group of 10 people, we were more fond of putting tables together than supporting them. Then no order was taken forever. We would have liked to order something, but were ignored continuously.

Very nice and well maintained hotel. Professional and skilled employees. Very high service. The Spa and Restaurant Hugo is definitely worth an experience. Good breakfast buffet and certainly a hotel where there is room for all also children.

In itself a very fine hotel, in itself super friendly staff. Only the conference guests in the harsh tone, at the buffet, to persuade them to wear the nonsensical mask, was very wrong. So only the one employee.

The hotel has a great service. If I'm in the area again, I'll be back.

super nice hotel. huge hotel with many ammenities. great hot tub to enjoy cold nights untill 23:00. nice swimming pool as well. I enjoed the breakfast as one of the best in Europe with so many selections and variety of choices. the Staff was super nice especially Tino Konig from the breakfast who tried all the time to take care of our needs. the rooms are big and comfortable and there is enough room for the luggage as well. only thing was the shower head which was a bit old and without direct strim as it should (but the showers at the SPA are amazing so....). the Bus station is at the gates of the hotels so everything is practically near. shopping areas with KA DE WE and Bikini was in 5 minuets walking distance and so do the train stations.

Highly recommended in the Berlin City West. Right on the zoo and Europa Center

I visited this particular hotel on Christmas 2017 and I had a very unpleasant experience!
I asked six times (on different days) for the receptionist to take care of the cleanliness of the smoking area (since smoking was not allowed in the room and I knew it while outside it was too cold) that was messing up while the ashtrays were overflowing with the garbage cans and the trash cans they had also overflowed !!
All the time, he answered me positively that he would take care of it, and in fact nothing happened for the five days we stayed at the hotel!
At the end I was afraid to ask ... because I realized it would never be cleaned and just lying to me!
If they do not want smokers, they can write it on their website rather than treat a class of people who have an addiction unmanageable.
Moreover, by renting a room you do not give anyone the right to judge your choices, right or wrong!

A little regular of average elegance. The breakfast is very good but for a five star it lacks a lot of glamor. The pool has its ok. There are many services somewhat absurd by exorbitant prices.

An excellent hotel with a nice indoor pool. I was there for a conference and the whole conference, including the catering, was handled flawlessly. Everything was clean, the breakfasts were great and the staff friendly.

The only odd thing was that every day, without fail, the cleaning staff threw out the hand soap in my room that I'd used once or twice, and replaced it with a new one. Somewhere near Berlin is a snow-capped mountain of little soaps that this one hotel has needlessly thrown out. The ground was previously forest, but was clear-cut to make all the little boxes that the new soaps are put in.

Favourite Hotel in Berlin. Great breakfast, wide range of breakfast dishes, friendly staff, clean pool and fitness area. Modern rooms on the left wing of the hotel.

Good hotel, especially the club level. Lovely for families, only for opening hours of the pool for children are unattractive.
