I was at Electronica last year which was held at Munich and I remember IMI was one of the exhibitors. I remember because they really blew me away with their product design and development solutions especially their automotive camera created for ADAS. The concept of it isn't so much futuristic now since we've been fantasizing such technology for the longest time and cars these days have smart technology already, but I saw that IMI has their vision set much further into the future. I attended the 2019 Automotive World trade show at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan and saw IMI exhibit their motor drive capabilities to support electric vehicles. Working at IMI can be really stressful because of the scale of most outsource manufacturing projects we handle but the one thing I really like about the company is that they encourage leaving the office early during Fridays and going to work later than usual during Mondays. It's a small perk but it's a big motivation for me to use my working hours efficiently. Having a good work/life balance is really important for me and I really appreciate that IMI has the same views as me and probably majority of the employees.
