I have been very happy with my buying experiences with them. Have always been treated fairly and their prices are good on firearms, although not as competitive on accessories. I purchased a muzzleloader and a rifle from them in the past six months. They don't have everything, but their selection is pretty good and they are happy to order an item if they don't have it in stock.
Best place for used guns, usually willing to do some horse trading.

Dixie Gun and Fish is a wonderful little shop that caters to their clientele. I was looking for a specific handgun that was not available anywhere in my community. The staff at Dixie Gun and Fish were happy to special order it for me and I had it in just 2 days.

Occasionally I will look at other gun stores to see what kind of selection they have but the quality of service and price of guns at other places doesn't compete with Dixie Gun & Fish. They have even ordered guns in that they didn't have in stock to accommodate my needs. I will be a life long customer here because of the friendliness of their staff and great prices on their firearms.

This has been a St George staple for years. Ever since Dick left, it isn t the same. You don t feel the home town feel you used to have and you don t get the best deal in town either. It makes me sad to say Dixie Gun and Fish isn t my first choice for buying a gun in St. George anymore.

Very impressed. I just purchased my first pistol from Dixie gun and they will always be my first choice from now on. Staff can answer any question you have on firearms a lot better than the other big box guys in town. Good selection of new and used stuff, and I got a heck of a deal.
I recently went to Dixie Gun and Fish to pick up a new gun as they had the one I was looking for in stock and I typically will shop around but also prefer to buy locally and support a local gun store but in this case as with others in the past they had the best price I could find anywhere (online included) and actually had it in stock where its been backordered at a lot of other places. Also it was nice to check out their new location in the upper portion of the building where they used to be (much easier to find for those not familiar with DG&F). But if you haven't checked them out you really should great place and knowledgeable staff.
Maybe some of the guys are a bit grumpy, but certainly very helpful. The young lady that helped me purchase and order my Kimber was very knowledgeable and patient with me. And the prices were much better than Sportsman's Warehouse who had the same item for much more, in fact above the MSRP set by Kimber. Go figure! I will be back.

The new manager, Taylor, has very poor people skills. He's got this 'my way or the highway' attitude towards customers. Even though I had bought several guns there and given them my business many times he still treated me with an attitude and was making it difficult to work with him on another purchase I was trying to make. I'm done with this place, you guys just lost another regular customer!

Ordered a GLOCK 27 two weeks ago witch should have only taken a few days. After the first week when my gun came in I went to go pick it up and it was the wrong GLOCK. Super disappointed they re-ordered my gun and had it shipped within a couple days. My point is everyone makes mistakes but it's the way you make up for those mistakes shows how you run your business. Brian by far exceeded my expectations and made everything right. Thank you guys for everything and I will definitely buy through Dixie Gun And Fish for all my shooting supply's.
I used to drive down from Cedar City for all my firearm purchases because of the great staff and prices at Dixie Gun and Fish. I now live much further away but still turn to them first for my shooting needs. They treat you just as good if your window shopping, doing research on a certain firearm you might be planning on buying, or if you spend thousands of dollars every time you stop in.
Only reason I'm giving two stars is their prices are lower than Sportsmans Warehouse. Have purchased three guns there in the last month. Every time was treated rudely by the manager, even when I had problems with one of the guns I purchased from them was malfunctioning. Other staff are fine and helpful. They say they can't do trades or price change without his permission. I'm new to town and get the impression from the manager if your not one of the good 'ol boys from St. George then you get the cold shoulder. Surprised that someone with such poor customer service skills would be the manager. I probably won't be darkening their doorway again soon.
