Where is the love button. I supported a mentee with her conference here and the treatment was amazing. The hotel is clean. I am a big hotel critic and this one was spotless and super clean. The rooftop experience is gorgeous and the dining downstairs is great.

The drinks are on the pricey side, but are nice. The atmosphere in the bar is on the tame side. The view on the rooftop is amazing. Watching the sunset from the rooftop bar is worth the experience.
The rooms are nice as shown in the photos, but if you value sleep I strongly recommend not booking at this hotel. Unless you are an early riser or can sleep through extremely loud construction noise.
The views are great, clean room but if your next to the loud cantina/bar across the street good luck trying to sleep(Saturday night) they where yelling and partying til about 6am
Good room and amenities. Good location, easy to come and go. Hard to get in contact with the desk, housekeeping had issues setting the room for a third person. Breakfast food was good but service was incredibly slow.
We went to the rooftop bar at the hotel- the press lounge. It has one of the nicest views and sunset views of a rooftop bar in NYC. Drinks are not too expensive too. Nice place to spend a nicr summer evening with friends or a significant other. Only draw back is its 21 and above only, we did have kids under 21 in our group who wanted to see thr view but could not. It would be great if they let kids up until a certain time. Will be coming back here for drinks and the view!!
Lovely design hotel, but without the friendly welcoming and caring staff we usually experience at Kimpton hotels. Nothing is ever perfect, but a smile goes a long way. Very comfortable bed and we highly recommend getting a room with river and skyline views. Breakfast at PRINT featured a very tasty yoghurt.
Beware, the advertising on the website is different than the actual room you will pay for. Online I booked a premier king room for $400+ For ONE NIGHT. Once there the receptionist put me in a tiny room with a small window and a queen bed. After I made her aware that this is not what I paid for she still insisted that it was indeed what I paid for. Why would I pay 400 dollars for a room that I could find in Harlem for $90. I NEVER leave reviews but this experience was beyond disappointing I couldn t help it...you ve been warned!
This is a NYC hidden gem. Very elegant, classy and with great views. I am a NYer who moved away and come back to visit friends often, this is the only hotel i would stay at. It is a bit off the main drag but at least it gives you room to breathe away from all the craziness.
I'm a regular and simply love the Kimpton chain. Rooms are awesome, location works for me and highly depends on what you're after when visiting NYC. Rooftop is amazing and restaurants choice nearby (hell's kitchen) is great (Print restaurant at the hotel is also superb). Can be slightly noisy on lower floors though. Love it.
Good central location for Manhattan, everything you need within walking distance plus you can get to any other part of the city with ease. This part of town is not busy or congested. Comfortable beds, spacious & clean rooms.
This was my first time staying and the hotel was great! Clean, Modern and located where all the action is. My Wife and I stayed 3 days in the Hudson River Suite on the 14th floor and the views through out the room were amazing! We ate at the restaurant on new years eve, the food was good but nothing in my option. A Staff member named Chris helped us with great diner recommendations and made our stay that much better!
Service is great in the front desk and housekeeping. But the hotel don t have parking to park your car, please guys don t come to New York is just a movie place. but the city is dirty. No places to seat.people are rude. Don t bring your money to New York. Go to Miami Florida, San Diego California. Or get a vacation In the Caribe for the money you spent in New York you can pay for a trip to Cancun Mexico or any way in the caribe.the mayor of the city don t care about this city so sad cause is a beautiful city but dirty. I was walking with my wife and kids and people trying to sell me drugs and every corner. I feel sorry for the cops cause they are great people every time That I need help. They show respect and kindness. Sorry they have to deal with people and the person in charge from this city. Hopefully New York one day become a city to visit with your family and go back to your place telling great story s.
Very nice hotel and well located on the island of Manhattan, close to the subway and downtown, allowing you to walk to major NY attractions. The price is fair for what it offers. Good restaurant, bar and breakfast you can choose from in the hotel or in the nearby area.
Literally worst night in a hotel ever. I checked in at 9pm to get a good night of sleep after the floors in my apt had been worked on. I booked the reservation the American Express Platinum Services, which should have come with loads of perks and upgrades- none. I was greeted by a rude man at the front desk who seemed to be bothered that he had to help me, insisting that I'd make the reservation only moments before I'd walked in the door. That wasn't true, I'd made it at noon, but for some reason at 9pm the reservation still wasn't ready. He offered me no information on the hotel, nothing. Just my room number. I was surprised to see the hotel has no Wifi, unless you pay $16 for it, more terrible service. My room was fine, absolutely nothing special, and tiny. I was not given an upgrade, nor was I offered one. Fine. I went to sleep. But what they failed to mention, was that the jackhammering across the street will wake you up at 7am. They offered me earplugs when I called to complain. They said I paid for a king room and that's what I got. So no to this hotel, no to this service, no to this location and no to this staff. One star all around. I cannot believe how infuriating this is that NO ONE thought to tell their arriving guests that HALF the hotel rooms face this said construction! HELLO! Put me in a different room to begin with and we wouldn't have this problem! OR at least forewarn me! Worst worst service ever. I'm appalled. I woke up at 7am, threw a fit and checked out at 7:10am. It isn't worth it. Not even for free. I always put my clients in this hotel when they arrive to NYC. Never again.
Really cute hotel and friendly staff. If you need to be in that area for your visit it s a great place to say, though not the most accessible otherwise.
If any one is trying to find great deals for hotels and resorts head to . made a reservation for a hotel on there and they had the absolute best prices worldwide!
Beautiful room, comfortable beds. Very clean rooms. Great location near the intrepid water front location. 10 min walk to time square and also to the vase park. Overall the hotel was nice. Staff was very friendly and well aware of safety precautions all wearing mask and signs for social distancing.
Had a great time at the Press lounge. Beautiful rooftop bar with amazing views of midtown. Drinks are expensive $21 cocktail and $17 rose, but you get what you pay for in terms of location.
I cant believe I chose this place for my anniversary..i searched rooms with soaker tub and booked the terrace suite with tub as promised on their site but "none of the terrace rooms have tubs" is what we were told.. we got no accommodation, they even stated limited cleaning services ...during COVID. I AM SO UPSET I asked if they could do something...not to mention we have the smallest terrace witha view of the bigger one which isn't taken. I have had better service at chain hotels. This is the worst booking experience I have ever had ..i feel robbed paying 500 a night for the most basic ...there were better rooms online for 250 for what we ended up getting. How could they advertise a tub in the rooms if there are none. This meant so much to me bc I was pregnant on my honeymoon and this was my first year anniversary. I am scarred and will never book with this company ever. Ps the view isn't special And to add insult to injury we asked for glasses and were given a plastic cup from the break room im so disgusted. I cant believe we have another night here and could've booked the st regis. Im in disbelief...places like this that rob people ruin the beautiful city of NY
Whats crazy is im adding to this as I go and its getting perpetually worse!!!! The concierge won't answer the phone now
Lovely hotel. The view from the big rooms on the upper floors are fantastic. Friendly staff create a great vibe. Writing this having wine during their free wine hour.
The staff was super helpful and accommodating. They made sure I had everything I needed. The front desk personnel weren't very approachable. Overall they were pretty good
Had a late start to my night but was able to gain entree to the rooftop lounge for a few drinks which had a wonderful view of the City and Skyline.I am definitely looking to going back ASAP.One of my current favorites.
Very dusty rooms. I was able to write "clean me" on the glass counter. Windows very dusty as well which is a shame pictures come out foggy because of it. Other guest hairs on the bathroom floor. Toilet seat cover won't stay up so for a female sitting down or trying to squat is a challenge unless you don't mind the toilet seat cover on your back. Tub and shower looked iffy. Dead mosquito I was able to blow off the table. I requested for room cleaning service and was advised they don't have housekeeping in the evenings. I paid more to ensure I would get a tub for a bubble bath for this exhausted essential worker but I'm too scared. Note to self bring your own cleaning supplies! Very disappointing especially since we are celebrating a anniversary.
Also no valet no parking on site as promoted on the websites. Feels like false advertisement. No door man to assist with bags.
Good thing is location, everyone was wearing face masks properly. Excellent views. Great room size!
I was here just one night and didn't eat or drink here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My room was huge, especially for a Manhattan hotel, the bathroom was quite large also. The hotel was clean and modern. The neighborhood is great for midtown too. Hells Kitchen has more local establishments and doesn't cater to the tourists with heavy commericalization like the rest of midtown. Definitely recommend this hotel.
Great size rooms for NYC. Friendly and helpful staff. Had a corner King room which had a good view. We love this area as it s out of the busy Times Square area.
This is another great Kimpton hotel in NYC. The location is not in the middle of town but easily accessible and located close enough to Hell's Kitchen. The views are fantastic, best rooftop bar in NYC for sure. The rooms are spacey, well appointed and much bigger than the typical room in Manhattan. Decorated very minimalist and simple, with great taste though. One thing that I'd like them to redo is the gym, these days we want to be able to get a good workout when traveling, it has some equipment but no windows, it's like a box, so I hope they do something to change this. Did I mention service is great?! Great place overall.
Gorgeous, pet friendly hotel. We actually just went to the Press Lounge on the 16th floor which has incredible views of Mid town and the river. The bar has wonderful outdoor space including a pool and fire pit.
I read the reviews and was a little worried about what some of the others said. I walked in and was very happy with my room. It was clean, bright, and had the usual amenities. I love the toiletries by Atelier Bloem. Couldn't hear much traffic from the 12th floor. The air conditioner was slightly noisy but I just turned it on when I needed it and kept it off most of the time. The bathroom had a very European feel. The one thing I would change is the toilet paper. It was like sandpaper so I went to the local market to buy better quality toilet paper. Price was reasonable for what I received. All in all, I'd definitely stay here again!
Haven't stayed here as a guest, but was at the rooftop bar (the Press Lounge) multiple times. It has a great outdoor space with terrific views (especially at night). Drinks are $20, and are pretty well-made.
