One star because they charge $10/night for low-speed WiFi unless you sign up for their member rewards.
Seriously.
The rooms are great and the staff is helpful & friendly.

For a birthday getaway weekend as a present from my wife. This was our base camp. Located 5 min. away from the Keystone mall. The hotel and room were awesome. Best shower I have had in a hotel room. Only bad part was the mattress was horrible and left me and my wife feeling like we got ran over by a herd of buffalo by the time the weekend was up. Would have been 5 stars if the mattress didn't kill us.

The only decent thing about this hotel is the soft bed. There s no dressers for your clothes, no door to the bathroom besides a see through sliding door, clear shower door providing zero privacy. There was still an old coffee filter in the coffee maker. Vending machine had one selection of soft drink that expired in April 2018. Ice machine didn t work so we had to go to the floor below. No refrigerator. Overall bad experience and I would not stay here again for the money you pay, you d expect everything to be in working order.

Modern rooms, good location, comfortable bed, great shower! The view from our balcony was beautiful. Ashley at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating.

The updated rooms look great. The sliding glass door that doubles between the bathroom and closet is a little odd, but the bathroom itself has a very modern feel with the lighting behind the mirror. The bed was very comfortable as well. The walls seemed a little thin though.

Staff was extremely friendly oh, they went out of their way to help me with a issue they didn't have to help me with. Room was large and comfortable, bedding was very soft and I had a great night's rest.

Met in the lobby for an interview, probably one of the most rich hotels I've ever been in.

Not happy at all with this stay. Have been coming here for years and the hotel was fine. This time even though I am a Platinum Premier I got a substandard room. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling off the wall with mold behind it.

This property appears to be going downhill and is not being kept up like it should.

I love visiting Indy but am not sure I want to stay here again.

Love this Marriott! Nice updated rooms. Great location and walking distance to a lot of restaurants and a big mall. The restaurant has good food. I really enjoyed the Salmon, which had a nice crispy outer layer. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The small lake behind the hotel had a 1 mile walk/running path. The gym was big with a lot of equipment compared to most hotels. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for making my stay amazing! This hotel made me happy to be a part of the Marriott rewards program.

Food and staff are excellent! Bar service and meeting rooms topnotch!

It was great! Stayed for a conference and they re always fantastic at customer service. Really enjoyed the people here including the front desk.

Sat at the bar. Food was delicious. Drinks were cold. Shelly took great care of us.

Attended a work holiday party. The accommodations were very nice and the staff were very polite. Temperature was on the warm side.

Was calling in to make a few separate bookings for a few colleagues. The experience wasn't the greatest since the wait was long and then when we were 95% finished with the booking, the line disconnects and there was no call back.
When I called back to try again, the agent said she couldn't do anything to call back due to how the system is setup. Maybe it is time to upgrade your system to allow for that, especially when it's very inconvenient to go through the process twice.
Also, email confirmation didn't send through, so have to call back a third time.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! We came for a volleyball tournament in June and stayed for a week. The rooms were huge, clean and updated with plenty of space. We also LOVED the view with the little lake/huge pond just outside of our window! It made for a relaxing rest at the end of our days! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!!

We went for a work party. The party itself was nice but the facilities were dirty and freezing. I couldn't take my coat off all night. The bathrooms were disgusting and didn't have any hand towels or toilet paper until we told the front desk.

Updated rooms, restaurant and bar. Very nice. Not located downtown

We attended the Brothers United World AIDS Day gala. The food, the service, and the event space were excellent. Beautiful interior, plenty of space, and with eas of access to both amenities in the hotel and outside in the region. Definitely recommend their space for a business or social event.

I was disappointed with the lack of in-room safe and no in-room refrigerator. Those items seemed like a strange omission.

Nice hotel, rooms near a shopping mall and a lot of restaurants. The on site restaurant is good. Rooms are modern.

Extremely hard to find as it is located in the back of a parking lot. Easy to see from the insterstate, but then another 3 miles to actually get to it. Hotel itself is really nice.

I visited the Indianapolis Marriott North for a conference. The wait staff was very professional in the food and accommodations were great.

I had my wedding here this past weekend and the Marriott went above and beyond for my guests. Amanda the event coordinator was amazing and helped make our day perfect! I would highly recommend this place for any event you may have!!

We were there for my husband's Christmas party. The food was pretty good and the wait staff was excellent

Older hotel with refurbished rooms. Good restaurant with friendly service. Strange arrangement for a bathroom door - the heavy glass closet door slides on barndoor hardware to double as the bathroom door.

A recent stay at this marriott was a was a lot of disappointment. Checked in late on a Wednesday, went down early Thursday morning to buffet wich was horrible, last time went there. Back late Thursday to find room not cleaned, no towels, empty shampoo, dirty water still in ice bucket, sheets just thrown over bed. Same on Fri, Sat, overall a horrible stay, upon check out brother mentions to front desk. Gets a shrug and told will speak to house keeping and giggles. Will not be recommend staying there

Not very safe for a nut allergic person. There for a conference & had all kinds of nuts for making a trail mix.

I recently stayed in the Marriott Indianapolis North and found that in the name of Covid-19 protection the management has eliminated many of the amenities. The in room coffee service is no more. Being a Marriott Bonvoy Lifetime Titanium member typically comes with a breakfast perk in a lounge, or at the hotel restaurant. Marriott spells out that if this is not available or an alternative offer the guest should be provided $100 compensation. The hotel management says that due to Covid that have unilaterally suspended this benefit. The restaurant is closed in the morning for breakfast they say due to Covid, but in the afternoon the bar and restaurant are considered safe enough to be open. In talking to a manager I was told that the closed in the morning in order to reduce the amount of staff needed.

There is not even a way to secure a cup of coffee or tea in the morning inside of the hotel.

The hotel remains clean. There are numerous signs about social distancing. Example is that only two people are permitted in an elevator, but while on the elevator with my wife a safe member got on the elevator with us when the car stopped at an intermediate floor. The staff member was wearing a mask, but her nose was outside of the mask. There should be hand sanitizer stations at each elevator lobby.

Again a generally clean hotel, generally great staff, but management has removed the amenities that make a first class hotel special. Thus, the pluses are clean, great location and staff, on the negative side is the lack of the finishing touches that make a special place of accommodation.

Great place. Totally modern and renovated. I was pleasantly surprised.

The room is very modren looking and comfy. The ceilings are low and the bathroom door is glass that doesn't lock but slides. Overall, a good comfy stay for overnight or a few days.

The place was much nicer than expected and it was a great spot for a reception wedding.

Thier remodel really took it to a new level.
The place just looks great.
I will be returning.
So much to do in Indy and everything is so easy to get to.

Staff is amazing, but the hotel needs some work. The room also had dust on the ceiling from the air vent. I informed the hotel and they said they would clean, but I was on-site for several more days and it never was cleaned.

Was there for A company party and spent the night. What A wonderful hotel. Its so pretty. Had breakfast the next morning the servers were great but the food was just OK at best.

The staff was very friendly, check did not take long at all. Room was clean, quiet, had a great view. Location is in a very nice area, right behind the Fashion Mall, but there was some construction going on which caused some roads to be closed and alternative way was found to get there.

Cheap hotel made to look expensive, one awful rude lady working, no bartender, other staff was very nice and helpful. Never staying at marriot again.

Newly renovated. Rooms are nice, gym is fairly big for a hotel. Located by a lot of stores and restaurants .
