The only Imos I will go to. The pizza is always delicious.
The only Imos I will go to. The pizza is always delicious.
This is the original Imo's location, and also the best as far as I'm concerned. It is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is great!
I felt rushed and had to call my order from the parking lot. I couldn't walk up to the window. And when my order was incorrect it became a hassle to change it so I just kept the wrong order.
Toasted ravioli was delicious. But the pizza was too thin for my liking and was very hard.
Iconic place on Hamptin by the zoo. Food was delicious. I ordered wings and salad lunch special. I feel as though I got uncharged on my bill, but otherwise it was still a great deal.
After going to this location for over 30 years,I guess covid-19 has distorted their customer service. I went there to place an order only to find the door locked, so I went to the window only to be told you need to order online or call it in, but I'm standing right here. NEVER AGAIN !!!
Quality is not the same, and their prices are high. Spent over $50 3 pizzas and wings. Sometimes the pizza is good sometimes not. Either minimum sauce, or you can tell the sauce wasn't prepared correctly. I worked there as a teenager, and the sauce is made in batches, everyone doesn't make it the same, reason for the inconsistant taste. We only ate sauce labeled by 2 people, Marsha the owner, and Ron the manager. I don't want crackers and cheese.
This pizza has no competition it's the best and 1 of all pizza chains with its sauce and fresh toppings from beginning to end no one can duplicate the taste and flavor of imo''s.
It's the first Imo's in St.louis
It's the Best one ...
The best location in St. Louis. It's always a pleasure to stop here and eat. Friendly and pleasant.
Truly is the square beyond compare. Love my IMO's pizza.
Being from Chicago I wasn't expecting much but their breakfast pizza is amazing.
Asked for extra sauce ... got zero sauce
Asked for extra sauce ... got zero sauce
There are things that St. Louis does really, really well. Things like BBQ, riverboats, arches, and insufferable baseball fans. Something St. Louis does not do well apparently is pizza.
This was the worst "pizza" I have ever had. We ordered the "cheese" pizza and the deluxe with a side of "cheese" balls. The "cheese' is actually called provel, I assume it's called provel because rejected government cheese spread didn't test well with the public. Wikipedia says"it is a combination of cheddar, Swiss, and provolone cheeses, and tastes nothing like any of them." I can verify this is correct.
The sauce looked like ketchup mixed with mayo but had none of the flavor. The crust was a thin crisp waiver and perhaps the best part of this unholy creation. We spent the next several hours after eating this debating if it'd be better just to get sick right way or wait for it to happen naturally.
Always pretty good. But they do tend to forget your "extras" when online ordering. Just make sure they put what you requested in the bag before leaving.
Very dissapointing ordered BBQ chicken wings...asked that they be well done. Got boneless chicken wings...when I took them back was told "that's what you ordered" said no I did not I want my money back....got the pizza hungry...dug in & now I notice they gave me bacon only when I ordered bacon & sausage....now what do I ask them to put sausage on?
Lesson learned I will NEVER eat here
again.
I grew up eating Imo's and this pizza place is the best in my opinion.
Being from Chicago this pizza was pretty bad.
If rather eat Domino's or Papa John's and I won't buy or eat either one.
A cracker with some nasty cheese and some toppings.
Sorry can't beat Chicago or New York style pizza.
i have no idea why people like this place, cheese is like velveeta i mean it s truly the worst pizza i ve ever had . I m not kidding
The pizza was terrible they must have changed the recipe it used to be delicious
WOW! This is some very good pizza! Service is great and the atmosphere is most definitely akin to the town, stop by and get the meat lovers and take in this must have!
The workers at fantastic ! Going here makes me feel at home. My favorite Manager is Justin! I can t pick a favorite worker they all are just great . Best imos!!
I would love if I could get Imos in Pensacola the best Pizza anywhere
At first, I was nervous because I went in the evening and its mostly young people, but the food was good. I tried going early on time but the food wasn't as tasty as night shift. So the young people cool in my eyes. lol
Did a call in order for some toasted ravioli and pepperoni pizza. It was ready when I got there checkout was easy and it was delicious. Heads up - St. Louis style means they re going to cut it into weird little squares. The kids absolutely loved it and us parents didn t mind either. Will definitely visit this pizza spot again in the future if possible.
Pizza was cooked to ABSOLUTE PERFECTION idk what they do differently at this location from the rest but keep it up
Thin and greasy, but loaded with toppings. Restaurant was clean and food came fast.
Great service! This was our first try at St. Louis style pizza. It was good but not great. If you're into sauce, this might not be the pizza for you. The cheese bites and toasted ravioli were excellent. I'd definitely go again but more for the sides than the pizza. I'm from the midwest and deep dish or pizza hut is what I grew up on.
This happens to be my families favorite location. Today there was a misunderstanding about our order (never happened before) and we had been waiting for almost an hour when I went to check to see how long it would be. I was told 6 mins. No big deal. Food is always worth waiting for . An associate came out and apologized with a refunded ticket. They paid for my $40 order plus $20 more. They didn't have to do that at all. The food here is always fresh, delicious and customer service is the best in the area. Thank you Imo's. Forever my choice in pizza.
Decent but I've had better. I'm not a fan of thin crust. Boneless chicken wings are great
Clean and quite establishment. Food was good and the employees were nice
Nice people, but something weird about the sweet-tasting tomato sauce. Not my thing, but maybe you'd like it?
Good food and okay service. They always seem overwhelmed and under staffed. I like the meatball sandwich.
Awesome pizza. Toasted ravioli and cheese bread are great.
Generally good but there are days when the crust is burned. I checked my pizza before leaving and the guy said go ahead and try it you'll probably like it. I hate over cooked/burned food. I know what I like.
The following phone call took place at 8:35 PM
*ring ring*
Girl answers the phone-Silence
Me> Ummm. Hello?
Girl>>Yeah.
Me> Oh, hi. I need to place an order.
Girl>>Okay.
Me>Alright then. It's going to be delivery.
Girl>>Alright
I proceed with the order, and tell her the address. She then asks her associates if they deliver to the address I provided. They verify that yes, they do.
Me> Okay, awesome.
Girl>>Is that it?
Me> Yes. Can you read me the total.
Girl>> Oh yeah. It's gonna be $24 (and some change)
Me>Great. How long do you think it'll take?
Girl>>Ummm. Should be about an hour.
Me>>Sounds good. Thank you.
**Keep in mind, this IMO's location was .9 mi from my hotel**
9:00PM-Phone call from delivery person to verify our address and to let us know they are on their way.
10:10 With nobody ever showing up, I finally call IMO's to inquire about where my Pizza Pie could've gone. The same girl tells me they'll call me back.
10:45 I hear a rapping at my hotel door. My pizza pie has finally arrived, and at a discounted price.
In Summation: Although I had to be the person to command the entire phone call, asking for my own total, pizza prep/delivery time, etc., and having to wait 2 hours to actually get my pizza, it was well worth it. I nearly starved, but that made it even more satisfying. Thank you, IMO's for this experience. You've changed my life.
Food was good. Very small and cramped seating. Wait time on food was longer than expected. Service was good.
A must stop whenever we are in St. Louis or driving through. We have tried other locations but this one is our favorite. Right off the interstate and almost always busy. I don't normally eat veggie pizza but theirs is really good. Veggies are sliced thin & the Provel cheese adds to it. Located near the St Louis Zoo & just down the street from the Science Museum. Parking can be a challenge if they are busy.
Imo's is the best tasting pizza to me.
Every time I am in St. Louis I must eat at Imo's.
My experience at Imos's was GREAT!! The staff was warm and happy to accommodate us!! EXCELLENT
Overcooked imos with not quite the flavor punch I'm use to with Imos.
The cashier was super nice. They also have Hi C which is pretty cool.
Love this Imos location! Me and my husband drive from our house in florissant just to come to this Imos location because its way better than the Imos by our house. Every was hot and fresh. EXCELLENT Quality!
Great place, great specials, friendly staff, nice dine in area!!!
I placed an order online and it took over an hour for my pizza to be done and it was only a pick up order!
Provel cheese on garlic bread, provel cheese on pizza, and my first experience with T-Ravs (sp?)... Very worth it. I'd eat there again.
The food and staff was great! And the food was reasonably priced.
Staff is nice. We love it! We did a video on YouTube: Wallstalk2 come check it out!
It's a staple food for Saint Louis. MUST TRY THE DELUXE PIZZA!
Best imos hands down. I gave up on imos at first until I got hip on the Hampton location. The other locations are gross and taste like cheese and pizza sauce on a saltine cracker.
The staff was nice and friendly but the pizza was red if u love cheese don't go there
Ordered an Imo's pizza!!!!! what happened? It's not the same... Coming off the list... BYE
Imos adds a $2.50 delivery charge to your bill .you would obviously think that goes to the person that delivers the pizza . IT DOESN'T ! Imos will tell you it goes to the company not the person that delivers it. If you ask them why they have told me it shouldn't and it's a BS policy. Be aware you pay a $2.50 delivery change to the company then you need to tip the delivery person or stiff them and feel like a jerk .
The next time you order a pizza from them ask them who gets the $2.50 delivery change they add to your bill.
The food is amazing! best pizza in St Louis! I liked that they have a drive-thru pick-up window. The service is fast and friendly definitely the best Imo's in St Louis the only thing that would make it better is if they would bring back the Miss Pac-Man tabletop arcade game
If you order from this Imo's tell you don't want Nikki Askew as your delivery person. She was on the wrong street looking for my address & then argued with about where I lived.
Great the chain is local, but their pizza is only fair.
Best pizza, hands down. We've been to almost every state in the U.S. and have eaten pizza in almost half of them. The pizza is fresh and flavorful. We were quickly acknowledged when we came in. We were able to order immediately to our surprise. The food was delivered to our table which was wiped down before we got there but there were many tables covered and needed bussing. They were not busy the night we came but the stay-at-home orders were on the verge of being released so it may have been busy just before we arrived. No one came to check on us but we were able to get everything we needed. I would definitely order out if you are able but don't miss an opportunity to taste it!
Havent been in over 10 years....... Just as good as i remembered
We had never tried St. Louis style pizza before and thought we'd give it a shot. Imo's has great reviews so we gave it a try. The crispy, thin crust of their supreme pizza was to die for! We also had the toasted ravioli and it was awesome! The premises were clean and tidy. The staff were very kind and we received our order quickly. We'd definitely recommend this place for authentic St. Louis flavor and atmosphere!
