Dessert was nice, excellent Tiramisu. The drinks were mediocre at best, Spritz served in tumbler (should be in a wine glass) with cheap Prosecco, Mojito had strange fake lime cordial with little alcohol. The other food looked good, would go for food but avoid drinks.

The brie truffle Pizza was perfect. This is really one of the best Pizzas I had.

Great Italian food at an upscale place. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable about the food they are serving.

Food was above average but definitely agree with some other comments that it's overprice d.

Very expensive for what you get. Food is okay, some dishes are good, others less tasty. Service is fine. There are much better options for this money.

It s la forgettabout it. The staff must have been overwhelmed by the situation, but so is the rest of the world. Overpriced and badly cooked food. How can Italian go so badly wrong??

If I were the owners, damage control can be done by an invite to return to a better dinning experience. Alas, they chose to brand my review as fake news. Such is the view of the thin skinned.

Their Chicken was really unique. If liked its spicy taste a lot. The Pizza Margarita was also so super good !

It was a lovely ambiance! Tasty and aldente dishes was part of the menu. Their sourdough pizza is a must try. Their friendly and all smiles staffs is a plus for the cozy dining experience.

We had a very bad experience at this restaurant.. The person who served us - did not get even a single order right! We ordered a small pizza but received a large size, we ordered a bread basket as starter but didn t receive, we ordered juice for our daughter but didn t receive it either. Did not expect this kinda service from such an expensive, five star rated restaurant. Never going there again!

Food is very mediocre (Pasta overcooked and pizza was bland), service not great and overall very expensive for what you get.
Only nice part is location.

What s also amazing is how they charge for extras - e.g. tap water.
And most extraordinarily for an Italian restaurant - they charge for parmesan cheese on your pasta!
I have never been to any Italian restaurant that does this. It s a normal compliment to the meal. Really quite disappointing and such a greedy thing to do.

Then worst of all, it looks like they are now posting lots of fake reviews to counter the honest feedback (look at the reviewers - typically just one review and the type of language they use).

Take the feedback and improve. You have a nice location. But don t try and fob people off with fake reviews. That s just deceitful

Great Italian restaurant.
The food is really Italian taste and the people are so nice.

Service staff were really hard working and friendly, they always go an extra mile. The food was really good especially the Pizza. I will be back more times to come.

I was going to give up on finding a good Italian restaurant and Pizza place in Singapore. I have concluded to myself that there was no way to find one anymore. However, I am glad that the miracle come that I found La Forketta. The Pizzas were definitely at an authentic Italian standard.Their pastas were fresh, homemade and delicious.

This is the highest quality Pizza I ever tasted in Singapore. Their Alcoholic Cocktails very well decorated and very refreshing.

We enjoyed the wood-fired pizzas and grilled octopus.
Customer service is excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive.

But one staff stood out, we would like to commend Arnell.
We noticed the difference in his service when our food is being served.
On how he helped arrange the plates and wine glass, that shows his knowledge in proper fine dining service.

Definitely will go back and recommend this place.

Terrible experience
Service: they refused to substitute spaghetti for fettuccine for my order of carbonara. They also brought an expensive mineral water without asking if we wanted it. The food took nearly 40 min to come and also after closing the bill it took very long time before bringing back my credit card. All this despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty.
Food: The spaghetti was hard, really hard and the carbonara sauce so runny it wouldn't even stick to the pasta, it was like eating soup with uncooked noodles
Ambience: was reasonable ok, pretty fancy and clean.
Value: Not woth - 1 spaguetti carbonara + 1 mineral water = 45 dollars.

Lovely service with great tasting food and ambience! Celebrated hubby s birthday and service crew was great with good advice on whether food ordered was too much or too little. Seafood linguine and steak tasted great! Steak was cooked to perfection. Their classic 20 layered chocolate and peanut butter cake was so sinful but good. Enough for party of 4-5 to share if you want a super rich dense dessert after your meal. Prices all well worth the service, food and ambience!

Average food, wine bought off the rack in restaurant and charged another $20 to consume there? That's $5 more than a nearby competitor

Super grumpy. My kids were looking forward to pizza. We turned up and it is closed?! I truly wish websites would be updates with accurate timing. The staff were not apologetic even after I showed them the website we used for directions. Maybe I should have called and booked. All good we are happy at our local Mexican place now.

Who charges money for tap water in Singapore? Overpriced restaurant, sub par service, food is decent though...

Food and service were incredible. Highly recommend. I'm a business traveler who doesn't usual go outside of the central city for dinner, but I will definitely be going back..!

The place was so cozy and it felt very homey. The Pizza Margarita and their Signature Pizza La Forketta we shared was so good, this was the standard of Pizza I got when I was in Italy. This was Wood Fired Pizza. The waiter told me the Ravioli lobster and the Lambs Chops were so good. I was it very unique and creative that the Lamp had a delicious mint jelly on the side. Their lamb is something I will sure go back for. The service staff were patient was very friendly. The service was fast considering it was a Saturday night. Me and my family will come back for sure.

Good and nice environment. Try beef carpaccio, it is delicious

Very nice location, great food. Italian food is normally full of carbs and makes one feel very heavy but not at La Forketta, you can enjoy amazing pasta or pizza without that stuffy feeling at the end. I highly recommend their lasagna.

Sat outdoors, nice and breezy. Good ambience. Tried their grilled octopus, beef, scallops and everything was perfection. Would certainly return a second time.

Good food, generous portions, relatively good service

Unbelievably bad service... Even by Singapore standards. The food was ok, but nothing exceptional. The difficulty obtaining any service, and the poor service that was given, was exceptional though!
But what motivates me to write such a poor review is that my friend, who paid the whole bill for the table, as it was a birthday lunch for his wife, asked for the service charge to be removed, very reasonably justifying guys request. But the staff rather rudely refused.
There's so much choice at Dempsey, or elsewhere if you want good Italian, that there's really no need to eat here.

Very bad service. Unfriendly staff at the entrance. Very unwelcoming, looked at us as if we cannot afford to eat there. Food is so so only. Can get better Italian food else where. And charged us for tap water.

I ordered a sea bass and my Son ordered a salmon. Since we were having fish, they recommended us a white wine, therefore we choose Savingnou Blanc. It had an excellent fruity taste. And it goes really well with their exquisite and delicious Wild Seabass and Norwiegant Salmon.

Pleasant experience all around. Service was excellent too. Wil definitely visit again

The waiter is cute and friendly.

First impression already bad. Sticker for napkin, waste of plastic. Can use a ribbon or string to tie. No waste. Napkin had stains on it. Very off-putting.

The Italian rice ball lacked seasoning. Personally i would have preferred a bit more black pepper to make it a little more memorable.

The tagliatelle was very well cooked, al dente, very pleasant texture. The stewed beef felt a little dry. The tomato sauce was too acidic, with a lingering bitter after taste.

The worse is the burnt pizza. Oven too hot, onions were burnt before they became cooked. Centre of the pizza was soggy, edge burnt until black.

Inc a bottle of water n all add ons, $114.17.

We were going for seafood that night. La Forketta is one of the few places I have been to in Singapore that uses fresh top quality seafood.

The waitress was rude from time we entered
She took the wrong order and refused to change it insisted we eat the same.
When we refused pay for the order we did not eat the owner threatened to call the cops.
We insisted she should call the cops so she cut the wrong charges from the bill and made a new one
Never ever recommend anybody going to this restaurant which has such horrible service and where they do not care for their customers.
Being in a hospitality industry if the owner is so rude what do u except from the staff. No wonder they have a horrible rating.

This is one of our regular go to for Italian as it is near our home. Today being Monday is a slow night, in any case,
We ordered Pizza Capaccio and Fried Calamari and boy was it good as usual.

Truly enjoyed the sourdough pizza. We also ordered tiramisu and prawn thick spaghetti.

Will have been really happy if I get to see my favourite Aglio olio and truffle funghi pizza on the menu? I found that the serving for the pasta to be small too, though the texture and taste really aced!

Overall a great experience at La Forketta. Will return!

Top notch Italian food, surely this is a Singapore Italian restaurant that made us feel with have traveled to Italy in terms of food quality, service, ambiance and value. Nice place for dinner with friends with both indoor and outdoor seatings. Staff are very attentive and great service. Lovely pasta and pizza. The seafood salad is very substantive.

This is my first time I dine at La Foketta and I am loving it.

Their pizza is authentic, onion focaccia and grilled sea bass is really worth trying. Ambient is great and provides excellent service.

ordered sparkling water, tiramisu, lemon sorbet, arrabiata, canneloni, burrata and some bread. Everything tasted excellent. The cheese melted in the mouth, the bread was wafer thin, crisp almost like a puff pastry with tangy goodness. The lemon sorbet just hit the palette with a refreshing blast. The tiramisu was creamy, the alcohol and fingers just perfect! One of the best burrata and tiramisu i have ever had. The only drawback was the glasses for water were not washed properly and gave off a funky smell.

Balancing out all the clearly fake reviews the restaurant has paid for. Overpriced bad food.

I have tried many Italian restaurant in Singapore, but I can fully guarantee you that this Italian restaurant is on a whole other level.

Hi La Forketta, you lost 2 regular costumers this evening. We ordered GT when we arrived. Got the wine before GT. Fish over cooked. Just kids serving. They did not know anything about food ore wine. Ordered specfic expresso and Cognac at the same time. It took 10 min, and
Cognac in the wrong glass.
We have been regular for over 2 year here but newer agan sorry missing the old personell.

Food was good. Pasta portion sizes were too small. Far too expensive. Our food for our family of six came out at six different times.

Very polite and welcoming waiter. The food was spectacular !
