The Ideal bite is my home away from home. Amazing food, not just frozen or pre-made, but fresh and delicious. I loved the classes before quarantine and think that there is something there for everyone. One of my favorite places and I wish I could go higher than 5 stars!!!!

Not your typical corner restaurant, so much better. I have enjoyed everything I have had here because it is as close to home made as you can get in a restaurant. I particularly like the vegetable couscous and the apple quinoa salads. They even have a pop-up restaurant in The Palms Building downtown Detroit.

The Rosemary Feta Fries with aioli gets an A+ from me. The customer service and 1-on-1's with Amy and the staff = A++. So glad that Alysia G. cared to introduce me to The Ideal Bite Community Kitchen.

A little expensive for your neighborhood diner but it is delicious.

Eaten here over 5 times and not an issue. Everything is great so far and their in house menu has specials other than the fixed menu on the website. I'm impressed by the level of professionalism, care and most importantly consistency. Absolutely worth the price when the ingredients are fresh and well sourced.

The food is amazing! It s fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Make sure to try the desserts, worth every bite! I also love that they are environmentally conscious! We are regular customers.

This place was so good! The woman who worked the counter was so kind and told us about how the place opened and their story. The food was amazing and you can tell it s not just frozen or reheated food, it s freshly made. The Mac and cheese was delicious and you get a large portion- I couldn t even finish it and was able to bring it home.

Very disorganized. Food came out at all different times. Orders were wrong, overcooked, or missing parts. Ran out of burger patties and said they needed to call the head chef in from home to make more, so couldn't replace mistaken order. Offered other menu item to replace. An effort to make it right, but an inability to do so. What we got was pretty good, but over salted and not overly flavorful otherwise.

They have great food and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Half-way through a fantastic apple and brie panini with garlic aoili, the proprietor drops off a round of cupcakes to all of the patrons because we "looked like we'd enjoy them."

So added bonus: apparently the employees can also read minds because the cupcake was awesome.

Absolutely excellent food and fantastic customer service. The environment was enjoyable and the clerk and chef were kind. One of the best burgers I have ever had and I intend to come again at my earliest convenience!

My boyfriend and I ate here yesterday. The food was amazing! You can taste the quality. Will definitely be back again soon!

I was introduced to Ideal Bites when the cafe at my office building was being renovated. The food was amazing every time, regardless of what I ordered. As a result, I sought out their bricks and mortar location in Farmington. It has become my favorite place for brunch. The Shrimp and Cheese Grits are out of this world, and if they are out when you get there (yeah they really are that good), try the Pork Belly Benedict. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, and if you are too busy to cook during the week, be sure to check their refrigerator case for some wonderful, pre-packaged meals to go--all made from fresh ingredients by the talented chefs at Ideal Bites. I highly recommend the Hungarian Mushroom Soup! Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the food is unforgettable!

Checked them out at the Palmer Building downtown pop up ....the turkey panini is amazing and the cheesy potatoes delicious!

The absolute best local restaurant! Everything is made fresh and from scratch. All of the soups I've had there are amazing. They always come with fresh made croutons. I often crave their bacon tomato panini with their special garlic aioli! The best sandwich hands down. They also have an excellent cous cous side dish and great salads. No this is not a soup kitchen btw but they make excellent soup.

Had lunch with a friend here a little while back, and decided to try this new place. The food was AMAZING, and super decently priced. I was raving to friends and family about this place. Such a nice atmosphere and the staff is friendly. Will definitely be back.

I love stopping in to the Ideal Bite to see what goodness they are cooking up. I ordered catering from them for a board meeting and everyone raved how good the food was AND got seconds. So glad to have them in our community.

The food at this place is ridiculously fresh and, oh my goodness good! If you are looking for a good bite of food, give them a try. Their roasted cherry tomatoes on a sandwich are so good. I like it so much, I have been there 4 times since.

Great place for lunch. Varied menu with something for everyone. Everything is made to order with fresh ingredients. It was hard to decide what to get because so many things looked good. They also do take out and catering.

I've never been disappointed by Amy Jean and the rest of the team! Such high quality, fresh ingredients and amazing customer service. They are doing curbside pickup and have additional "take and bakes" during shelter-in-place. Unique menu items and creations, don't miss the sweet potato wedges, apple balsamic quinoa salad, rosemary feta fries, decadent cocoa nibs brownies!

Really sweet staff. They go the extra mile to make there own sauces. Food always tastes super fresh and tasty. Haven't tried the baked goods yet but they honestly look too good to try. They even support the community by hosting cooking classes for kids. We are lucky to be so close.

I stopped in just see what it was like and ended up eating a delicious lunch. Staff is incredibly friendly. I will definitely be returning to try more on the menu.

Read about them on Facebook last week and went to try it today- the food was INCREDIBLE! The service was great and the guy at the counter was adorable. Will definitely be back asap

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. The phone call to place the order and pay for the order went smoothly. During this time of social distancing,after a quick phone call and car description upon arrival, my order was brought to my car.
The food was delicious! The whitefish dinner was plentiful for my husband. The chicken parmesan sliders had great flavor. The BBQ panini was enjoyable also.
We ordered several baked goods: gluten free carmelita, chocolate cupcake, and take and bake cinnamon roll pecan bread pudding. All of it was plentiful and delicious.
I will order from this establishment again.

Good quality, great bread. They didn t add too much bacon, it was well balanced. And I really enjoyed the avocado.

Sandwich was $9, can of Diet Coke was $2

Healthy, & unusual flavors! This place found me a new favorite comfort food.

Our new favorite restaurant and it will be yours too - give it a try! Menu changes with the seasons, everything is homemade and tastes fantastic. We have had everything from soups to salads to sandwiches, and desserts. Everything is 5 stars!! Service is great, can't say a bad thing about this place.

I brought my 5 year old in to try I the place out. The place is clean and nicely set up. We ordered a hot dog, French fries, and a Turkey sandwich. The fries were cold, and the sandwich was missing ingredients. They took it to fix it. In the mean time my kid finished her food and was ready to go. Never actually got my sandwich back. The food tastes good, but for the cost one would expect that it be cooked correctly and served hot. In the end I spent just under 20$ for a hot dog and cold fries. Bummer I was really hoping for a better dining experience.

Very friendly atmosphere! Owner's very nice. Food is exceptional. Prices are a little high but you get quality food for the price! Love it!!

Everything fresh and homemade

Had heard good things about this place, but had not been there. Today we stopped in for a late lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal. Freshly prepared food with great combinations. We ordered Whitefish sandwich, and Turkey melt with bacon and avocado along with bacon and cheese fries. Very tasty and I highly recommend. We will be returning. The baked good were also yummie.

First time stopping by here for something to eat. When I left was already planning when I could come back to try more menu items.

I have used their catering and stop by frequently. Their Sunday brunch is excellent. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious.

For delivery, I ordered the Mustard Braised Pork Belly Sliders with garlic aioli, Veggie Couscous, Butternut Squash Soup and Pecan Bread Pudding. I sampled everything and enjoyed each item. This kitchen takes deliciousness to a new level of restaurant street food. You can taste the love and devotion to quality with every bite. Everything was really fresh, packaged using environmental mindfulness, and delivered in a timely manner. Thank you to everyone at Ideal Bite Community Kitchen. Well Done!

What a great little place! Food was excellent. Well the fries were a little salty for me, but the burger was excellent and the banana bread was delicious!

Very good place to eat had the red eye burger and the feta fries also the Ghirardelli brownie taste great if you like dark chocolate highly recommended

My wife has visited several times. She said the All you can eat Fish Fry on Friday is phenomenal. We decided to stay local and try the Mother's Day Brunch. Ideal Bite Community did not disappoint. They had a variety great dishes. Good value for the menu. Truly a wonderful Mother's Day experience. Enjoyed by all. Looking forward to the All you can eat Fish Fry!

This place has the best food!!!!!! Completely no contact. Every time my husband and I have eaten here the foo has been awesome . We had the fried chicken and peach sliders and barbecue brisket sandwich yummy give them a try the next tome you re in the area.

This place is a favorite for my entire family. We grab dinner, a quick salad or dessert and it's always consistent. The staff are the friendliest and knowledgeable. This place feels like home and that you're amongst family anytime you stop in.

We have been enjoying the fresh food here. Trying different menu items each time. Burgers are delicious and moist, soups, amazing. Friday fish fry is great.

I've been here more times this week than I'd like to admit. The customer service, food, and ambiance is great. The food is a little pricey but it's high quality, freshly prepared food that you can never get from a fast food restaurant. My favorites are the turkey melt and the chicken Cesar salad. The Cesar dressing is absolutely delish. It's great to have a wonderful restaurant like this right in the community. They cook food just like I would if I had the time and energy. When I'm too tired to cook I visit them for a carryout and have no regrets.

Omg!! Fabulous food! Will b back for sure! Just a word from the wise though...if u r doing the kiss my glass class and she tells u to order food b4 the class....don't do it!!!! You are not allowed to it during the class. Very disappointed we had to eat the food ice cold and hard!!!

Love this restaurant! My husband brought home the sweet potato wedges with honey & garlic aioli sauce one night and I was hooked! I definitely recommend the turkey melt and garlic chicken sliders! They also have gluten/vegan cupcakes that are to die for! Highly recommend!

What an excellent restaurant! I really enjoyed the friendly and kind service they were super accommodating. I was so pleased to find a restaurant that offers grass-fed and grass-finished meat with so many healthy options. I really enjoyed the gluten-free option with the grass-fed burger! I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a very nice atmosphere with high-quality michigan-based food. I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend this eatery to others and I'm sure I will be back very soon!

Fresh and unique, with interesting flavors and an airy modern environment. Happy customers and friendly staff. Also, some of the best sandwiches I have ever consumed. Ever.

Love the food here! Mac and Cheese is fantastic, I typically get the Turkey Melt or burgers. My only issue is the fries are not good. they do the very thing shoestring style which in my opinion is the worst way to cook a potato. I wish they did the standard cut.

I heard good things about this place and decided to make the journey here and try it out. The food and presentation is great and it tastes delicious, but its a bit on the pricy side. The service was alright for a quick service restaurant. The only thing that knocks this place down a star is the location in a strip mall. This type of food I usually wouldn't associate with this type of suburb if the location was more central such as downtown Royal Oak, Birmingham, Detroit or Ann Arbor I think the lines would be out the door because the food is that good. Definitely worth a try if your in the area.

Pass by this at least once a week and never paid attention to what it was. Stopped in for lunch today on my day off. It is nicely decorated. Self seating or takeout. The employees were nice. The food was very good.
