Went to the store to try and get my laptop fixed. Person in the repair department was immediately rude and adversarial. He was condescending when I asked if there was any way the repair could be done faster than 7 business days (Apple had previously told me this repair could be done there within 1-3 business days). Left without a repair. Suprised by the experience. Would not go back. Awful customer service.
Update: took an Uber to an apple store right after, they were able to see me without an appointment. They were able to do diagnostics on my laptop and are going to fix it and get it back to me on Monday (3 total days, 1 business day). Not sure if the Apple store is just that much more competent, capable and/or resourced than the micro store, but they certainly have better custom service.
Takeaway: if you want to be treated respectfully by a place that actually gets the job done efficiently, then do not go to the micro store.
