Traumatic experience - would not go back nor recommend. I had booked in for a nice relaxing pamper of treatments for an upcoming wedding but did not find it relaxing at all, quite the opposite. Ended up leaving in a mess and having to book an appointment for the next day at another salon to rectify what the girl did. Not professional at all and they were more bothered about receiving payment than the state of my face.

When I moved to Edinburgh almost 7 years ago, I searched for a beauty saloon with ambiance and good beauty therapies specially facials. Since discovering Moi I have had best beauty treatments. I have even started my daughter's beauty treatments as well as I trust Clare's advice on skin care. I will highly recommend Moi to all not only for the standard and array of beauty treatments but the professionalism and friendliness of staff and excellent ambiance.

I was not happy with the way the salon dealt with my feedback and complaint. They are not receptive to feedback and very defensive. In fact the salon doesn't even have a mechanism for feedback or complaints nor do they have a complaints procedure. So, I have moved to a different and more customer focused salon.

I am new to the area and went to this salon in the hope of getting a walk in appointment for gel/shellac nails and to tidy up my eyebrows on Saturday. They couldn't fit me in for nails but said they could do my eyebrows. First of all I have Ombre eyebrows so the shape of my brow is literally tattooed on. She did a terrible job of 'tidying' the eyebrow up, leaving hairs that I had to pluck out when I got home.

She also ripped some of my skin off underneath the eyebrow, which she didn't tell me until the very end. She put tea-tree oil on and said if it is sore tomorrow to use a tea-tree based product on the damage. I was quite shocked and I don't like complaining by this point I just wanted to get out of there. I was still charged full price despite this happening to me, and three days later I still have a sore red patch that is scabbing over. Would avoid for eyebrows and would not recommend the salon.

Came here in july for HD brows which I've had done several times before in various salons, the therapist barely greeted me and didn't ask me any questions about how I would like the treatment done, what should be a 30 minute appointment was over in 10 minutes, and essentially a wax, tint and cartoon drawn eyebrows. When I explained I wasn't happy paying 30 quid for the service the manager asked the therapist if she'd given me any kind of consultation, the therapist said yes which was a complete lie!! I was told as a 'goodwill gesture' they would only charge me 20 instead. I was made to feel like I was lying and being difficult which as a paying customer expecting a certain level of service was unfair, would not recommend Moi beauty to anyone.
