Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen Review

Localized at a strategic location, Ibis Hotel on Bencoleenn is absolutely the ideal hotel if one has a convention to attend at Suntec. Took me about less than 10 minutes to get there via Taxi. I adore the customer service. The staff are very warm and welcoming. Yes, cleanliness is well practiced.

I had the opportunity to dine at TASTE, the flagship restaurant and bar of hotel located at the ground floor. Ordered Caprese salad -- such interesting presentation. Love the customer service! I asked gazillion of questions to the food servers regarding Singapore and they tried to answer them all accurately.

Passed the hotel and in need of toilet. Found the toilet in lobby only for hotel guests. Bad experience! Which hotel restrict its lobby toilets to passers by?

We were on a tour trip from India. The room was excellent.

Stayed here for the entire month of October and November - 17
Room has king size bed, iron box, iron, kettle , 2 cups, coffee and tea powder, mini refrigerator, 4 racks of open cup board, hangers (extra hangers will be given, if asked), Locker. Laundry room is on the 3rd floor.
2 towels , 2 face towels, shampoo , body wash , hand wash will be replaced/refilled every day while cleaning the room.

Staff is very friendly. They are available 24/7. Wi-Fi through out the hotel.
The room has TV which has only 5 channels.
There is room service everyday.
Bugis , little india is just 5 mins away from the hotel.
The new MRT station makes it easier to access the hotel.
The station is located just 2 mins away. Station stop name bencoolen street.

Cons:
The shower room is small. Need some practice to take shower without hitting the wall

Good value, good location. All you would expect from a large hotel chain. Good breakfast included. All the staff we spoke to were very helpful.

Highly recommend for business travellers. The room and it bed is cosy for rest. Easy to access to bugis town, local food, bars, popular Buddhist Kuan Yin Temple, shopping and etc. Taxi is easily available.

Went for the buffet lunch at Taste, spread was limited but taste good.

- Breakfast / chaotic, many people - loud and restless
- There is a great deal of unrest in the corridor pretty early

Was there for the buffet. Selection was average at best, but for the price my group paid, it was worth it I suppose

Good location. Between MRT stations. Near Bugis St market and lots of street food outlets. Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast included in tariff.

The quality of the room is average. But as a business trip stay is just enough.

The hotel located in the heart of the city. The room is nice and new. Check in and check out is quick. Only wifi is not working very well in the evening time

It was a good experience staying at ibis on Bencoolen Singapore. Room was clean. Not too much expectation but satisfied. The AC was not working when we checked in but was promptly fixed. Not surprised about the small room & bathroom, but it was neat & set up properly. If you are looking for a budget hotel in Singapore, this is a good choice.

Good location near Bugis Junction (tourist area). Just behind a great temple for those Budhist worshipers. Standard Accor treatments

Have stayed there the last weekend. i have made online booking for a TWIN BED ROOM. Upon checked in, the staffs told me they got only queen size room. We make noise and later a room with twin bed was given to us.

The staff at this hotel provided phenomenal service. Bumi...Thank you for everything

Hotel rooms are small. Would be ideal for a business stay as most time is spent out of the room. No swimming pool. Shower cubicle is on the small side. Not very suitable for a vacation stay. No included breakfast.

When I opened the door, the public toilet (multipurpose toilet) was spread and it was an interesting room called the bed in the back (Japanese seems to complain)

Need to improve the lift system.
Please change the breakfast menu. I stay there for few month ready but every day saw the same menu.
The worst is indian vegitable curry not seems to be so indian.
My self as a hindu feel shame to accept it bcz other fellow friends from other races, expecialy europions will feel bad about our indian foods. Please have changes on it.

The front desk is friendly and needs enough. The rooms are clean and functional. The bed is high and comfortable and comfortable. Speaking in the hallway comes directly into the room. There is no problem because the price is the price.

This Ibis is a lot better than most. The staff are friendly and helpful, they provide free water will lend a transport card.

This is the second use.
Close to the subway station, there is a 7-Eleven next door, which is convenient for late arrivals.
Kannon-do is just behind the scenes, and it is only a few minutes walk to the area around Bugis. After visiting other places for sightseeing, you can easily go to the area around Bugis by putting your luggage.

Great room clean. Good to have guest laundry brilliant idea why don't other accor facilities offer!

Clean, fuss-free business stay. Service is consistent with all ibis hotels with consistent, free and reliable WiFi.

cleaning service is not thorough at all. there has been an empty bottle from previous guest under the desk since we arrived, we stayed 4 night and the bottle is still there when we checked out.
also, clearly glasses was not washed properly, maybe only drained on the tap. we used the glass to drink wines the night before and the next day after cleaning the glasses still smell of wines.
we would expect a much better cleaning and hygienic services from accor hotels, especially ones in singapore, one of the cleanest country in the world.

Service is rather good. Its position's available for tourists traveling around for food, for entertainment, for shopping and for visiting some interesting places...
Can also be booked online with acceptable price. Surely come back there soon!

My experience when staying in ibis bencoolen is outstanding. I like the cleanliness, warm welcome from the 2 guys from Indonesia. Both of them helped me to bring the luggage from taxi and to lift.

But unfortunately there is no delivery service from the restaurant to my room. Its so exhausted, after walking around in Singapore then I was starving, so i have to go to ground floor to order food from restaurant.

Business Hotel and Eco Friendly. Right smack in the middle of bras basah and little India! There's a 711 beside it where you can buy souvenirs.

Very disappointing hotel. Rooms are small and old I had a better room at Police training school in 1978. We had two single beds which were hard and uncomfortable. Very low water pressure in the shower. No bath and a lack of in bathroom accessories.
But at least we could relax by the pool. Oh wait... no swimming pool or gym.
Lesson learnt. You get (or don t get) what you pay for.

Loved the hotel..Its location is very gud..The morning breakfast was great..One can get continental..Indian..Japanese...Korean dishes..Very clean and neat.. The house keeping and reception staff was very helpful..They did allowed us to do early check in..Rooms r lil small..Bt was okay for two of us..
Overall if we visit Singapore again..It will Ibis on Bencoolen for sure..

Had a wonderful stay here. With close proximity to shopping and food centres, a bus stop by the door of the hotel and MRTs close by made connectivity a breeze.
The rooms are compact and neat. The staff were professional and helpful.
As we reached ahead of the scheduled check-in time, after we requested, they made our rooms available and it was extremely helpful for our elderly parents.
Their breakfast is sumptuous with options of veg and non-veg.

Rooms are quite small but decent to stay shirt term. Beds are for singles only. Clean rooms with very excellent staffs.

I had lunch at ibis hotel restaurant. The hotel lobby restroom is only for hotel guests which need card access. It is inconvenient for restaurant diners.
The buffet food so so. Nothing special. Food varieties not too many.

The front desk staff are efficient and friendly and make me and my guest feel very welcome. My guest arrived later after my check in and the staff make an effort to asked my guest to collect the room key at the counter so that I need not go down to meet her.
The room was clean and comfortable and I had a very pleasant stay. I requested for a twin bedded room and found that the bed was pretty small.
However that did not affect my impression of the hotel

Ibis on Bencoolen is in a great location with buses at the door and MRT only a short walk away.

The rooms are standard IBIS rooms and the free Wi-fi was great. It worked very well but you did have to login in every time you came home which was annoying.

There is a hawker centre a 2 minute walk again and Bugis Market is also just around the corner.

I would definitely stay again.

The rooms are very clean and they have all the basic things you need. But, the toilet is quite small. The location is very ideal as bugis is just 5 mins walk away from the hotel. And that would mean amazing choices of food and shopping spots. The OG is also nearby. It's another shopping place that offers lots of discounts which people like my mom love. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. It's not luxurious but it had everything you need. And, they do not have bell boy if you're looking for one.

Strategically located in Bencoolen as you're able to have easy access to Rochor MRT (Downtown Line) and Bugis MRT (East West Line) stations. There is a bus stop at the door step of the hotel where bus and taxis are easily accessible. Shopping in Bugis is just few steps away.

Had problem searching for the place. Located it with the help of some passersby! The lobby was small with food outlets lining the passage way. The food was good, varieties limited but complete with fruits, pastries & hot and cold drinks! Not sure about the price though.

Great service, and yeah the phone helped me to discover Singapore more easily and at discounted price.

Hotel right at the heart of Waterloo-Bencoolen area, a unbelievable juxtaposition of several important places of worship where Singaporeans and foreigners gather to pay respect to their Gods.
ibis is good value for money with its spacious, well-appointed and bright rooms.

Love the Ibis Hotel in Singapore...so accomodating!

A bit hard to navigate around, but the rooms and service are beyond expectations.
