Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen Review

The fast check-in and very courteous counter staff service.
The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable which i have a very good sleep.
There's a 7-11 convenience store just down stairs which make it very convenience for those coming back late night and able to grab for a drink or some snacks just to fill the hunger.
Best, there's just a few minutes walk to the nearest MRT at Rochor Station and many vegetarian stalls just around the corner at Fortune Center.
The location is very convenient to travel around with famous Bugis Junction just within minutes of walk.

The hotel is located in a strategic place, close to Bugis street, in front of the hotel there is a bus stop, the hotel is ok.

Bugis street & Bugis+ is basically a 2 minute walk and Little India is about 10 minutes away.
There s a bus stop right outside and there s a metro station close by as well.
The 7 Eleven next door is convenient. There s a BK across the street as well, if you don t like the local cuisine.

All of the above made the stay satisfactory.

Suitable for backpack tourist.
Everything you need is in a hotel room.
Have pc at lobby can use for surfing internet.
What amazed me is the toilet at lobby, it using Dyson "AirBlade Tap", it makes the toilet clean and tiddy.

It was great, the housekeeping is very diligent and accommodates to my requests.

The welcome / registration was a breeze. The front office was excellent and the breakfast which I must admit, was crowded and the staff are trying the best to make everyone comfortable especially a senior male manager. At the same time, the doorman who worked on Friday and Saturday was ever smiling and helpful though his is not that young but his spontaneous act to help is wonderful.
The usage of chlorox or equivalent at bathroom was excessive and causing pungent smell after house keeping

Wonderful location that is convenient to visit all major tourist destinations on this island. Close to a small but nice food court, and surrounded by convenient stores. The room was slightly dated, however the stay was pleasant, comfortable and relatively cheap. Will definitely return again.

Located in centre of city and good budget hotel to stay

Char kway teow was good! Prawns and other ingredients were fresh and flavourful. Honey glazed pork ribs was not as tender as I preferred and was on the fatty side though.

Stay was quite pleasant. Room met my expectations. Breakfast was decent. Room clean up service was prompt and efficient. Staff were courteous and helpful.

We stayed at the Ibis for two nights as part of Singapore Airlines Stopover Holiday package. We picked this hotel as it seemed to offer a good balance of quality and value; we ended up being pleased with our choice.

The Ibis is a modern hotel that had everything we needed (including the obligatory free WiFi). The room was a little on the small side but I suspect most are in Singapore, it was clean too which we viewed as more important.

Location wise the hotel is a little out of the way not near any of the main attractions and a 10 minute walk from the MRT (subway) and SIA Hop-on bus stop. However if you can take that, once you're at either it is easy to get around.

At the bargain price it is offered for this makes a good choice for a stopover hotel.

Good front desk service, convienance to all nearby Malls and eating outlets.

Clean and well presented hotel in a decent location, in walking distance of the MRT. Rooms are spacious enough and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Place is near to center in walking distance. Rooms n bathroom are small but clean. Breakfast buffet is good. Staffs are friendly.

- in room Wi-Fi is never working. Surfing the internet is a pain and if you need to do some work, forget about it.
- breakfast area is very small for all the customers they have. It can happen that you don't have a table to eat your breakfast. The food is average.
- the double room is so small, perfect for one person. The view is also horrible.
- shampoo was missing from our room, but the bottle was there.
- they don't even provide slippers in the room
- toiletries are nonexistent, unless you consider the shower cap to be one

No room service.. even for basic stuff like water guest has to come down at cafe to collect the cheap refilled water bottles.

Not at all recomendable.

Decent hotel and service. Very basic facilities and room's but everything is just right - almost. We were staying in one half of a connecting room and our neighbors were being loud. Usually that's ok as there are two doors for connecting rooms. But this must have been so thin that we could hear every word, it was as if they're in the same room. They were loud at 1 am and then again at 5am. Both times woke our baby up. I don't know why the hotel put us in a room with connecting doors if they know it would be so noisy. That is definitely a reason not to come back. Shame really since this hotel is very well located. I plan to try the Mercure nearby for our next trip. You can see it from the Ibis and same price range and location.

Hotels in the middle of Singapore, became my first hotel to stay in Singapore. Standard 3 star hotel room. Complete facilities. There is free wifi. Taxi services can be accessed at the hotel lobby. Clean bathroom. The dining room is clean, but it's a bit crowded especially breakfast time. Sometimes you have to look for an empty table.

Not bad to get tired all day around Singapore. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel so there is no need to go far for public driving

Love staying here, beds are really comfortable, rooms clean, great service and friendly staff.
The other plus is the location with public transport a stone throw away.

We had a great experience at IBIS bencoolen Singapore! The staff were extremely helpful! The hotel provided us with a local handy phone which came in very handy indeed! They gave us a hospitality room after check out to freshen up before a late night flight! How thoughtful!! Ibis will be my first stay option always!

For our purposes perfectly fine, clean quiet, good breakfast and we were able to take a shower after checking out again

Great location, wonderful staff, beautiful breakfast, reasonable rates. What else could you ask for. Public transportation (MRT) is close with bus stop and can service at the door.

3 Stars hotel located in town area. Easily accessible by MRT and buses. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Only issue is the carpark exit machine is very slow in reading complimentary parking tickets. If lot's of car is leaving, there will be bottleneck, be prepared to wait. Be patient.

Rooms and service are awesome. For breakfast, i think they can do it better. Most of them are just blend. Need more spices (salt, pepper and etc.)
