Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen Review

Just an advantage of being in center of city, however the rooms are just ok, breakfast totally singapore centric, no international dishes served.

Rooms are too narrow and facilities and services are not good

Room was clean and tidy, small and a bit dated but suited our needs.

Very much as budget style hotel conducive n ambient rooms important it near CBD area.

You can stay at a reasonable price in Singapore, where hotel rates are high.

Moreover, because the location is Bugis, I was not at all troubled with shopping, eating, drinking and moving.
It was clean whether room was renewed, and it was compact without waste and was comfortable.

When we left early in the morning, we were saved a taxi in the parking space of the hotel.
I go to Singapore every year, so I would like to take care of it again.

Polite staff, nice clean comfy room wif bed of course plus a good location for fun.

We had stayed there many times before. Rooms were good and they offered bottles of still and sparkling water complimentary. Also gave us a handy phone for unlimited local international calls and internet. I stopped off there to give them my bag in preparation of staying there later.

I booked a room at ibis hotel Singapore bencoolen for one night because it was highly recommanded by reviews from Tripadvisor. Indeed it is a great budget hotel!

The room was clean, comfortable and well located. Free wi-fi works in the lobby as well as in the room. I went to many places by feet, like Little India and Orchard Road.
The hotel is just near from Bugis station, and it is very easy to go to the airport by MRT.

I would be pleased to book again at ibis hotel singapore bencoolen!

The room is small but easy to travel. There is a May bus stop in front.

Great budget hotel with nice staff, average sized rooms. For a small fee extra per you can upgrade and get the mobile phone included that you can make free calls to a dozen country surf the web use it as a wifi hotspot and more. Recommend this hotel.

We chose ibis for five days in Singapore. The room is small but it is quite adequate and tidy! The traffic location is excellent and convenient, and the hotel counter staff are helpful. The hotel provides a lot of intimate services, such as the coin exchange machine in the laundry room and the environmentally friendly lovearth bottle, which makes our stay more convenient. A few small places, I hope to improve, the operation of the elevator seems to have some problems, and it often takes a long time to wait. We live on the 15th floor. Every time we go up and down the building, we can only take one or two elevators, and the close button is faulty. Quite a lot and time consuming. In addition, lovearth bottle provides unlimited refill function, although it is beautiful, but the bottle is quite small, it is inconvenient to continue to go to the Le bar refill, and the frequency is too frequent, it also causes some trouble to the service staff.

We stayed 2 nights and had a late checkout ( 6 pm) Sunday which we very much appreciated. The room was perfect for us it had everything we needed. We enjoyed an international buffet breakfast on Sunday morning and can't thank your staff enough for their help in the restaurant, in particular, Jennifer and Alice for going the extra mile. It's having staff like that that will make it easy to return. The check in /out takes longer than necessary because your staff are too polite to ask other guests who are interrupting to wait their turn. Overall we loved the location and the hotel represents great value for money.

I stayed at the Ibis Bencoolen hotel for a tour during the Eid Mubarak holiday with my extended family by booking 3 rooms. I arrived earlier than check-in and it turned out to be able to check in immediately. When entering the room, there was trouble in one of the room doors because of an error in entering the card. The response from the hotel team was very fast and even very helpful.
During the stay, the hotel service was very good, friendly, communicative and helpful so that we felt comfortable while staying here.
The location of this hotel is very strategic, it is located close to a bus stop and the distance from the MRT station is also relatively close. Around the hotel there are many dining options, shopping places including the church, so that on Sundays we can easily get to the church on foot.
The condition of the room is not too big, but it is comfortable enough to rest, especially when we stay outside the hotel more.
In general we are satisfied to stay at this hotel because in terms of price and quality it is adequate.

Very good place with easy access to MRT AND BUS service.

As a tourist I found this hotel in a great location to most tourist spots, visitors can get a three day pass at Bugis met junction for 30$, mutapah is about 1 km from here, and many other places are closeby. Hotel room is kept clean, they do provide all basic amenities and the complementary breakfast is decent. Better to get your own soap, shampoos and toothpaste, complementary ones were terrible. Overall it's been a very good experience in this hotel.

The room is small, but the location is very good, the surrounding life is convenient, next to Guanyintang and the Indian temple, it is impossible to pay for the transfer fee.

I think it will be better if the front desk can be friendly especially to welcome someone upon check in. Location was absolutely strategic.
Gave some advices about the housekeeping service during the stay which i hope it will be taken seriously.
Like the fact that they have ezlink card facility for guests. Wish to be able to use the bike but im not sure where to park it when i bring it around

It looks like a Japanese business hotel. It is convenient that 7-Eleven is in the same site. There is no bath but there is a shower. Is it a long stay?

There are many hotels in the vicinity, near Bugis Station. It is convenient to go anywhere. I stayed at the summer view hotel in front of my first visit to Singapore 10 years ago.
Singapore can not afford it because the hotel charges are high, but the rooms are quite small.
The interior of the room is nicely broken, but on the contrary it is a little hard to use. There is no drawer and there is only a shelf of height that is hard to reach.
It is also inconvenient that there is no outlet on the bedside.
But it is clean and above all it is convenient to have tap water. At first, I drank in a pot and drank ,,,. A convenience store is also nearby.
The room was on the 13th floor, so the view was good.

Singapore is a cheap hotel with good cospa. All-you-can-eat all-you-can-eat breakfast is delicious.

Really good budget hotel with close access to Sim Lim square and Rochor MRT station. The hotel is tidy and neat and they have all the necessities that one would ask from a three star hotel. Surprisingly good breakfast and a fast internet. Definitely worth the price.

An budget yet grand hotel with attached bar. Conveniently located near bus and metro stations (MRTs & LRTs). Complimentary breakfast served is very good, having a mix of Indian, Singaporean and American cuisines. Drinking water facility inside the rooms are unfortunately missing!

While the accommodations were fine, I felt that the staff went out of their way to treat me as a valued customer. From my early check-in to allowing me to store my luggage after I had checked out, I felt that my considerations were given a priority.

Room excellent, reception staff generally excellent and very helpful. Senior staff (duty managers) excellent when they observe a problem but not all staff are on-board. For example, housekeeping unresponsive to front desk calls and we were only advised of the availability of our room after a member of the reception staff physically checked that housekeeping had finished with the room. At the same time, the very attentive lady at the bar where we spent some time awaiting the room was able to get housekeeping to answer. we were early and acknowledge and appreciate your flexibility in this regard but housekeeping needs a rocket about communication failures and senior management may need to do some re-training and/or counselling.

The restaurant choices were fine and the staff efficient and friendly except for one senior manager (female dressed in black) whose inattention to customers arriving and leaving at breakfast on one morning was caused by her openly flirting with two male customers and apparently making a date with one, exchanging numbers and being asked about organising a friend for one of the guys as well. While this was going on, a number of customers simply walked in without greeting or being checked and one, who tried to get the attention of this staff member, was totally ignored and left clearly unhappy. I spent most of my working life in customer relations in one way or another and can tell you without doubt that the senior management team is well focused on customers but needs to pay more attention to what staff are actually doing..

If not for the above, our rating would have been a 10.

Very impressed with this hotel. Arrived 8 hours prior to planned check-in, the very friendly lady at the reception offered us to store our luggage and asked us to come back in 40 minutes, our room will be ready in that time. We strolled through the neighborhood and as we returned we were able to access our room. Very good.
Staff all in all is very friendly and the value for money is excellent considering the location, cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel.

There a some minus, first is the internet connection down so often, no free drink water there water for drink from watertap but not all people use watertap that usualy use for washing hand and use it for drink. The toilet is tissue user i m from Indonesia used wash with water....

Located in an accessible area. Near the subway and on a busy street. The rooms are somewhat small and the breakfast is not very varied, but it is acceptable. The employees are very friendly and attentive.

Ibis is located very strategically in the center of the town. The MRT stations are not far away and Bugis shopping mall is around the corner. The hotel staff is perfect. The rooms need a refreshment, but you sleep well at that place.

It's a nice hotel to stay.. Only demarits are the size of the room and the unavailability of room services .Otherwise the Hotel is situated at the best locality nearer to Little India and Mustafa market..All the Communications are easily available in a minute..Value for money.. Nice supportive and well groomed staffs.. Not so much of Indian food varieties available in the breakfast. But still all kind of foods available like Asian, Japanese, Chinese etc.. In my 5 nights stay, I have never ever faced any kind of lacuna in services from Hotel..
