Love the atmosphere, nice location, and the pizza was great

Great pizza! A little confusing for a newbie on what is available by the slice. Staff was very friendly.

Food was great. Their Google hours said open till 2:30a, but from the outside there was no indication from the outside that they were open. It looked closer with the chairs out up and half the lights off.

Probably the most fun pizza in town. Very good and fun pizza flavors with great service from fun people.

Food is great. They do use there hands. I see people wipeing there nose then touching peoples food. Or putting there hands in the pockets then touching food. Cooks do not wash there hands regularly the typical fun environment of Ian's has dissapeared. Most workers seem like they don't like there job. Very creative on the choices of pizza tho.

Great variety of pizza, serves salad, fast line but usually a couple people waiting. Has touch screen soda.

Great pizza variety. Love the different choices, like the BBQ chicken. I do suggest getting a dipping sauce for the crust, definitely highlights it.

Try the drunken ravioli pizza! Local root beer in the fountain. Huge slices. Worth it.

The pizza options are endless! All of them looked like good choices, and they are served fresh from the oven. Other options are a salad or some of their puppy chow. It is also a great location with good parking near the area. One of the best places to go for a big slice of pizza.

Great selection of creative pizzas, some classics and some really out there. Loved the weekly rotations when I was in town. Also the salad's were good, and very filling if a bit basic. Great value for money, and quick counter service , nice and large dinning room. Highly recommend for a local pizza fix.

Hard to find pizza by the slice in the Midwest, so we had to stop in. Giant slices with exciting options, but we were a little underwhelmed - everything seemed a little bland.

Love this place, and always take people if they haven't been or are visiting from out of town. Favorite stop on a bike ride.

I love this place, the pizza here is my favorite. The dining room has plenty of room and even when it's busy the wait was not too long. Not too expensive either

Came here for late night pizza at the end of a wedding after party. The line was long but moved really quickly. The pizza was really really good, but the crowd on a late Saturday night in a college town is what you d expect: a large number of very inebriated individuals. Again, great pizza. It was even good cold the following morning. I would definitely come back if ever in Madison again and in the mood for a quick slice.

Pizza was burned on the crust and pizza was really greasy.

It's a fun place to go with people that have never been. Love the pizza selection. Just DO NOT go there when it's busy. The normally nice staff turn into disgruntle A-holes fairly quickly.

Great for late night pizza by the slice, open till 3AM. Incredible variety of ever-changing toppings. I would consider the pizza good, not great. Definitely gas it's place and gets the job done, but more of a novelty than a pizza destination.

Showed up to Ian's on a late night and it was very busy, but the line moved swiftly and finding a place to sit was a breeze. The pizza is sold by the slice and was very good. I had what I believe was the weeks special which was artichoke and salmon, as well as a pepperoni mushroom slice, both were really good, nice large slices with quality ingredients, if you are ever in madison definitely get your pizza fix here.

We had 4 slices and salads. And everything was fresh and tasty. We would get all these slices again: Mac n cheese, sausage/mushroom/onion, BBQ chicken, and cheese!
It was loud. But they had acoustoc panels. Evenso, if you have hearing loss, definitely bring your Roger microphone. It helped

Could be good pizza if they didn't burn it until the crust is black 1 out of every 3 times I go in there. It's still edible but black crust is a far cry from golden.

I love their chicken caesar. Salads have their own line separate from pizza.

Ian's is great. I love being able to walk into a place ordering a custom vegan pizza with a ton of fresh ingredients and fifteen minutes later, I can eat my pizza. That doesn't happen often elsewhere.

The pizza was a little greasy for my tastes and the lines were not well marked so people were just cutting in and out, but overall really good

Wide variety of interesting Pizza combinations by the slice until late night. Good salads made fresh as you order. Can be a long line and wait on busy Friday Saturday nights. Good local ice cream.

The variety of pizza here is extraordinary! Brisket and tater tots? Chicken alfredo? Buffalo chicken mac n cheese? You're covered, and more! Very vegan friendly. Local ingredients. GO!

Ian's pizza is fantastic, dude. My Fiancee and I exclusively order from Ian's when we're craving pizza. It's one of the few places in the area that craft and offer unique vegetarian and vegan options that sacrifice absolutely none of the flavor. Their signature crust is such an awesome texture, and their salads are always fresh and bursting with flavor. What's even better than the product itself though, is definitely the service. Everyone is so kind and genuine, and despite how emotionally draining it is to work food-service, they are always so chill and friendly. Ian's, their staff in particular, are definitely a gift ro Madison :) Whether it's ordering 5 different massive pies for a party, or ordering the same cheese pizza with extra shredded and fresh mozzerella for the 87th time that week, Ian's has never let us down.

Super good location. I had the mac and cheese pizzia. I would recommend that if you are in town to give this place a try. The staff is friendly and the food is great. There are a variety if vegan options as well. This includes notably the vegan mac and cheese pizza.

A daunting array of specialty slices, quick and friendly services, pleasant and cavernous historical atmosphere, a great location at the top of State St, and reasonable prices! Only caveat is that it can get INCREDIBLY busy and crowded.

Want a different pizza? Ian's has combinations you wouldn't think go together, but create such a delicious fusion of flavors. You won't be disappointed.

Restrooms are in a state of disrepair, but the rest of the place is great.
