We ended up here after our reservation was overboo...

We ended up here after our reservation was overbooked elsewhere. We loved it. Couldn't have had a better breakfast buffet anywhere else. The rooms were big, clean and with STARBUCKS coffee in their coffee pots. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We will book directly with them next time.

Frequent visitor to Borgne restaurant which is downstairs at the Hyatt. The valet service is always quick and professional. You receive a discount with the valet when eating at the restaurant. Borgne is always good especially the fried chicken, duck poppers, and fish in a bag.

The hotel is very nice and very large. A couple good selections for food on premises . The atrium glass elevators make for a good view going up and down. Room was nice and modern. Only complaint would be the tv service glitched so much it wasn't worth watching a movie. Direct tv and clouds equal poor quality services.

One of the top 5 hotels in NOLA in my opinion for cleanliness, hospitable service, fine dining options, ridiculously speedy room service and the overall appearance and aesthetic of the common grounds and pool.. I only give 4 because poor folks need luxury sometimes, too.. We just cant afford no $200-500/night bill.. Companies really need to stop being so ridiculous with pricing in new orleans, seriously.. Take care of us locals! We love (and want to enjoy) our city too! Thanks for the stay Hyatt!

No complaints, Great staff, good food and parked next door for $27 a day.The young lady at the front desk named Jasmine was Great dealing with a large group.We were a very demanding group coming from Georgia and she took care of all of us with smile.Anyone that can handle the Smith/Reid need to be praised.

Don't know why they would give us a room without a...

Don't know why they would give us a room without an iron. And the coffee maker was missing the filter. Long line to check in and only one person was at a desk on a Friday evening. Good view of the super dome though

The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are very clean...

The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are very clean and fairly well maintained. Layout is a little odd and during the day the room is kind of dark unless you open the shades all the way. However it was fine at night.

My flight was cancelled, but my airline took care ...

My flight was cancelled, but my airline took care of me by rebooking my flights. That's part of the deal with an airline reservation. Hotel cancelled my reservation because I didn't arrive until next day. I guess that's the meaning of "reservation" for hotels even for multi-day conferences. My bad, I should have called hotel I guess. They sure aren't looking out for you! Lesson learned. Experience remembered.

Great hotel with an interesting interior atrium. Awesome gym and business lounge with great food and drinks from breakfast to early evening. Staff super nice and fast enough away from the center to avoid noisy neighbors. Prefect of you're going to a the Super dome

Horrible elevators and no customer service. Tried ...

Horrible elevators and no customer service. Tried to get an elevator to leave hotel and took 20 minutes. 4 came and were full. One came, was empty, and doors would not close. Hotel staff did not answer phone when tried calling (rang two minutes and then I hung up). They don t seem to care about the situation.

Once you check in, you can expect to go up two set...

Once you check in, you can expect to go up two sets of escalators to the third level, or you could go to the elevator which only goes to the third-floor and then try to figure out which sets of elevators you are supposed to get into which led me to calling the front desk to find out what in the hell is going on good luck at finding your room this place sucks ass

Small room, not allergy friendly, weird hotel layout not convenient, The AC settings are blocked so that they will only go so low and the thermostat is not accurate. They use Wisuite hotel energy savings$ , to save a dollar at your expense and comfort. The water pressure is low in the shower too! But yet they charge a lot for the rooms. This is not a sophisticated or luxurious room by any means just and an average room.

We had a good stay here during an overnight train layover in New Orleans. Staff was very friendly and room was spacious, clean, well furnished and quiet. Very short (5 minutes) walk to Amtrak station.

Let me tell you about our personal experience with...

Let me tell you about our personal experience with the Hyatt Regency on Loyola Ave. When we arrived at the hotel they were booked, we had already paid thru a third party service, so they offered us a corner suite, free parking and food credit. They brought us four pillow top twin beds we put two together and it made a queen. Before we saw the room we were mad, but once we saw the suite and space it provided we could not have had a better situation. We had a view 50 inch TV and a bar and space to eat, the kids loved it.

This is a great hotel with amazing views. Be sure you hit the fitness center and the pool to at least take advantage of the breathtaking views and stand higher than the Superdome. The service here was excellent and the food almost kept us from dining out. Ask for a room on the highest floor available to ensure you get the full experience.

The hotel was beautiful but I had a horrible exper...

The hotel was beautiful but I had a horrible experience in regards to the customer service. The valet were deceitful and lied to gain business. Additionally, housekeeping did not clean our room the entire 3 night stay. The bedding needed to be changed at least once, but we could not get that. We had to toss all of our food because our cooler was broken. This caused the trash to be terrible and overflowing. Without housekeeping though, we had to pile it up. Luckily we received fresh towels after calling to the front desk several times. Housekeeping came and gave us the towels and left. The last night, one of the bartenders threw the paper ID back at my friends saying they don't accept it. It was my friend's birthday and in most states you have to wait a few weeks before your new card is mailed. She was able to fly and go through TSA with the ID, but he decided to be rude. Horrible customer service for such a nice hotel. I was disappointed.
