Bathroom shower spay weak, like in a soft rain, hard to rinse. Bring your own bath towels unless you like to sandpaper your skin. View was nice. We booked two double beds, got a king, not good. People working here were very nice.
The $12 seasonal fruit and berries cup had exactly zero berries.
I had a great stay at this hotel while I was in new Orleans can't wait to go back and stay here again
LOVED our visit! We drove in for a weekend of football Mom duties with my son. After long days on the field, it was wonderful to escape into our suite of solitude. So many things conveniently located within and around this hotel. On-site are great restaurants, bar, accommodating conference rooms and Mercedes Dome & popular shopping places nearby. From the front desk to room service to housekeeping, we were provided with superior service. Can't wait until our next visit.
I visited during the pandemic but the hotel was very nice. Clean. Front desk was very friendly. The bar and restaurants were closed but they did have room service. Were accommodating to food delivery services.
It's a nice experience in general. Location is very good, close to things to do in the city. Rooms are not huge, but size is quite comfortable. The lobby and public area where conventions were held are way too cold though.
The sheets feel like newspaper. Everything at this hotel is great except the sheets feel like newspaper. I cannot sleep and am writing this at 4 am because the sheets feel like newspaper.
UPDATE: it's now 4:08 am. I changed my mind. Newspaper is softer than these sheets. These sheets have the stiffness of newspaper, but have the texture of a fine grain sandpaper.
I was extremely disappointed when I returned to my room and a piece of artwork I purchase was missing. I contacted the front desk and they transferred me to security. I explained to Eric what it looked like and that maybe the cleaning staff threw it away. He said he would investigate the situation but never followed up with me. While checking out I asked for the status update if they found my picture. They had another security person come down, I spoke with James and repeated everything again. I returned home and received a call from another person in security to explain the situation. It has now been over a week with no explanation as well as no solution. I'm very dissatisfied with how poorly this situation was handled. The artwork wasn't very expensive but if I leave something in my room, I expect it there when I return. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.
Nice location for events at Smoothie king and Superdome!
The outlay is nice. The only issue with the hotel is the elevators, but besides that, it's beautiful and the food is delicious.
It's beautiful and classy. There is so much here to do. Restraunts and an amazing bar. The paintings, art and chandeliers are breathtaking. The hotel staff is top notch friendly and efficient. So far the best place I've been to.
This place is wonderful! The service is absolutely the best! Everyone is so helpful and are just like family! The room we were in has fantastic views of New Orleans!
Customers service was lacking. Front desk employees had attitude. They wasn't able to tell us place to visit during our stay. Housekeeping was excellent.
Nice clean environment. Every employee helpful and friendly. Excellent bell service on it with doors and luggage. Even if u carrying groceries from rousess store just absolutely amazing so far.
Dinner at Borgne was delicious! Burger was spectacular and the fish and seafood dishes were as well. Beautiful presentations and amazing service.
The Hyatt Regency New Orleans is a wonderful establishment. Highly recommended.
Very friendly staff, manager walked me to my room. Valet service is super friendly. Great hotel to stay at.
Hands down one of the best places I've ever stayed at. I've traveled extensively and I've never had such amazing service. This place is decorated beautifully and the staff was awesome! I highly recommend staying here if you are going to stay in New Orleans.
Staff was great! The elevators were not as big of a problem because the staff helped us. But the stairs are still the fastest route.
This is located right behind (or in front of) the Mercedes Benz Stadium, so if you're a football fan and need a place to stay, this is the place. A solid 4 star, staff was friendly, valet crew were very friendly, wait staff also very friendly. The lunch buffet was great. I enjoyed the dessert and grilled vegetables. The only complaint I have is that the room I had (#1219) had the air conditioning right above the TV, so when it would go on, I would have to turn up the volume, and when it would go off, vice versa. Otherwise, it's a very nice hotel.
I didn't go in I was waiting to deliver an Uber Eats order
Beautiful location in the Heart of the City ..service was amazing
Great location and absolutely delightful ful staff especially Gustave. Close to Bourbon street and the French district. Good restaurants on the premises. Close to the toru bus.I recommend anyone to stay here when they are in New Orleans.
Amazing. Service room beyond expectations. Close to everything
We stayed here for Christmas, my birthday, and New Years. Beware it s valet or self park you have to pay, since we didn t know that was pain for my husband and I to find parking. They advertise that there s free WiFi but it s so slow that it s practically nonexistent so you have to pay for WiFi if that s something that you need. We stayed here for 10 days and on the 4th day, early in the morning we heard banging on the wall like someone was putting a nail on the wall or something. That went on for 25-30 minutes it woke me up and gave me a headache. We called the front desk and they did nothing. The room is horribly designed, it s decent because of the super dome view. On our last day, they could not wait to shut the water off on us. We couldn t even shower! I am so done with this place.
Well, asked staffed repeatedly not to touch my luggage when arriving because of fragile items I had with me. Staff did not listen and still continued to throw around my luggage and even had one catch an attitude with me.
Staff is amazing very friendly. Rooms small and the hvac fan was loud. Room was clean.
A nice and enjoyable place in addition to the staff at the hotel wanting to help the visitors
Decent hotel. Front desk staff were amazing. I had only a couple of issues. The last two times I stayed here, both times the room keys did not work. Both times I had to call down and security had to let us in our room and give us new keys. One of those two occasions the new key still didn't work so I had to go get yet another key. Which I normally wouldn't mind but the front desk from the actual rooms is not a short walk in the least. The most recent visit (key situation happened as well) I had booked a suite since it was a special occasion. We were not granted access to half of the suite until nearly six hours later. At that point we were already at the event (for which we were staying in New Orleans). So it was almost midnight before we were able to enjoy the rest of the room I had already paid for.
Swanky hotel. Went for a meeting and fell in love with the aesthetic.
The Hyatt has so far been a good experience. The rooms are clean, and things are in their place. There are two bottle of waters when you arrive. And a mini fridge. No microwave though. Beds are comfortable. Overall, a good experience. Thanks!
The hotel is fine, but waaaaay too busy and extremely loud: music everywhere.
The pool is kinda small and shared with Hyatt House next door. Mostly bunch of party goers there. One if them threw a can of beer from his balcony. Don't think I'll be hanging out there much.
But the room is okay - if a bit dated.
Always love going here, great Hotel with a great ambience. Has two Starbucks inside and great bar on the second floor.
Hotel and staff are great. Went there for a conference and the venue was well-suited. The design of the hotel with the open balconies facing the lobby is truly terrifying and I don't know how there aren't an average of 3.2 deaths weekly.
The elevator system is unnecessarily complex.
A little bit confusing to navigate into the different conferences
Fantastic hotel. Great staff, nice rooms. Breakfast buffet is definitely worth the money. Fresh oj, crisp bacon, omelette bar, and many other fresh tasty choices.
We had a wonderful time, from the check in to check out, everything went smoothly. The only complaint is that the air didn't cool as well as we would have liked.
How nice is this hotel. In a good place and everything.
Very luxurious. Several shops inside (including a Starbucks!).
I loved our time at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The meeting rooms were comfortable. The food in the restaurant's was great. I especially liked the breakfast buffet. There was a huge variety of dishes to choose from and everything was fresh and of high quality. Made to order omelets were available with a great variety of ingredients including shrimp, crawfish, and alligator sausage.
Having traveled to many parts of America and to many countries around the world I have to say that the breakfast at this property is my favorite, so far, due to the quality of the pastries, the freshness of the numerous items, and the unusual addition of exotic ingredients and excellent extra touches such as two types of bread puddings with several sauce options daily.
Very nice hotel and was very accommodating to the convention we attended. Only issue was the elevator system wasn't designed for so many attendees.
Rooms are clean and spacious, elevators are very quick and efficient. Hotel was very easy to find and convenient to airport transportation.
Rooms were not as nice as I'd thought they'd be. The air conditioning in room definitely doesn't get cold enough. Staff was very nice though.
Nice hotel, comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Recommend
O K location for Super dome and Smoothie King Center, I got in my 5 miles a day of walking. Fun high tech elevator system!
Nice bar and sports restaurant. Good location to Smoothie King and SuperDome.
Staff is friendly, accommodations are really great. The gym has a good view of the city. Hotel is centrally located.
Nice place. Amazing automatic elevators. Lots of restaurants and bars inside but many have limited hours. All are overpriced, epically drinks. Beer is $8.75. Pool is nice, but outside and unusable in bad weather. Conference facilities are nice, but very expensive. You may get a better rate on conference hotel rooms by going through normal hotel site or through Orbitz or expedia and not using conference rates.
Excellent amenities and service by all staff. Easy access to everything around the city
It is named Regency for a reason. Top notch service.
Bit pricey for what you get. Easily twice the price of a good restaurant but none of the hotel restaurants were that good. The room too was an over priced little pie wedge room with a view of the dumpster alley. Can't say this will be my first choice if I come back to new Orleans.
Great location and proximity to everything in the City. The street and some of the surrounding buildings are undergoing some major work and renovations. But the hotel is clean and the staff is super friendly. The manage was extra nice to me and my dog. I truly enjoyed the experience.
Great facilities however the layout of the ballrooms can be challenging. Rooms are modern and what is expected of a higher end Hyatt property.
Great business hotel. It is one of the larger and newer properties in New Orleans and one of the few that has the capacity to host about 3,000 delegates on site. Great bar and Starbucks in situ. Centrally located and about a 7 minute walk from Bourbon Street and the French Quarter.
Of course i luv dis place......dis is where i transform into Zulu Turtle fuh Mardi Gras morning.....Happy Mardi Gras yaheardme!
This is a deceivingly large hotel with a somewhat odd layout. There is a lot of up and down escalators to arrive at your room. That said once you arrive the rooms are a decent size with plenty of charging space. They were also updated and clean.
The hotel is further away from the French Quarter than some of the other large chains typically just off Canal street but I did not feel unsafe waking to the Quarter.
Staff were attentive and welcoming overall a pleasant stay.
The rooms were okay! The breakfast bar was phenomenal, but the tub was stopped up along with the sinks. Great views tho
Best stay I ever had in new Orleans
The staff is welcoming and never a problem when checking in
Enjoy new Orleans and stay at the hyatt Regency in new Orleans and experience the time of your life
We were there for the NTL Trivia National Finals. Mostly in the event space on the 3rd. A fun time was had by all as always!
