HYATT REGENCY NEW ORLEANS Review

I loved the this hotel. I actually stayed at Hyatt House and my room was more lavish that my collegues who payed for regency. The hotesl are connected so you dont miss anything. The security was fantastic, you saw them at every turn. On gentleman even walked a group of us up to our room for extra security. The rooms were spacious and house keeping nothing less than perfect. Thank you Hyatt Regency/House for making my stay very comfy. The only reason I new I wasn't how was because your bed was more comfy. LOL! You guys rock at customer service, cooking, waiting and any other area you have. If I had to complain about one thing it would be the holding of funds that equal the room stay. For a school student and part time worker like myself this became troublesome at checkout especially since I wasn't informed of this at the time of booking. Thankfully, my family was able to help me out otherwise I would have been in the lobby with nowhere to stay. Fix this and there will be no other like you!

Used the parking garage for an event at the superdome. Great place and price, but expect a long wait after such events

Loved our stay at the regency in New Orleans. The room was very clean and the staff was very attentive. Looking forward to visiting again.

The rooms are very comfortable and it's located downtown across from the super dome. They have a nice bar and restaurant.

Great hotel. Only draw back is SUPER inconvenient to get to your room from outside. 5 minute trek. Minimum.
Into the lobby, across a gigantic Lobby, up an escalator, up another escalator, walk across the entire Hotel, get on the elevator to your floor, off the elevator and then halfway across the hotel again to get to my room. Huge pain in the butt. I wouldn't stay there again because of that.

Our room is spacious and clean. Nothing to complain about.

Nice stay, but they really need to give first time guests a tutorial on how to use their elevators. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Went for the Crescent City Classic Race Expo. Lots of floor covers duct- taped to the floor. An overall ok experience, but for a higher-end hotel...repair your stuff!

Very nice hotel at a great rate. Restaurants and a Starbucks inside the hotel made it even more convenient. The room was great. Very clean. Hotel staff was so friendly.

The best Hotel i have stayed at in New Orleans. Very beautiful, and when you get it with a deal even better. The food in the hotel is great. I just wish it was walking distance to canal and bourbon street.

Regency club had as on point, if not a bit repetitive after 6 days. Excellent view of the city and walking distance to the French Quarter and other tourist hot spots.

This is the hotel of all hotels, beautiful. The employees were informative, very pleasant helpful and friendly. The maids were excellent. Valet parking was great. I really enjoyed this hotel. The best of all hotels. I would stay here every time I'm here in New Orleans.

Would like to say thanks to Ms. Jonna Brewer for going out of her way to help my daughter when she was stranded in New Orleans by her self. She was such a big help to me trying to get her a room for the night so she wouldn't have to spend the night in the bus station. Her calm voice was such a welcome to a worried parent.

Went to the bar for happy hour and prices were reasonable work good service.

It's huge, but not very easy to navigate. Also, the elevators take a little bit to become used to.

Great hotel. Nice guestrooms. Perfectly located downtown and outside of the French Quarter (but still within walking distance). Very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel has a wonderful pool to lounge at. It would have been nice if the pool bar was operational when we stayed (we had to buy our own drinks elsewhere). CVS and market located nearby. Overall great stay.

I stayed here a couple of weekends ago and had my $600 wallet stolen. It was left in the room when I left because it fell out of my bag without me noticing. I called immediately after, and called the lost and found hotel housekeeping service, and they claimed they did not have my wallet, but they did somehow have every card inside the wallet (30+ cards). I never once took anything out of that wallet, and all the hotel sent back to me was the cards since they claimed they never had the wallet, but I know for a fact that they did. I never dumped all of my cards out, so I do not appreciate my wallet being stolen and I will NOT stay at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans ever again and neither should you.

Room in mediocre condition (gum in rug, beat furniture, toilet seat doesn't stay open, toilet runs) Coolest feature is Chromecast in the TVs but the Hyatt app doesn't work to enable it.

I was impressed by the staff and their willingness to help and answer any questions. All the staff from bell hops to door greeters to valets were awesome. Only complaint was the housekeeping. Though the rooms were clean, they would want to clean your room sometimes at 5 and 6 in the evening. I understand it's a big hotel, but after walking and enjoying what New Orleans has to offer, by those times in the day you really just want to relax. It will still be a place I will stay again if back that way again.

I was only there briefly for the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert. The facility seemed nice, parking garage was convienant.

I passed through here while on business and was very impressed by the all that I saw. The hotel is warm, inviting, and well-maintained. The staff I interacted with seemed genuine and I left with a very positive experience. I did not stay the night so I can't speak to their rooms, but I would definitely keep it in mind to stay there in the future.

Truly 5*. A 20 min walk for the French quarter, but has good tram access and onsite Starbucks.

Don t stay here if you want to sleep. Noise in the corridors all night and engineering to wake up too. Save your money and go elsewhere

The atmosphere was amazing and most food great. However, worst chargrilled oysters in town. They tasted raw, so what was the point.

If I could rate only Ms Wanna Howard (hotel security) it would be 5 stars. Thank you Wanna you're a class act.

Forced to wait 3.5 hours for a room with the only explanation being "The rooms take long to be cleaned." Will never be staying here again, terrible customer service from a poorly run organization. Our rooms were booked three months in advance and now a whole day in New Orleans ruined thanks to the Hyatt Regency.

I had reserved a room weeks ago and they did not have it for me despite sending me a confirmation while I was on my way. Total hospitality FAIL.

I really liked the hotel, I had a very good time without a doubt, it is a very nice hotel, spacious and clean rooms, and it is an affordable price for my economy and I did not want to spend so much on the trip we made with my family and opt for this hotel and it's perfect

Room was really clean and fancy. They first gave us the wrong room but they corrected their mistake. Unfortunately garage parking was not included with the room. Also we went during Mardi Gras so they charged more for event parking.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Everyone was so nice, will be back in the future for sure.

Beautiful facility, good food, but spotty amenities. Half the lights in the room didn't have working bulbs, the elevators are up the escalator and halfway across the hotel, the bar/restaurant was closed at 11:30 pm, and no one answered a call to the front desk.

Beautiful windows and a beautiful view of the Superdome. Food options were great. The buffet restaurant and the sports bar we're both excellent. The elevator system was kind of new to me, but the staff is great at picking out the lost folks and guiding them where they should go. Very nice people. Loved having a REAL Starbucks in the hotel. Gosh that was probably the best part. It can get confusing in a Las Vegas kind of way trying to find your way out of the giant complex, but it was over all a wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning. Thanks and cheers

My bed was comfortable and the room had a great view. The staff was friendly including the great elevator attendant. I would definitely come back again.
