Beautifu hotel, grand central area. Close to the french quarter and water front, business district and both arenas. Awesome viewsof the city from the gym on the 32nd floor.

Nice hotel but a fair amount of walking to get to your room
Very comfortable, good places to eat within
Courteous, friendly, helpful staff
1st of all this is a nice hotel. There is absolutely no smoking. I also found it distressing that there are no parking facilities owned by the hotel, so you have to pay $25 A-day to park. And they do not validate. No balconies in the rooms but the views are pretty good
Big hotel with a convenient location. Perfect for quick stays and large events.
Lobby has been redone, but rooms are still outdated. Great location, but hotel rooms need to be updated.
Good location. Great food in the hotel at several restaurants. Staff is helpful. The rooms are a bit beat up. The A/C in my room was so loud I couldn't hear the TV. Good place to hold a meeting.
FRONT DESK , HORRIBLE ! AMID WAS SO RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL SO WAS THE MANAGER
THEY WERE NO REAL HELP AT ALL WHAT SO EVER !!! MONEY WASTED
Large and comfortable conference hotel, nothing wrong, nothing outstanding
Great happy hour drink and appetizer specials at Borgne restautant.
Very good Hotel in a super interesting City.
My Highligth the Fitness Center at the Top with Great View on Orleans.
8 - 10 Minutes Walk to Bourbon Street.
Well done.
Friendly Team there.
The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and luxurious.
No complaints. Always a great stay. Comfy beds and nice views
The facility was clean and easy to get around. The WiFi was problematic with many dead zones.
Was here for a conference but stayed closer to the river as there was little to see around the hotel
Very nice hotel, tons of food and drink options, a deck pool, a decent fitness room, kind service, comfy beds. I have no complains. The only imperfection was the price. Luckily my work paid the hotel for a conference, so it worked out for my bank account. Also note worthy, the elevators are very strange and hard to get used too.
The layout is bizarre and the elevator system is awful. Also, not handicap friendly AT ALL
My hotel management company recently sent us here for a conference. This hotel was absolutely beautiful, and the staff there were some of the most hospitable people I have ever met. I never came across a person that was not smiling, friendly, and happy to help.
Before you book make sure you add $50-70 to your total, good place to stay if money is not a problem.
Cool place but there was a kid sneaking an orangatan in kids clothing around.
Beautiful hotel! Amazing views and walking distance from the French Quarter! The dome is right outside of the hotel!
Overall good. Food is ordinary. TV went out. But overall, a nice place to have a meeting.
Horrible hotel everything is broken here. Fridge in room doesn't work, phone doesnt work to call front desk that is 15 minutes away, ice machine doesn't work in hallway.
Not my favorite hotel. The room was huge, the bathroom tiny! The closet tiny! The walls were paper thin as we were awakened two different nights by music and arguments in the next room.
Housekeeping didn t replenish any clean towels after cleaning the room, not a problem. Mistake happens. But when I called front desk 3 times and waited 30 mins to get a few towels and still didn t get any, that s a problem. For a hotel in this caliber, I expected decent services especially when it s their mistake in the first place. We are not talking any thing above and beyond, but basic amenities.
Toured the hotel convention space. Amazing amount of room. Friendly staff and very good handicapped accessibility.
This hotel is awesome!!..From the time we arrived we were treated with the up most respect and courtesy...I highly recommend!
Rooms are decent, i did not stay in a room which had awesome views, so kinda boring! Elevators are fast and confusing. Locality is a mile away from Riverwalk and Bourbon Street, party is just a mile away! Thermostat in my room had it's own mind. View from the Gymnasium on 32nd floor is breathtaking.
Absolutely wonderful. Was not a guest but had an emergency situation outside. The front desk could not have been more helpful and thoughtful.
Rooms are modern & clean as well as public areas of hotel. Amazing service & great choices for restaurants & bar....great food!!! Restaurant Boergne is recommended even by the locals.
Nice hotel and amenities. I wasn't fond of running down 43 flights of stairs for a fire alarm though.
The rooms are very nice. But it takes a while to walk all the way to where the rooms start
This hotel was beautiful!! We came for a 2 night trip of the city and we were so happy that we chose this hotel.
I loved my stay at the hyatt, I was here for a conference and it was an amazing expirence. My conference was held at the Hyatt which made my expirence even nicer, all amenities were available to me, the staff was friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was amazing helping me get checked in and assisting me when I was leaving. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of many attractions and is on the trolley line which made it even easier to explore the city.
I only wish there was a way to purchase RTA fares at the hotel instead of having to do it online or through other locations around town.
Installed in a handicap room for no reason, the shower was 4 ft high
Staff were wonderful, accommodating and extremely friendly
Great hotel with a great view of downtown New Orleans. Very clean as well.
Shampoos and soap are super strong, I highly recomend to take with you your personal stuffs, what an awful products!! Rooms are ok.
Nice facility and attentive service from the staff. The layout of the hotel and conference center is a bit odd, and the elevators took a while to figure out. The gym on 32nd floor is great. Good location- you can walk to many of the attractions NOLA has to offer.
Upscale hotel next to super dome. Lots of room for conventions. Excellent bars and restaurants.
Great location. You can walk or take an inexpensive Uber to a lot of great spots in NOLA. Clean and comfortable. Popular for business travelers, conference attendees, etc. Pool area was OK, but a bit generic.
Great rooms! Great location in the city walked everywhere. Lots of good restaurants nearby
Great room but bathroom was very tight space for handycap room but over was good
Worst hotel for convention business I have ever been in. Booked a deluxe suite for additional convention business. There was no kitchenette. There was no tableware of any kind. There was not even a place for ice or a refrigerator. I have stayed at mini-suites at the Marriott for half the price. The room was half the size but had everything I needed to host an informal business meeting or after business meeting. Every little service costs extra, and the concierge service is both slow and rude. Waited over an hour for room service, and all I needed was the ice bucket that should have been in the room in the first place. It never showed up and I had to leave for convention business. NEVER staying at this hotel again. Overpriced for what little you get.
I was only in to deliver some packages to guests at the hotel, but the hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating .
Was here for a work event. Large, clean conference rooms, great buffet, friendly staff, easy to get in and out of the building, restrooms were well kept. Overall it was a nice place and it was easy to move from one room to the next. The equipment worked well, lighting was perfect and the presentations were great. I didn t stay at the hotel but we did enjoy the conference.
Very nice hotel, 15 minute walk to the French Quarter. Has great restaurants and bars on site. Easy walk to the Superdome. Corner king room was spacious enough. Beds are fairly comfortable.
The Hyatt Regency is a really upscale and very big. My favorite part of the hotel is the glass elevators, which move really fast and feels like a roller-coaster ride when you look down out the window. The rooms have all the proper amenities and the television even has a chrome cast, but I couldn't figure it out.
This place justifies every penny spent. One star down because of huge line at front desk and only one person working.
Nice hotel, good proximity to the Quarter, MB Superdome, etc
Awesome place to relax and enjoy the view and service
Just alright, location makes the hotel. Rooms don't impress, either in cleanliness or ammenities. View from main tower is wonderful, but the north tower stinks. There are lots of expensive choices within the hotel for food and drink. Luckily there are some amazing options close by.
We had a wonderful stay here. The location was centered near everything we wanted to do. The rooms were clean and nice. Our room had a nice view of the super dome. There were a couple of good restaurants as well as a convenience store inside the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend the valet parking if you stay here it wasn't anymore expensive than parking in the deck next door. I would recommend this hotel we had a great stay and will consider the Hyatt the next time we are in New Orleans.
The young lady at front desk on Saturday July 25 at 7:00 pm was very welcoming. I don't remember her name but she's the kind of person that make you want to return. Chi was very helpful during our stay. The young man at the bar located by the pool was very friendly. I would be glad when everything is open back up so we can enjoy the other restaurants and bars within. Very nice hotel.
The location is in the center of the city, there are many restaurants in the hotel, but the rooms are small and disappointing
Very nice hotel. If you can get a regency club room it's well worth it.
I only stayed here for one night the bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby I was given the room as a gift from a friend thankfully because there's no way I could afford anything you near the price of this place but for those of you out there who have money that they can spend on something like this then I would definitely recommend you go they treat you like and say royalty but I really don't know how to treated so they treat you really special and like you're very important no matter how unimportant you really are
Beautiful hotel across the street from the Superdome.
The rooms were nice and very quiet. Loved the fitness center. Our only glitch was upon checkout we requested assistance with moving our bags downstairs and the bellperson did not arrive after 30 minutes.
Big sprawling hotel right next to the Superdome. I imagine it's quite different on weekends during the football season, but we got a great deal, and the place was energetic, but not crowded.
The elevators can be easily over-run with big crowds and become a bit of an annoyance and the stairs are not generally a good option to get to the lobby or other public floors.
Staff was very responsive, professional and generally nice with our kids.
$10 cab ride to/from the French Quarter. Street cars are a more functional option than they were a few years ago.
General NO pro-tip: Buy a day-pass if you're going to be taking more than one trip on buses or street cars.
I didn't stay here, I only visited. But it was gorgeous!! Every detail I saw was well thought out and attended to. I would stay here for sure!!
This place is massive! It has a nice gym on the top floor with nice view of the Mercedes Dome. It is 10-15 mins walk to downtown so far enough from the noisy downtown traffic.
The room was nice and the lobby was beautiful. Too nice for free breakfast. Everything was fine, parking was $30 a day, although I found nearby street parking for free. I was still charged for parking but when I called to dispute the charge, it was efficiently refunded in a professional way.
Went to 8 blocks restaurant at Hyatt...Buffet during lunch was reasonably priced with a wide selections of items...best part was their desert section
Rooms were very clean and the staff is courteous and friendly.
