Even though I reserved a room with a balcony and bathtub and got neither, everything else was wonderful. The overall layout and landscape was beautiful. The for was AMAZING. From breakfast to dinner, they had some of the best conference food and great food in their restaurant as well. The wait staff is extremely attentive and kept all glasses full and table clear.

Great location, clean and easy accessing rooms, lots of parking, the air remains clean even when the outside was impacted by the 2018 Camp Fire. A lot of great places are within 10-minute drive.

The service was top-notch, and amenities abundant. However, the rooms are not what I expected from a 4 stars hotel. For starters, none of the few rooms that we were in had centralized heating and cooling. Instead they had a centralized heating, but a portable AC unit in the room. The machine was so loud that I had to turn it off before going to bed (luckily it wasn't too hot that day). Also the pillows was rather soft and flat, and by the middle of the night I felt like I was sleeping on nothing. Beyond that, the rooms was clean and the beds were comfy. All in all, great service and amenities, so-so on the rooms.

This is a motel next to the interstate, not a hotel. The rooms have popcorn ceilings and look like repainted 70s motel rooms. The coke machine doesn't work, cobwebs in room, no top sheet on bed, YMCA towels, no elevators in some buildings, composite board furniture from the 70s, no vents in bathroom, no decorations at all, ice room with mold and filth, busted drywall in the stairwells, cheap and poorly done stamped concrete throughout the property, formica countertops....It is an absolute dump. Would only stay here if rooms are less than $80.00 per night. Breakfast was good but pricey, Italian restaurant was nasty, sports bar was good.

Hotel is fairly nice. Definately a good place if you like golf. Their breakfast is nothing to write home about. ANY event the staff says to go to make sure you google it first. They sent us to see a laser show for the 4th that did not exist.

Pro: It's located in a beautiful area attached to a golf course and spa. Bare minimum Covid protocols in place. Pool is OPEN! Close to all the touristy areas.

Cons: Building 3 water smelt bad, $20/night parking fee, no FREE break even for World of Hyatt members & limited food ordering options with room service during Covid

This property is old with popcorn ceilings and very dark carpeting of a questionable color. Parking was no where close to the room. Needs an extensive reno. Friendly staff and housekeeping is overly eager. Photo online looks nothing like the actual hotel. Recommend use of Google maps street view for an accurate view of this place.

Hyatt Regency Monterrey: older hotel with newly refreshed rooms on a great location to explore Monterrey and Carmel. Dog lovers will enjoy the pet suites connected to a dog play area. Food at the hotel is mediocre. Breakfast grab and go same as Hyatt Places - Globalists get that for free, the actual cost pp is $15. Several Hyatt hotels in California have restaurants open serving full breakfast but Hyatt Regency Monterrey still using the Covid excuse to offer the most basic product possible.

Stayed here several times over the years on business...and again very recently. First off, the staff are very nice and helpful, which was great. The hotel is just okay...maybe adequate is a better description. It isn't a typical Hyatt Regency standard. There is a pool and a few outdoor activities for kids. A golf course abuts the property...as does a busy highway...so you'll either get a quiet room or hear cars all night/day. The golf course view isn't very scenic, but those rooms overlooking the course are quieter than those on the highway side of the buildings. The hotel itself has interesting architecture, but dated buildings all painted grey/black...not real inviting. The lobby area tends to be loud. They keep the hotel front doors open almost all the time I think, so with everyone talking, music playing, car noise from the nearby highway, it's not a very restful beginning to your stay. Additionally, the common areas near the stairwell/elevator breezeways of the buildings where the rooms are located smell of cigarette smoke all the time. Hotel room is nice but nothing special. (They finally have air conditioning!) Very slow elevators. Sports bar is lively and very loud with numerous TV's to watch whatever game is on. Service was slow though. Food was underwhelming and for the price... disappointing. Breakfast in the dining room was well done though. Numerous foods and fruits on the buffet and all tasted good. Prompt and polite service as well.

Hotel is a bit unusual since it's comprised of a lot of buildings spread out and the buildings are ilder but remodeled very nicely. Beds are super comfortable and the staff is friendly and great!

Outstanding experience at Hyatt Monterey. I honestly thought it was a 5 star hotel when I stepped foot into this gorgeous hotel. The staff was SUPER friendly and very professional at all times. They were so helpful in many ways - Also the food was so good here..I ate at every single one of the restaurants and they were A+ quality. I really loved how everything was at the hotel, from the bar, to the restaurants, to the amazing pool and spa. This place should really be a 5 star hotel - I have stayed at many hotels in Monterey and this was by far and away the best!

Not the best location in Monterey, but well equipped, full service hotel. Room had a few strange issues, including a terribly placed soap dish in the shower, a clear bathroom door, and no bathroom fan.

Nice

Not worth the money.

Not worth the money.

The rooms are old and need a remodel. The walls are really thin and so you can hear your neighbors gettin it on loudly in the next room while you try to sleep.

Great location for a conference, even better when staying at the hotel. Wonderful staff and professional amenities. I always enjoy my stays there. The bar is a great place to get convenient drink specials

Spent an entire week here. My room (building 1) was very nice, clean and comfortable. The shower head was broken and was a little challenging to use, but they would have fixed it if I asked (I did not care very much). Wifi was free and very reliable (except in conference center- but that was not their wifi, it is run by another company). TV was great and had every channel I needed (especially for election night last Tuesday). Pools and hot tubs were great. Conference rooms were great. The gym was small but had great equipment (nice treadmills and free weights and a number of lower and upper body machines)- it was never too crowded, though. The restaurants were pricey but they had good options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The sports bar (Knuckles) was cool to hang out at every night and had good food, too. They kept my bag for me all day after I checked out and then I grabbee it on my way to the airport. Convenient location to everywhere in Monterey area. The firepits were really nice as well. I will be back!

The beautiful grounds are well maintained and even though it is a golf course you don't always get that vibe on the Hyatt campus. Exotic flowers bloom, greenery abounds, and the rooms are spacious. The cafe near the check in offers good food, an assortment of wines, and excellent staff.

Great facility and service. Only one complaint: Business Center needs more attention - copiers not working properly, toner spilled on machine and paper tray, internet browsers not up to date. The concierge desk allowed me to print my documents from her computer and I appreciate her assistance.
