Highly recommend this Hyatt. Very clean rooms friendly staff go above and beyond to help you with things you may have forgot at home. Very close to Fourth Street Live. Wouldn't even need to drive so close.

I spent four nights here for a trade show and had a great experience. My room was clean and comfortable, and the customer service was excellent. I had a panicked moment when I realized I forgot something. When I ran down to the desk, they helped me figure out where to buy it and gave me directions. When I came back, I couldn't get into the parking garage, they valet parked me for no extra charge so I wouldn't be late to my event. I'd definitely stay here again!

Very clean and great customer service! The room overlooked 4th street and was in a great location. The bed and tv were perfect after a long day of traveling. The only complaint we have is how loud it was in our room. There were a couple groups of kids down in the lobby/restaurant that were so loud and we could hear them from our room. Overall good experience and would stay here again

I have stayed here previously and have always loved the stay, but this time the room cleanliness was not up to par. There were crumbs left in the room and random wrappers on the floor. There was also hair in the bathroom floor. Very disappointing.

Just left there after a 4 day stay. The hotel was very nice and worked well for our conference and attendees. 4th street live a block away. Nice restaurants very close and in hotel . Hotel staff was just amazing! I have never seen a group more willing to help and to please.

I ate at Sway. It was delicious. Took a moment to get seated because we were unaware it was open seating/seat yourself. Server brought drinks and refills. Food was delicious. Had a spicy shrimp with grits. Was pricey but good! Was with a few coworkers for a quick bite after work. I would recommend. The honey butter was amazing!!

We stayed at the Hyatt for the CES conference. I have to say the hotel as well as the entire staff were all 5 stars.
I have food allergies (gluten and spices), and Sway (the hotel restaurant) provided excellent, gluten free meals. They cooked whatever I wanted however I needed it cooked. The chef came to our table to check on my food at every meal.
We will definitely stay here again when we next visit Louisville. We would not even consider another location, and are hoping our conference will be held here again next year.

I am probably more used to big cities, but our experience with this hotel had its ups and downs. What were the basses? We do not have food options either at the hotel or in the surroundings at 10:00 pm, when we checked in. I can also add that the room had an air that needed urgent remodeling. What were the highs? Breakfast included, with many options compared to the traditional American breakfast. Also the pasta of the restaurant very good.

I love this Hotel and facility. I recently attended a conference here. The staff/management and all were fabulous. They go out of their way to help their guests. My special vegan needs is an example of one way they helped me. This past Thursday the chef met with me and created a special meal I could eat. I loved it. The hotel is very clean. I can only brag about this fabulous place and many other attendees were raving too. This is a first class facility. Everyone on the staff was fabulous to work with. I highly recommend it based on my experience. I am picky so I know ordinary from EXTRA ordinary. I go with the EXTRA mile they deliver!!! All I can say is book and enjoy! You will be glad you did!!

Here for a conference. Wonderful hotel. Ballroom was very nice. Beds were very comfortable. The room had a lot of extra touches. Even a motion sensor light under the bed for when you got up at night. Has a Starbucks in the lobby. And the down town nightlife was just outside the lobby door. Parking garage. The only thing I would ask them to improve would be the in house restaurant called "Sway". The breakfast was okay but WAY over priced. The coffee was aweful. Ended up going back to the room and making a better cup there.

Great atmosphere. Room was comfy and clean. The staff were helpful and polite. The restaurant and bar had great food and drinks. The only down side were panhandlers and addicts hanging around on the streets.

The place was pretty on the outside, but the inside... inside the book in the hotel room, it said they had an Einstein beagles, but there wasn't, place isn't up to date. Hotel rooms were poorly designed, tiny tables and no room for much activity. Staff was very nice though. Overall it was an okay stay

Stayed here overnight and greatly enjoyed our visit. This was my first visit to this specific hotel and I found the whole stay to be very good. Staff was very helpful and friendly, every single person I dealt with was excellent and this was over a holiday so many likely did not really want to be there but if so I could not tell it.

Location was very nice being right by 4th Street Live, very convenient to a ton of things to see and do. I ate at the restaurant on site twice and the food was good and I felt it was worth the money. Room was nice, I loved the 60 inch TV in the room.

My only wish for this hotel was that they had a lounge, there is not a club lounge like I'm used to at Hyatt Regency locations. I think they should open one in what used to be a rooftop restaurant. I think that would be a nice addition to this property.

Wow! From the time we arrived and met the Valet at the door till the time we left my wife and I were amazed! Not only did the staff there help us with anything we needed but they were always trying to "go the extra mile!" Honestly, all you have to do is glance at them and they not only speak to you but often offer to help with anything you need!!

We also ate several times in the hotel restaurant and I can honestly say that the service was more than top notch. We enjoyed the food each day and even when one of us was sick they were super accommodating to help us get food together to take to the room.

We had hundreds of our friends staying at they Hyatt that weekend and everyone was blown away by the service that was so "extra mile." Everyone is so ready to come back here in the future if we have another conference in KY for sure.

The room was very clean, the housekeeping folks did a great job each day and we even had to order room service for supper the first night. Trust me on this one....the quality of the food delivered to us that night was spot on and worth every penny.

Did we love it? You Betcha!!

Hotel gave away my room. I had a reservation and arrived and they said they oversold the hotel. Unfortunately all of Louisville was booked for a conference so I had to find another hotel to stay at. Horrendous experience. My recommendation is to avoid staying here as they may rent your room out to someone else even after making a reservation! Oh, and they didn't give me a refund either.

My name is Jerrick Jefferson . My stay at the Hyatt in Louisville was horrible. 1. The bathroom was not clean. 2. Fron desk people have no knowledge og social places in the Louisville area. 2. Front desk people ignored our request for check out assistance ,instead giving us a cart and asking us to do it ourselves. Whit guest were being assisted in a grand fashion. Horrible hotel , horrible stay. Not a black people friendly hotel.

Rooms were very comfortable. We had to ask for a refrigerator after we unpacked, it was larger than expected when it was delivered by a nice older gentleman. Bathrooms are a little small and without fans. No free WiFi is on the property. The hotel is in a great location, near the free Friday night outdoor concerts just a few blocks away.

Overall, if I was staying in Louisville again, i would stay here once again.

The location is fantastic, as there is lots of restaurants beside it, or across the street. A short walk takes you to loads of other restaurants too. 4th Street Live is literally across the street, and this has to be one of the coolest ideas I have seen for a downtown. Food, drinks, and live music...all in an open air environment that is covered (sort of like Freemont Street).

The hotel itself was always clean, rooms were comfy with LARGE TVs, and it has nice amenities like a pool, tennis courts, and a workout room with weights, weight machines, and cardio equipment.

A solid choice in the heart of downtown Louisville.

I liked the Hyatt Regency and had a great room overlooking the river.

Unfortunately, the floor below the smoking floor does get wind of the smoke, so some rooms smell smoky, be sure to ask for a lower or higher floor when you check in.

Great meeting space and good food in the bar.

Nice hotel, parking was $15 a night. The rooms were large with modern finishes, and a very large tv. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but the shower had plenty of space. The room service was okay and the breakfast buffet was actually pretty good and they will customize things for you upon request.

This hotel is put together fantastically. We had a city view room on the 14th floor and it did not disappoint. The staff was super helpful from the valet parking to the cleaning staff. There is a fantastic restaurant on site as well as a Starbucks.

My husband had gone out of his way to find a really nice hotel, a room with a view, a super special get away. This was the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed at, and I was thrilled with the size of the room, the large screen TV and the bathroom was stunning. Then we tried to log onto the "free wi-fi" which was minimal and limited access for casual surfing. I guess watching a video at YouTube that last longer than 5 min is a "luxury" and you should pay extra for "premium access". Ok, lets watch that big TV, oh wait, $18-$25 per movie on demand. $9.99 for 24 hours of someone else's playlist if you wanted music.

2 of us, but only one coffee cup with 3 lids.

The bed was well worn and had a major dip in it that forced you to sleep in a bowl. The pillows divided like the red sea and swelled up around you, suffocating you, refusing to maintain any sort of pillow like qualities. I didn't sleep at all and spent the next day in agony, my husband likewise.

That lovely large screen TV was actually too big for the room and located off center. It was overwhelming and felt like we were sitting at the front row of a crowded cinema, you know, the worst seats in the house.

We were only there for one night, scheduled to leave early the following morning and were floored to learn that on top of all of the other charges we had to pay to park in the Hyatt's own parking lot.

Finally for $170 a night you can put some softer toilet paper on the spool.

Sure we could have asked for more of everything or I suppose requested them to exchange the bed or our room at 1 am when we had to get up at 7 am. . No matter how you look at it, by the time we realized the problem, it was already too late.
Maybe some people can afford this, but this was a once in a lifetime thing for us and it was sheer misery.

We didn't ask for money back, can't imagine when we could ever take another trip like that. If we ever do we would never do the Hyatt anywhere ever again. There's making a profit and then there's pure greed....

This place is gorgeous, clean, and the staff are honest and friendly. The rooms look recently updated and very sleek, and modern. I left a wallet and jewlery in the safe by accident after we had checked out. We went home and then I remembered. (opps- too much fun the night before!). Housekeeping put it all in a bag for me to be picked up later at the front desk. Highly recommended! Startbucks in the lobby too.

First, I was put in a newly renovated room, which was nice. But, the room smelled strongly of chemicals from the new carpet that was still gassing out and of paint fumes from their remodel of the floors below. The room they moved me into as a solution was old, had tattered furniture, and worst of all, hadn't been cleaned from the last guest...trash still in the trash can, toothpaste in the sink, dried urine on the toilet, etc., bad news. I went next door to the Marriott, which was clean and comfortable.
