The lobby was very clean and luxurious, the magenta LED s and glass elevator really make a statement(a good one). They always have fruit infused water to grab (free) when you re thirsty. Comfortable lounging areas with places to eat and watch tv. Big, beautiful conference rooms for large meetings and events, and much more. The concierges are always helpful, they have full knowledge of the building, and downtown Denver.
On the second level, there is space for events and a fantastic restaurant and bar. (Root 25 is the name of the restaurant)It offers delicate appetizers and filling feasts, great kids menus, and drinks. I recommend the pork sliders.... sooooo good!
Let s move on to the rooms. Elevator service is good, really cool sky bridges, and high quality features on the first 8 floors that they have remodeled so far. The upper floors are.... brown, and......beige. Nice bathrooms and storage space though, clean everything, no need to worry. The sheets are very thin, so ask for an extra set before it s too late. Views are good, see the Rockies! Room service is fantastic, we had low expectations for the eggs, but they turned out perfect! The water pressure is a little low, so be prepared. Great wedding hotel, surprisingly enough. The Perks downstairs has really god coffee and parfaits.
The pool and gym are very nice, definitely recommend going for a swim.... just keep in mind the altitude. If you are visiting Denver, or looking for a weekend getaway, this is a good option to put on the table. The photos below are of the view from a room, the glass elevator in the lobby, and sunset from just outside the hotel. Enjoy
