This is one of the mobile & data communication providers in Sri Lanka. Their coverage is mostly by 3G.

Service is poor I had to visit them to get their push messages stopped AND IT HAS NOT STOPPED YET.

I arrived in Colombo and was directed to get HUTCH sim and use data. The worse experience I had with this company. Please do not opt for this service. They are a big rip off. Service standard is poorest I ve ever experienced. They deactivated my sim on last day just 7 days in Colombo when I called them they were not even ready to listen to me and ask me to wait 24 hours. Big rip off company.
Got the plan with 7gb and it only lasted 1gb or so before I had to reload it. Bought the Sim at the airport. Staff pretty much stole my money right enough of me without me realising. If you are traveling to Sri Lanka avoid at all costs!!!

This is the head office in Sri Lanka for the telecommunications service provider Etisalat - a middle eastern company.
Services are reasonably good at this place.
Though currently Etisalat doesn't provide 4G and higher data plans their 3.75 G has a reason to purchase - it's generally cheaper than other service providers.
Parking available in the Galle Road side for customers. There is YWCA canteen in Rotunda Gardens road if you need to grab lunch. Customer care office is in the ground floor. Need to obtain passes from security desk if need to access other floors. 1st floor meeting rooms, 2nd floor - Finance and Procurement Divisions, 3rd Floor HR and Sales, Call Center, 7th Floor - Engineering, 8th Floor Marketing and CXOs

Some empowerment to the customer service staff to make decisions on deposits/balance transfering/credit adjustments would help improve customer service

Only two counters were open at 1.40pm. But I didn't have to wait even for 15 minutes. Very courteous service. But suggest a token system as the person who came 10 minutes after me almost went to the counter before me.

Earlier this week I had purchased a Hutch SIM card from a local Samsung store with a 51GB package for 1690 rupees + activation fees. 2 days later my 4g internet stopped working. I went to this Hutch branch to see what could be done. I suspected I had been scammed or there was a mistake with the sim card activation. Thankfully the hutch customer service representative listened to my dilemma and made a call to their compliant centre and asked for me to be credited the full amount. I could only be credited 10GB+ due to my phone number being an 072 number which may have been the mistake in the first place. I thought this was a nice gesture by hutch and the customer service representative that helped me. They did their best and I left satisfied. After 2 or 3 days my SIM automatically started working again. Thanks for doing your best to solve my problem. Good customer support and complaint resolution. I would recommend this company. 4g internet is fast too.

It has a group of friendly staff. However the management isn't professional enough. They do not intimate the receptionist when they give meeting appointments. The visitors are usually made to wait until the receptionist confirms with the management about the appointment.
People are not friendly enough to assistant you on related matters

Great place when it's was in colombo 3 Now it has located in colombo 4 Hutch Building. At the same time the customer service is poor because the call center has outsourced to BPO company

Very poor customer service ever.!! I use hutch nearly 7 years as a alternative number, last week i thought im going to make it my primary number.Because voice and data cheap. But after speak with customer service, i changed my mind to keep that number same as alternative.
